Engine only lasted 3,600 miles

I bought a long block engine from them.

I give 2 stars because they shipped fast and their price was in line with others who did not have what I needed in stock. HOWEVER my engine blew a head gasket at 3,600 miles.

Once I got the head off it became clear it had not been decked and the gasket blew out in a low spot.

The block had been decked and was still shiny after a measly 3,600 miles but the inside surface of the head was quite dark and not smooth, clearly not surfaced. :(

One month out of warranty but hardly any miles.
