What a load of crap ordered a ridge…

What a load of crap ordered a ridge monkey toaster of them recieved it opened it up no handles and lid not shutting now sent back and because they won't look at what they sell and check inside boxes they would see quite clearly that no handles are apparently there. Anyway iam the customer who suffers I got a faulty useless toaster and iam getting the flack do one tober manor never use these again

Unfortunately things have changed for…

Unfortunately things have changed for worst, every fish that was caught looked like Glasgow gangsters have had a go at their mouths with a knife. Car parks to small and the porta loos well I won't tell the horror story there (although that is down to the dirty scum thatbleft it in that state). Not one balif stopped to see if we were booked, check rod lines or chat, or even chat to anyone on the lake over the whole 3 days, let alone do a toilet check. 2 years ago i left a 5* and today its a 1* which is generous on my part

First class service and price.

It’s not often I review, but felt this experience earned my time to do such.

I was looking for a new landing net and after a lot of research, I settled for the Korum snapper fast net combo, RRP circa £69.99. After a trawl on google I noticed Todber Manor fishers were advertising the item at £32.00…. To good to be true? Definitely not and this is where the review really starts.
I contacted them by email on Thursday night to ensure the item was in stock. I got a reply from a lady called cherry the very next day, in fact the email was in my in box before I got up. The item was confirmed in stock, and a following email confirmed it was the correct item, matching the product code and pictures etc. Their location was 2 hrs drive from me, otherwise I would have gone and collected the net, so I chose next day delivery for £6.50.

I proceed with the online purchase and instantly received order confirmation. 15 minutes later the item was emailed as shipped, and a further 1 hour later DPD emailed me to confirm receipt of the goods, and they would be with me on Jan 3rd, due to the bank holiday period. Can’t argue with that, my new nets on its way. 😁

To my surprise and unexpected door bell ring at 11.30 today, I opened the door to a large square box, which to my surprise contained my net… 🤗

The net is brand new, in a sealed bag, and is exactly the item I wanted, at half the price.

Thank you cherry and the team at Todber Manor, and thank DPD and team for providing such a first class service, even on New Year’s Eve.

Have a great 2023 and I look forward to more purchases at Todber Manor, I even might take a trip to fish the many lakes advertised on the website.

Ordered new bivvy and when it was set…

Ordered new bivvy and when it was set up for the first time I noticed damage to it, sent pictures to them so they contacted the manufacturer who authorised a new bivvy to be sent out. Unfortunately they never had one in stock so kindly offered to let me use the damaged one until the new one arrived (which was a few weeks so if they hadn't allowed me to use it I would have been off the bank for a few weeks). Will definitely you them again for purchases

Great products and reliable

As I am heavily into lure fishing, this is one of the must have online stores in your bookmark folder.
They have a selection of quality products and don't waste their time selling inferior products or brands. They clearly know what they are doing and know what items future lure fishing enthusiast would like to buy to take their game to the next level.
I have not given them 5 starts, as they can be slightly slower than other competitors out there when it comes to delivering goods, but they are very reliable and unless in a hurry this should no affect your buying decision.

Damaged goods!

I purchased a very expensive fishing rod from Todber Manor tackle shop. It arrived very quickly which was, what I thought, very good service. Upon opening the rod and inspecting it I found dents and grazing to the duplon handle so I informed the shop and asked if they could replace it with one that was not damaged. They collected the rod promptly and then rang me to tell me to ring the owner of the fisheries who was called ‘John’. He proceeded to tell me that he would not be replacing the rod as the damage was minimal and he had ‘shown 15 people in his shop’ the rod and they all said it was good enough! He spoke over me and admitted to the damage by saying ‘I might have stuck my nail into it...’ but he was adamant that I was in the wrong for expecting a rod that wasn’t damaged. I’m not quite sure as to how someone manages to run a business with this attitude to customer service, but as far as I am concerned the 15 people who said the rod was ok didn’t have to pay for it! He told me he would refund me instead. What is very strange is that the rod I had delivered had no plastic sheath as all new rods have, and there were pressure marks in the strapping which holds the sections together along with the damage. The only way this could be in this condition is if they took one from the shop which was used as a display model (second hand). That and the fact that they chose to not replace the rod indicates they didn’t have one to replace it with which adds weight to the suspicion that it was a. display model that I was sold. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from a supposedly professional outfit. I was absolutely fuming as this was a gift for a very good friend! John... you may think you were going to ‘tell me what for’ but it didn’t work out like that for you. I suggest you sell items that are not damaged in the future.
