I'm Ollie McCartan. — I founded Toesies in 2026 after years of watching farming family go through pair after pair of cotton work socks that fell apart in weeks. I wanted to make something better. Something that could handle a real day on an Irish farm — silage, slurry, long hours in wellies, Irish weather — and still be going strong a year later. Alpaca wool turned out to be the answer. Advertised as premium alpaca socks and…

Advertised as premium alpaca socks and expensive ones too but decided to fork out as my partner has issues with sweaty feet and pain because of the wet feet. Product arrived a few weeks later from China in flimsy packaging. No wheres does it state what the socks were made of. Not alpaca, not even wool. They could be plastic for all I know. Now they
changed their advertising to Merino Wool. They still have some ads on their site saying its alpaca wool and even their description here says it. Feel totally scammed.
