Another amazing stay at Titanic Spa

Another amazing stay at Titanic Spa! I have honestly never been to such a beautiful Spa! We booked a 2 bedroom apartment this time and it was absolutely exceptional. Everything was provided and I only wish we would’ve booked for a longer stay! From the lovely, helpful staff at reception, the brilliant treatments, the delicious evening meal and everything in between i honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough. We’ll be back!

Needs investment

Tired, dated and in need of refurbishment! The only reason it got an extra star was for Becky the therapist who was incredible and I had an amazing treatment from her! One small changing room for men with no doors on the shower cubicle and the only shower with a door was the disabled cubicle but the shower didn’t work!
Grubby with a dirty towel in one steam room, a half eaten apple by a plant in the heat experience, cold plunge water not clean and the hot tub water felt grimy.
It’s a shame as used to be an amazing place to go to but at 21yrs old it’s lacking investment to keep it up to date!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant Stay

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was our second stay at Titanic Spa and once again it was excellent. Rachel was very accommodating with our requests, especially around meal times, which we really appreciated.
A big thank you to Jess for a fantastic massage – it was very relaxing and professional and I felt great afterwards.
Thank you for another lovely stay. We would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back again.

The score reflects the cancellation terms it is so so bad if you need to cancel due to a very serious situation that you would never think of is horrendous

Big shame as the place is beautiful been before but will definitely not be booking again.

Some of the visit was lovely, some was unbearable

We went at the end of November as a treat. Our treatments started late but there was no add on time at the end so treatments we cut short by 5/6 mins on each treatment. We had a really nice break from arriving until our evening meal. The meal was lovely but the room temperature was unbearable. We couldn't finish our main course as we were too hot, we had to retreat to standing outside in the cold for 10 mins before going upto our room. The temperature in the room was also hot and we had turned the temperature to off but still had an uncomfortable night. We should have complained when we checked out but it was very busy as everyone checks out at 10am so we thought we would leave it and send an email. We didn't get much luck with the email, although Rebecca did apologise, she said she couldn't do anything about it as we didn't complain at the time (don't know about you lot but i'm not going down and complaining at 4am) The reply to my complaint about the dining room being so hot was, we have outdoor space for you to use (did she really think we would take our meal outside and sit there in the cold!) She did offer us a 20% discount on extra treatments we would book on our next visit, but as I said to her many times, we don't book extra treatments as they are too expensive. I asked if she could partially refund what we paid or a discount on our next visit (not extra treatments) but she declined this. This is why unfortunately I have given 2 stars and won't return 😔

Avoid! Appalling customer service

Sadly, this was a dreadful stay at Titanic Spa Huddersfield. This visit was especially disappointing as it was a Christmas gift and our fourth time returning. Over multiple visits, we have spent around £2,500, so our expectations were reasonable.
The spa pool was uncomfortably cold, and despite trying, we were unable to turn the heating on in our room. To make matters worse, they were running late for a treatment, and instead of accommodating this, the appointment was cut short, which felt very unfair especially after it costing £104!
We raised these issues as a formal complaint, but the Customer Service Manager was unwilling to offer any resolution. The complaint has since been passed to the Operations Manager, but the lack of accountability and care so far has been appalling.
For a spa of this reputation and price point, the experience and customer service were completely unacceptable. Sadly, we will never return and would strongly advise others to avoid

Wouldn’t recommend for a spa day

Very expensive for the facilities available, there are bigger and better spas you can access if you are paying that sort of money. Dated in places. The pool is very cold! Couldn’t enjoy a swim. Only one hot tub which was persistently busy so unable to use. Food was great and we found the staff pleasant and helpful. Reception staff a little short but everyone else very friendly. We went in winter and found it quite cold in some places, could do with some heating on! The relaxation room was nice but again we found it a little cold. Also not enough sun loungers by the pool for the volume of people. My treatment was fine, not the best facial I have ever had and it was very expensive. I wouldn’t recommend paying such money for a treatment there. The thermal suite was nice and we found it clean. Personally, I don’t think I will return as I found it very expensive and not worth the cost in comparison to other spas. They are very quick to charge excessive prices and offer limited flexibility if you need to make amendments to the spa day. We didn’t stay overnight so I can’t comment on accommodation.

Possibly the worst facial I have ever…

Possibly the worst facial I have ever had. I had to go after work as I was bought a voucher for my birthday and was not allowed to use it at the weekends due to some arbitrary rule. Consequently I had a full face of make up on. The girl who performed my facial was clearly newly trained and when she wafted some tissue over my eyelids I knew the makeup was still there. I asked her if she wanted me to give my eyes a good rub but she said no so I presumed she would be taking it off at another point. As the facial continued, I asked her again to remove my makeup which she still wafted over. I couldn’t relax and as predicted, at the end I went home with full eye makeup on! The facial was ridiculously expensive at £115 and very disappointing indeed!

Second time we stayed overnight wont be…

Second time we stayed overnight wont be again! My husband and I stayed Sunday/Monday with the 55 min treatments each and lunch and dinner and apartment.
We loved it last year when this was purchased by one of our daughters.
We found the areas dirty, flooring in the changing rooms, no towels when required so had to walk to reception in wet clothes to get clean towels.
My husband paid for the VIP couples massages in the same room with prosecco and chocs at the end. We couldn’t drink or eat in the massage room so had to walk to the entrance of the bar, 4pm, half a glass of flat Prosecco, unpalatable and there were about 7/8 women sat and stood around our drinks and chocs. Not hygienic.
Our apartment didn’t have towels so my husband had to go to reception again to request these as the phone number couldn’t get anyone to respond. The lights in the kitchen units didn’t work as the fuse had gone so not impressed with the low standards but to not provide loo roll in the gents loos and lack of clean towels is a definite NoNo. The changing room floors and toilet floors ground in dirt.We unfortunately will not be returning.

Shocking Experience

Absolutely awful experience, my Sister had gift voucher as a Christmas present believing it to be for Liverpool Titanic Spa. She did not realise that it was for a Spa in Yorkshire. This was not made evident when making the booking over the phone. We added an extra person on to the booking which was for an amount over £100. My Sister called back straight away (within the hour) as soon as she realised the mistake but they would not refund, stating that all bookings were non refundable. Even when there was a legitimate reason and a genuine mistake made. In addition to this the Spa agent Rebecca was extremely rude and heartless and didn't give a damn that we had made such a big mistake. I actually had to say they were a vile human being, which was like water off a ducks back to her, she really didn't care at all. I was quite shocked at her dismissiveness. We requested a means to complain further and requested the full name of the person we should complain to, we were only given a first name Rebecca and they refused to provide a surname. I have an email address but feel we would be wasting our time. This is not how I expect a customer to be treated, this is extremely unreasonable. I would not suggest anyone book here, spend your money elsewhere.

Recently visited the spa and overall we…

Recently visited the spa and overall we had a lovely day as a nice time with friends - however the experience was clouded by poor food, terrible hot drinks, sub standard treatments (and the wrong one in one instance) and feeling that things missed the mark.

The spa is lovely but overall it feels a tad dated / tired now. The gym has very old equipment and the changing rooms could do with a refresh. The best experience is excellent…

We shared our experiences with the ream and they didn’t charge us for the poor food and the team reached out after our visit. So they did everything they could and were very pleasant.

We did a winter offer so assume it was discounted and it still felt quite pricey. Not sure I’ll visit again….
