Doesn’t quote a fixed price .
Job for a medium size bay tree to be cut down. Thought I had a fixed price but turned up, saw me and upped the price from £450 to £600 by saying the job would take longer because couldn’t open my side gate door to take the tree out. took less than an hour.
No receipt . So not sure I would trust this lot again actually as has had mostly good reviews .
Live and learn about getting ripped off tradesmen nowadays.

We are sorry you upset about our service. We originally priced your job at £450 from a photo you sent me over via text message. When we arrived to site the tree was a lot bigger then it looked in the photo. We then gave you the option of paying us £600 to cut down the whole tree down and takeaway the waste or you can leave it and find another company cheaper to do it and you said it was fine and agreed the price. To top it off the side gate what was in the photo that you originally sent over to me, you couldn’t find the key on the day so everything had to be cut up in to small pieces and passed over a 6ft wall. That was another reason for the additional costing. There was no upfront payments made by yourself so you had the option to leave the work and go elsewhere but you was happy to still proceed with the job. You made us coffee whilst we was working and you was very happy when the job was completed as we even poisoned some of your other shrubs for you free of charge.
We have over 300 5 star reviews on the internet from happy customers so we are sorry you are not one of them.
