This was one of the best craft workshops I have ever been to. So well organised and Louise explained every step carefully and with such patience. We all came away with a little cottage that was totally personal to us and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend one of Louise’s workshops.

Louise is a fantastic host and all-round organised and enthusiastic creative!

Her workshops are good fun, highly organised and truly effective since everyone who takes part walks away with something they’re genuinely proud of. This is not something you can say for every workshop!

For the number of us involved in our workshop, Louise was professional, organised and did a fantastic job at supporting everyone including us stragglers!

Louise did an amazing job with a large group of us making one of the larger cottages. She was organised, friendly, welcome and so helpful throughout - even brought homemade rocky road and cookies for our break. I loved it so much we are organising another one to make Christmas cottages! 💖

I thoroughly enjoyed making my own little wooden cottage which came out so well that my daughter didn’t believe that I’d made it!! The teaching was very clear, and the workshop gave me a great opportunity to practise skills of drilling and felting which were new to me. I definitely recommend Tilly’s Cottages classes - and not just for the delicious home made biscuits either!! It was fab!

I went to a workshop to make two cottages. I was a bit nervous going on my own but Louise made everyone feel welcome straight away. The step by step instructions made sure we all went away with a finished product we loved. My main issue was deciding what colours to pick from the wide variety of options!

Did the workshop with two friends at yew tree farm, what a wonderful experience, I walked in and said to Louise there is no way I will be going home with anything like her beautiful example of what we were going to make ! She reassured me that I would be. Louise is so patient and explained step by step instructions, and slowly out masterpieces started to take shape, I am overwhelmed how beautiful my cottages turned out . Thank you Louise

I did a Tilly's workshop as part of the Broadway Arts Festival. It was a really fun afternoon spent making Liberty Print cottages. Louise was knowledgeable, patient and fun. We were able to choose from many different paints, fabrics, accessories to make our displays. It was amazing to see how different everyone's creations were.

Me and my mum took part in a workshop making Love Cottage and Bobbin Cottage yesterday, we had a wonderful time. Louise is an excellent teacher, the workshop was fun and the instructions were easy to follow, I was surprised and delighted with how my little cottages turned out. Thank you for a fabulous afternoon Louise.

Absolutely wonderful afternoon spent making liberty cottages under patient instruction. A fun, friendly and welcoming workshop which provided a great choice of materials to use (with a welcome extra of home baked goodies for break time!). A really well thought out workshop where I made beautiful cottages to enjoy at home. I will definatley be back!

I attended one of Louise's workshops at Yew Tree Farm with three friends. It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Everything was so well planned out, and we were given simple step-by-step instructions to produce two gorgeous little models. Mugs of tea and delicious homemade biscuits kept us going! We are planning to come back to make the Christmas-themed sculptures.
Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed the workshop last Thursday
Louise is an excellent tutor pacing the session so you never felt rushed, explaining process clearly, showing patience and making wonderful biscuits. Everyone in the session made cottages to be proud of.
I would recommend this workshop.

Great workshop with Louise, making a lovely bespoke Tilly’s Cottage. Good to do with a group of friends, fun choosing colour schemes etc and amazing to take home a finished article.

The workshop was a fantastic opportunity to relax and enjoy creating a beautiful piece of artwork with friends, with opportunities to customise and choose how it would look at every point, but with Louise also ensuring it was hands on at every step - we really did create the cottages from scratch. It has pride of place in my home and has a lovely memory attached to it!

I was excited to have the opportunity to try and emulate Tilly's Cottages myself at a Tilly's Cottages workshop having long been an admirer and collector, but I was nervous about the workshop - the steady hand required, and about the multiple different stages and completing the cottages in the given time. I didn't believe I could possibly come out with anything remotely polished or convincing myself. Louise was very clear with her step-by-step instructions and demonstrations, very patient and supportive and nothing was too much trouble, and I was overjoyed with and surprisingly proud of my cottages at the end of the workshop, and thoroughly enjoyed sharing the experience with friends. Thank you, Louise/Tilly's! I'll be back to make some different styles with more friends!

Took part in an amazing workshop. Lots of laughs doing it with friends and came away with a fabulous cottage which has been admired by lots of people! Highly recommend these workshops.

saw these products at a craft fair in leamington spa and asked to be added to newsletter. decided to buy one of the lovely models of 3 houses and a tree on a spirit level as a gift. it was despatched promptly and arrived gift wrapped so had to wait until after xmas when I'd given it as a gift to check it was ok. needless to say the recipient was delighted. great service.
