HORRIBLE COMPANY
HORRIBLE COMPANY, bought equipment thru a company called Swing Design which use Timepayment as there lease company. Our equipment went bad after only 4 months in which our business insurance covered partial so we recieved credit through an other company for the garbage we had for a new one. We are making our monthly payments and just recieved a our statement with an additional charge of $55 dollars due to them needing proof of insurance. Called to let them know we no longer have the equipment that it was credited towards a new model, the gentleman made o sense while I tried to explain so I just hung up. I don't know how this company even has 5 stars. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I replied to the response from Time Payment by calling the number provided for them to say the same thing all over again from one of there agents which makes it more frustrating as well as sent an email. The agent asked for my number with the promise of a return call last Thursday 6/5/25 and waited still no call back as well as no email respose.

Misleading practices and abusive lease…
Misleading practices and abusive lease terms
I signed what I believed to be a financing agreement for a piece of equipment, only to later discover it was a non-cancellable lease disguised as financing. The total cost is more than double the actual value of the equipment, and even after paying all the installments, I still have to pay extra if I want to keep it.
At no point was it clearly explained that this was a lease or that I would never own the equipment unless I paid more at the end. This lack of transparency is unacceptable and borders on fraud.
I do not recommend this company. If you're considering using them for "financing," read the fine print or better yet, look for a more ethical alternative.
Small business scammers
This outfit is part of a scam that roots deep from other companies( Icon payments solutions ,Oracle ,Axiom merchant services and Atrium Bancard solutions inc)that have changed names over the years and somehow no one really cares to stop them, because the lawyer’s they have are just as crooked. My lease was for two years(ended in January)but somehow they forged my name to extend the lease …. Sean Mechum AKA “Sean Peters” is the ring leader in my opinion and has done prison time in 2015 for bad business practices. I closed down my accounts after I fulfilled contact, doing so my 820 credit score is now a 700 because of this company reporting me. , I’m willing to lose my credit and fight the good fight in a court of law. It’s really sad that they have the law on their side and small business has to suffer the loss. I’m calling attorney general and Feds this week with hopes many of you do the same
STAY AWAY
Please stay away from this company. They are will find a way to charge you $100 in fees every month. There is no talk to them. They are backed by lawyers that you can't afford to fight with them.
Buyer Beware
I bought a bubble house from you a couple of years ago. On the website they have a "financing" option that I chose to utilize. I did it to help build some business credit since I had not had much business activity to that point. When I spoke to a Time Payment rep about the "financing", I was given a few payment options and I specifically asked about discounts if paid the "loan" off early. At that point in time, I should have been told that I this was NOT financing a loan but I was only "leasing" the bubble house. I have recently received an email that I must either pay $500+ to keep the bubble house or return it. When I inquired about it, they asked if I had read the entire agreement before signing. If you see Time Payment as an option for financing, run in the opposite direction.
This company is the biggest scam and…
This company is the biggest scam and full of lies. They should have been shut down by consumer protection advocates. Stay away from them and their unethical practices.
Very misleading on their terms
Very misleading on their terms. Not transparent at all!. VERY fine/hidden print talks about additional fees at the end of the contract and never gives clear total amounts. Then they add even more misleading fees after that. They also find ways charge fees for not jumping through all kinds of hoops for insurance documentation. It just keeps going on and on. Hidden fees here and there are pretty much how they make their money in my opinion and you are constantly chasing them.
Horrible negligent business
Horrible negligent business. I was just charged a random $700+ debited from my account without authorization after closing my account after 5 years of paying on autopay for leased alarm equipment. The excuse was that they made an error and applied someone else's money to my account a year and a half ago and just now figured it out so they charged me WITH additional late fees saying technically I was delinquent now that they had to debit the money back. I'm livid and they should be shut down. I got hung up on twice and was given different run around excuses each time. They also made me pay almost an additional $400 to keep the equipment after making the 60 payments agreed upon. Biggest scam company ever! Beware!!!
