I love the app and use it everyday

I love the app and use it everyday. I have used their customer support twice and both times they have been helpful and prompt. The app can seem pricey but for me it's well worth the equivalent of the monthly amount as I would have spent that on regular sheet music.

This app is an answer to prayer!

This app is the answer to my violin prayers! When I have to play my violin for an event, it's really easy to use TomPlay to put together my playlist, with the interactive music, and a great solid backing track. Before TomPlay I would have to purchase or download separate tracks, then have the sheet music somewhere else, then get them on a playlist. With Tomplay this is all resolved in one place. I can select which instrument I want to include and all kinds of things that make this app superb. They are constantly adding new music and are very responsive to suggestions. TomPlay has EXCELLENT customer service. I can't recommend this app enough. It has made my life so much easier as a musician. PLUS, I can play both online and offline as long as the track is downloaded - that is HUGE!

After 50 years of not playing my Sax

After 50 years of not playing my Sax, I came back to playing it again. Tomplay is such a great app with a lot of fantastic songs. Most of all, I loved the idea of a back tracking when I play the music. It makes the experience of playing my sax with a Orchestra backing me up, sensational. In my old days, it was boring play alone but with Tomplay app it made it fun so I play and practice every day. So grateful!

Tomplay is GREAT!

The Tomplay app is great to use. So much fun to play along with such a wide range of music. When I've had problems or questions, customer service has been very responsive and helpful. I practice and play much more since I started using the app and I check the new additions every week, since they keep adding new songs all the time. A FANTASTIC app.

Good service! Although be carful with the deadlines.

The actual app is very useful. The presentation of their offer is not very clear, which is why I mistakenly subscribed to a one-year subscription, but they refunded me. Just keep in mind that the 14 days trial leads directly to a full year subscription so don't miss the deadline if your only interested by monthly commitments!

Unauthorised transaction

The actual app itself is okay but after the 14 day trial I had cancelled it and it still charged me it was very misleading because it said it was $15 a month but instead they charge me AU$180 …I didn’t authorise it and I had cancelled it before the trial ended but somehow they managed to get money out of my account and I was overdrawn so I had a lot of trouble I emailed them three times both on their site and then had to call Paypal ,my bank and contact them through PayPal there as well …it’s been over three days and I have not had a reply since!!.. I keep getting an automated response saying we have received your email, and that is it …so $180 has come out of my account I’m not happy about that at all as I am on a disability pension am really upset so customer service is bad unless you have international calling and can ring Switzerland ! And probably even then they won’t answer… I want this sorted out with them as soon as possible I urge everyone to be very careful with their Sneaky methods !!

Please allow us to clarify: when you start the 14-day free trial, it is linked to the yearly subscription, and unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, it will automatically renew into a full-year plan. This is mentioned during the subscription process.

The $15 monthly option you mentioned refers to our monthly subscription, which does not include a free trial. We understand how this could have caused confusion.

Regarding the pricing, please note that our website includes a currency selector at the bottom of the page, allowing users to view and start the subscription in their local currency, including AUD.

I use Tomplay daily. Tomplay had many possibility’s…. You can remove the bass line in audio so you can play your own bass line. What i also like is that you can change the tempo of the music without change of tone. And so much more…

I really liked the variety of music…

I really liked the variety of music available. I don't have a piano but wanted to practice and do a little vocal instruction and so this was invaluable.

Buyer be very very aware.

BEWARE they auto renew your subscription without sending a warning they are going to take your money. Even though I asked for a refund annual charge on the actual day they took the money from my account they refused. They only offer to delay the start date of the new subscription or I could have a gift subscription to give someone else instead. Both option benefit the company, not me. If I can’t afford the almost £100 subscription I can hardly afford that sort of gift for someone else.
They say they are a small company so can’t give refunds and that they tell you they are going to auto renew when you sign up. That was a year ago and almost every other subscription service reminds you before taking an annual subscription.
So if you subscribe to this app, buyer be very aware and expect poor customer service.

I am happy to report that in response to this review Tomplay have refunded the money they took. Thank you Tomplay, as I have said in my message to you directly it is a shame that you didn’t respond reasonably to my initial emails.

Tomplay is what keeps me playing

I really love this app! Since I stopped taking violin lessons, Tomplay is what keeps me motivated to play. It's much more fun to play to play with Tomplay than just on your own and it's so easy to discover new pieces to play. Also the customer support is great. I currently had an issue with the automatic payment and they were really helpful and quick to respond.

Restart my Sax

I decided to restart playing my saxophone after years of not and also hired an online instructor . I had decided I wanted to surprise my husband at his birthday party I was throwing for him with playing one of our favorite songs. I also putchased the Tomplay app to start having fun with songs That are popular. The app was so easy and it was wonderful being able to play along with instruments & all the other options it allowed. Unfortunately I had to have hand surgery and was not able to continue with my practice for a few months. I totally forgot about my Tomplay subscription untilI saw a charge for a annual renewal and although it’s not in their policy, I was able to get a refund quite easily. Once I start up my saxophone again I will definitely go back to Tomplay for music!

A Great App and Very Much Worth Supporting

This is a really, really, good app and worth the cost for anyone who enjoys developing their skills on their instrument of choice. Lots of backing tracks and a really easy app to use, with lots of useful features, including the ability to record sound and video, a helpful learning feature.
