I sent my Tissot T-Touch in for what I expected would be a simple battery replacement. I was then told it couldn't be repaired because a required part is no longer manufactured. While I understand... See more

Tricky customer service - Charge you extra
Tricky customer service
They have a service to send your watch to them for repair for free. But after they fixed, they will charge you a return postage for a price of 2.5 time more expensive than a postage price.
And they are not clear in their website about it.
They are very tricky.
Do not waste money on Tissot
Do not waste money on Tissot, their customer service is completely non-existent and I cant even get a new stainless steel bracelet for my watch.
I would never buy Tissot again, thats for sure.
Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. I bought a watch fro my husband and they forgot to take the links out. So I sent the watch back and two month later they sent it back to me but again they did not fit it correctly to his wrist measurement and only took one link out as opposed to two. Finally they offered to pay for me to go into one of their suppliers to get the watch adjusted but why was I not offered this optioned the first time around?

Excellent quality.
Appalling service
Appalling service, con company for after service. Paid in excess of £300 plus for full service which comes under warranty but had a crown snapped after a months and being told it's due to life style, wear and tear or shock and won't be covered asking me to pay £220 day light robbery. As I refused to pay and they won't even sell parts advising me to go to independent shops. Never in my life again from Tissot brand
Crazy waiting time for a battery…
Crazy waiting time for a battery replacement: 2 months!!!
Long delays in getting watch repair …
Just a warning to anyone wanting their watch to be repaired or in my case a simple battery change. I sent my watch off to Tissot UK in late August for a battery change and received an email at the beginning of September confirming receipt. As I didn’t hear anything after 2 weeks I emailed the customer service team and was advised it would be ready until the end of October! So that’s 2 months to change a battery! They admitted they failed to let me know of the delay and this is impacting all customers. (Due to high demand and you guest it Covid, due to lack of staff)
If you are thinking of sending your watch to Tissot UK to be repaired expect a long delay and unfortunately (in my case) absolutely no information from Tissot of any potential delay.
Poor post-sales service
My son's 1 year old £200 watch was losing time so we went online to exercise the 2 year warranty. Upon completing our contact information, within 48 hours Tissot sends a free pre-paid parcel so as to return the faulty watch. We have now sent 2 completed forms the last one being on 22nd March 2021 but still no pre-paid parcels. The latest email received was from Ms. Jenni Buswell (Customer Care Executive!) based in Southampton informing us that the package should arrive within 3-5 working days. There is nobody in the office to phone due to Covid. What else can we do but write a poor review on Trustpilot
Every time i visit the shops of Tissot…
Every time i visit the shops of Tissot i am having lovely, elegant store. My experience has always been professional and welcoming. I have always been served by a very knowledgeable and lovely lady. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to the team!! keep safe.
Beware
Beware - Tissot nor its shops will tell you but at least some of its battery models have to be returned to the manufacturer or an authorised repairer just to fit a new battery.
Check before you buy!
I did complain to the UK center but just got a standard reply about where I can send the watch.
Excellent Customer Service First Response.
Tried to change the battery myself on my Tissot Touch. Watched the usually YouTube’s on the matter and adhered to the instructions. Tried it and failed. Emailed Tissot UK. No quibble response. The emailed back saying that they would send a reply paid envelope and a special transportation box to return the watch to them. The package arrived promptly and the watch has been returned. It’s a work in process And I will update but so far EXCELLENT response.
