Gifted a set of Tony Lama Buckaroo…

Gifted a set of Tony Lama Buckaroo boots recently. Caught a spur taking them off and the whole back of the boot pulled apart. This is definitely not my Dad's generation's quality of boot. Sole/Heal to leather back there had no nails or stitching, only glue, holding it together (and a hollow heal). Not sure what for what purpose they advertise these things, but not good for any serious cowboy activity, certainly not for work.