POOR business practices
The accounting practices of this company are grossly skeptical. My payment was supposed to be $145.00. I paid $200.00 for each payment, thus $55.00 more each month. Yet, each and EVERY month, they showed a past-due amount on this account. Even an elementary math student would see that this does not add up. Then when I called to do the same-as-cash buyout, I was on hold for 30 minutes before anyone bothered to answer and assist. me. The website DOES NOT allow for a SAC buyout. This company is extremely crooked.
We paid them 3 times more then we took…
We paid them 3 times more then we took and after last payment they sent us letter to buy equipment or sent it back. I had 30% down payment for equipment and finally still we paid two times more than it cost. Also they will charge you every payment $100 processing fee + sales tax (we took from them $6,500 and paid for 18 month $13,270). Do not recommend work with them.
Settled up and still dealing with Time Payments nonsense...
I'm currently on hold with Time Payment to speak with one of their "attorneys ". While everyone else in the country was starving during Covid; we settled with them. Now 3 years later even though Knoxville Courts finalized this matter, they are serving papers for the same matter. If you consider using this wretched, corrupt company, understand that they have the business practices of a Rent to Own furniture place and you will treated as such even if you do right by them in or out of court. I've never prayed so hard or asked God to curse and shut down a business more than this particular place.
Absolute 100% scam of a company
Absolute 100% scam of a company. I had a xopier lease with them for 60 months and at the end of the lease I had the option to buy the equipment at market value. Well, as a busy businessman I didn't pay attention to when the lease was over and they never emailed me or got a hold of me. After 6 months I realized that my 60 month lease was over and called them to find out why they had been charging me. The rep Joan Daniel straight lied to my face telling me that I had 1 month left and then I can return the equipment or buy it out just to squeeze me out of another $174. I emailed and called left messages but no one replied or responded and they proceeded to steal my money. They went behind my back and bought the equipment without giving me an opportunity to return it to the company that i leased it from. After that, they tell me that if I don't want to keep the equipment I had to return it to them in Massachusetts, even though when I leased the printer in Fresno California and I have to pay for the shipping of $1600. If I knew that I had to return the equipment myself across country I would've never even leased it in the 1st place. Now I have to pay the buyout fee and an additional 3 months of rental simply because they are nonresponsive.. after speaking with an attorney she said that she is with so many people like me that are getting scammed by this company that she doesn't even know how they still in business. This is a complete and total scam of a company. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!!!! If you are financing or planning to lease something, find out who the lease company is and if it's these scam artists, run away!!!!! I hope thus company goes out of business soon. A COMPLETE AND TOTAL SCAM!
DNE-Do not engage
This company was a payment processing agency for a water filter monthly lease for NextLevelH20. Turns out the whole thing was pretty scammy and our office keeps getting letters about a lease payment when we have no dealings with them directly. One more harrassment from them and the whole incident will get turned over to our corporate lawyers. It's important to note that any company that has you use TimePayment is a HUGE red flag.
NEVER deal with this company
NEVER deal with this company. I got a loan from them to get a new ToolBox and I wish I never have. They have had "Technical Difficulties" for over a month. I can't get a buyout quote on the site but I was able to send an email. Once I sent an email somehow instead of $5,000 I now owe a little over $11,000 and they won't help me. Also I made $800 in payments that are not showing up on the site that nobody can confirm with me. This place is a SCAM, Avoid at all costs..
Easy to work with, but strict on payment schedule. Read small print!
Easy to work with, but terms of agreement are extremely important here. Read the fine print! Your cost doubles in price if you cannot stick to the payment schedule. Unfortunately as a small business, this has hurt with COVID19 and there is no wiggle room with this company. They are always very professional about this, which is why the 3 stars, referring back to the agreement, which I respect as a small business owner. Just be careful and prioritize their payments or you will be stuck with a big bill. Not worth what we purchased.
