Plumber misdiagnosed the cause of the…

Still dealing with their debt collection heavies for a £100 after months of of dispute resolution in spite of them costing me multiples of that for an unnecessary new toilet and alternate competent installer.

Their plumber misdiagnosed the cause of the WC cistern leak resulting in me incurring a £500 new WC instead of a £11 O-ring replacement. Then left me in the lurch with no WC for weeks refusing to respond to multiple requests for help.

Their previous shower grouting repair, leaked in the first 12 months and they have ignored their 2 year warrantyas the issue got subsumed in the later WC problems above.

Looks like they have a decent handyman judging by the other reviews but I recommend you don't touch them for plumbing. Pure hassle.

Poor customer focus. Beware their rushed first call out diagnoses.

Absolutely fantastic! Will use again.

- Very reliable, and lovely, tradesmen and customer service team.
- very respectful of the space and home. Left the area clean each day and cleaned up as he went along.
- Excellent communication before, during and after the work
- Good value for money
- tradesmen was very honest about skillset and arranged a specialist where necessary

Will definitely be using again!!

Never recommend

They don't carry out their jobs with reasonable care and skills (all documented by evidence). Never recommend.

Updates: as we can see from their below response, they attempt to eschew their responsibility by providing different excuses. They were paid to close gaps for pest control, but they failed to do so at every level. The agreement with their technician was that they can be re-called for free at anytime if the issue remained, however they broke their agreement when it came to reality.

One of their most funny excuses is that they were asking to investigate our neighbor without bothering themselves to visit their work in our flat and assess their poor performance.

Another funny allegation by this fraudulent company is that when they were first contacted for a re-call they claimed their repairs can't be valid for 5 months. Then over a significant time of going back and forth with their funny excuses, they claimed in their response below '7 months' without acknowledging the extensive time they took to respond.

You can expect the quality of their service from their response below! What a company! Their repairs expire within a couple of months! All documented by evidence.

These can include structural vulnerabilities, external access points, and other attractants that are beyond the scope of our initial intervention. This multifaceted nature of pest infestation was highlighted in our correspondence, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of potential reinfestation risks.
Your emails suggest a direct correlation between our service and the pest issue without acknowledging the broader context of pest control challenges. This overlooks the advice and explanations provided on multiple occasions regarding how and why infestations can recur despite professional interventions. Pest control is a complex field that requires continuous management and, often, adjustments in strategy based on evolving conditions.

Regarding your dissatisfaction expressed in previous communications about materials used for sealing, such as silicon and glue, it was our intention to select the most appropriate solutions based on our professional assessment. Despite detailed explanations, the critique and your taking every opportunity to complain show how poor your understanding is, despite how many times we had to explain the technical aspects of pest mitigation strategies.

It is regrettable that our efforts to communicate the intricacies of effective pest control were not met with the understanding we hoped for. Moving forward, it is necessary to state that while we are open to constructive feedback, unfounded accusations and threats of legal action are neither conducive to resolution nor reflective of the professional dialogue we strive for.
We are prepared to defend our approach and services in any necessary forum. Our commitment to providing quality services matches our commitment to uphold our professional integrity in the face of baseless claims.

We suggest any further communications be directed through our legal representatives to ensure that all discussions are conducive to a fair and reasonable resolution.

Electrical work

I recently used TMT for electrical work in Central London and was impressed. They were professional and skilled and sorted out my fusebox quickly. The team was on time and got straight to work, fixing my electrical problems with no fuss.

Their prices were clear from the start, so there were no surprises, and the electrician was friendly and explained everything clearly.

Excellence at a price

Quick and polite telephone booking service. Appointment next day. Plumber arrived on time. A very pleasant gentleman who worked professionally, quickly and tidily. Brought correct parts for the job and clearly knew what he was doing. Finished within an hour and certainly as good as Pimlico Plumbers.
I'm deducting a star for the eye watering price and refusal to take cash payment which I had requested when making the booking. Thus cost me an extra £50 in VAT. Ouch!

I have used TMT many times over the…

I have used TMT many times over the years and they have never let me down.
They turn up on time, get the job done and don’t charge the earth for doing so. And due to a broken down passenger lift, this time they had to drag their tools up eight storeys to my flat, a task they carried out uncomplainingly and with surprisingly good humour.

Really disappointed.

Really disappointed.

1. There were a small few jobs that needed doing e.g. hanging objects. Re quality of work; the the handyman made multiple extra drill holes in the wall

2. A second visit was needed for extra materials to be ordered. There was a week in between jobs. I called the company three times to confirm all materials had been ordered. Twice I was promised a call back to update me, twice there was no contact.

3. On the day of the follow up job, the handyman reported he had not bought all of the material needed and needed to go to a shop to purchase this. They charge by the hour and he reported I would have to pay for the time he was away purchasing the product. I questioned this - he suggested speaking to head office. I followed his advice - 2 minutes later he decided to leave the job. I had taken time off work. The company still charged me for the previous work at a slight discount.

I wanted to report facts...anyone reading this can make their own judgement.

To be fair there were some positives. Jeffrey at the main office was always available to help. Perhaps I was just unlucky with the one member of the company that did my job.I would like to think that if the handyman had decided not to leave suddenly, the company would have understood and agreed that charging me for getting materials whilst having a week to previously do so before the job, was unreasonable.

Hence, our handyman suggested getting the additional materials during his break.

Regarding the handyman’s experience, it appears there was a breakdown in communication on-site, which led to discomfort and, ultimately, his decision to leave the job. We value the respect and dignity of all parties involved and regret that the handyman felt uncomfortable during the interaction and no longer thought he could provide you with a 5-star service.

Lighting issues...

Just wanted to share my awesome experience with TMT Central. I've used their services before and they never disappoint. This time, I had some lighting issues in my flat and after reporting it to Krystel, she quickly arranged for a handyman to visit the next day. The handyman was super friendly and professional, and obviously, problem solved! I'll definitely keep using this company in the future.

God job from TMT

I called TMT about two jobs in my flat. Krystel in the office was easy to contact and responded by email confirming the details. TMT had to come to my flat twice to complete the job. On both occasions, Albren was punctual, polite and helpful. TMT sends notifications and reminders by text and emails, which I found very reassuring.
