Buyer Beware!

I bought into toonbee under the impression it was a computer program - a ‘one time fee’ was advertised - only to find it is an online platform and it costs credits you have to pay for. As soon as I bought it they revealed the sinker: I had only paid for ‘basic’ level access and needed to upgrade to ‘pro’ to get anything they had actually advertised. Then I had to buy an extra subtitles package. I declined these two ‘one time offers’.
I generated one video. Not for me. Just another editing program to learn. Horrible AI generated scenes. Wouldn’t even do what I described, I put in an exact description and got a paraphrased script I had to rewrite. Decided ‘no thanks’.
Now the trouble starts. It took three days to convince them I actually wanted a refund and not a free upgrade. Then I was told it would be two days. A week later I contacted them again and received a very apologetic reply and ‘evidence’ of the refund. Should be in your bank in two days. Already been three. Still waiting. No answer to further inquiries.
Buyer beware!

The creation of Mr Robot

At first I was a little frustrated and wondering if I made the right move, but then after I met with Mellissa, who I think is an AI bot, or a human that types really fast and remembers exactly where we left off. Most likley AI.
She or They guided me through the process which is a little different from most. I am a 75 year old DJ that doesn't want to be labled "DJ Grandpa" (although I guess that would be cool also). So I have taken on the persona of "DJ Mr Robot" so that I can DJ anonymously with a hoddie and a LED mask with a robot face. I can add different still photos or pick from a group of premade videos. But with this method, I lack the personal inteaction with the audience that a DJ must have.
So with Mellissa's help, I have created the perfect robot face that has a great personality, and I can have it talk and made facial gesters. It's really great!
I do need to upgrade my mask now to be able to use videos, but now I will be able to record several different videos to use in my performance and maybe eventually be able to have AI actually follow what I say and reproduce my facial expretions. But at least I have a personality instead of a still image to work with.
Thanks Toonbee!,
DJ Mr Robot

Exceptional Value, Infinite Styles, and Stellar Support!

(An Honest, Long-Term User Review)

As someone who purchased Toonbee when it first launched, I have had a front-row seat to its evolution. I didn't just buy the basic software—I went all in, purchasing the **lifetime credits and every single additional package** available. Looking back, it is easily one of the best investments I’ve made for digital creation.

If you are on the fence about Toonbee, here is my honest, firsthand experience:

Massive Evolution & Value

From day one to now, the developers have made **significant, high-quality improvements**. They didn't just launch a product and abandon it; they have consistently upgraded the platform. Because of this, the return on investment (ROI) is massive. If you stay committed to your vision and consistently use the program for your intended projects, **you will get your money back in no time.**

Unmatched Creative Variety

One of my absolute favorite things about Toonbee is the sheer variety. There are **so many different animation styles** to choose from. Whether you are looking for something sleek and modern, classic, or highly specific to a certain narrative theme, you aren't boxed into just one "look." It gives you the creative freedom to pivot styles depending on the project you're working on.

World-Class Customer Support

You can judge a company by how they treat their users, and Toonbee truly shines here. **Their help desk is incredibly friendly, patient, and kind.** No matter how complex, simple, or frequent my requests have been, the support team always responds with genuine warmth and a willingness to help. Knowing that a supportive team has your back makes the user experience so much better.

The Verdict

Toonbee is powerful, versatile, and backed by a team that actually cares about its community. **I totally recommend this product** to any creator, educator, or digital storyteller looking to elevate their content. Go all in—you won't regret it!

Advertised as "Unlimited," Delivered a Credit System — And Their Refund Policy Traps You Once You Try to Use It.

Advertised as "Unlimited," Delivered a Credit System — And Their Refund Policy Traps You Once You Try to Use It.

**The short version:** ToonBee sells a product described as "unlimited AI video generation." In reality, credits deplete with every generation. And once you've used more than 50% of those credits trying to use what you paid for — their refund policy blocks you from getting your money back. It's a closed loop.

---

**What was advertised:**

ToonBee's sales page states:
> *"Create Unlimited Toon Videos — Generate as many toon videos as you desire, empowering you to express your creativity without boundaries."*
> *"As a special welcome gift, we're giving you 500 AI Credits the moment you join."*

Their Terms of Service, **Section 2.2**, states:
> *"Upon purchase, ToonBee grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to: Generate unlimited AI cartoon videos using our platform."*

Their Terms of Service, **Section 4.1**, states:
> *"no monthly billing, no daily caps, and no per-generation charges under ordinary use"*

**What was actually delivered:**
- Credits deducted on every single AI generation
- 500 credits depletes in approximately 20 videos
- Additional credits must be purchased separately to continue

---

**The Trap — How the Refund Policy Completes It:**

ToonBee's refund policy states:
> *"If you've used 50% or more of your credits, it means you've had the opportunity to experience a significant portion of what ToonBee offers. In this case, we consider the product to have been substantially delivered, and refunds are no longer available."*

Think about what this means in practice:

1. You purchase ToonBee believing it is **unlimited**
2. You start generating videos — which is the entire point of the product
3. You naturally use credits because **every generation costs credits**
4. Once you cross 50% usage (~250 credits, roughly 8–12 videos), **you lose your right to a refund**
5. You are now stuck with a product that does not match what was advertised — and you cannot get your money back

You don't even need to be a heavy user to lose refund eligibility. **You just need to try the product.**

---

**What happened when I raised this with support (7-day ticket documented):**

Support agent Florin's responses, over 11+ exchanges:

1. **Admitted the product is credit-limited on record:**
> *"Yes, AI Generation is limited by the credits you have"*
This directly contradicts "unlimited" and "no per-generation charges."

2. **Invented a contractual limit that doesn't exist in the ToS:**
> *"by 'unlimited,' there is also a limit of 10,000/year"*
The number 10,000 appears **nowhere** in ToonBee's Terms of Service.

3. **Added a fake word to Section 2.2 mid-dispute:**
> *"Not: Generate FREE unlimited AI cartoon videos"*
The word "FREE" does not exist in Section 2.2. He fabricated it in writing.

4. **The same 3 options were copy-pasted verbatim at least 5 times** across 7 days, with zero engagement on specific contractual questions.

5. **Processed a refund without consent** in an apparent attempt to close the ticket, then halted it only after formal written objection.

6. **Refused to escalate** despite multiple formal requests over 7 days.

---

**The bottom line:**

ToonBee's business model appears designed as follows:
- Advertise "unlimited" to drive purchases ✓
- Deliver a credit-limited product ✓
- Let customers burn credits trying to use what they paid for ✓
- Block refunds once 50% of credits are used ✓
- Offer copy-pasted "more credits" options when challenged ✓

I was fortunate to catch this early enough to still qualify for a refund. Many customers who simply use the product normally will not be so lucky.

I have the full support transcript, archived sales page, refund policy, and Terms of Service documented. This review reflects exactly what is in those documents.

If you are considering purchasing ToonBee — read their ToS Sections 2.2 and 4.1, then read their refund policy's 50% credit clause. Ask yourself whether those two things can coexist honestly.

This is a solid app for video creation

This is a solid app for video creation! It has some issues but overall it's a great experience. I like the fact that I can use any Ai engine I want inside the app, sometimes it takes a bit longer to generate the videos but that's not an issue of the app, but of the video models themselves. Recommend this!

I have to admit I was frustrated at…

I hoe this information hep you get started. I have to admit, I was frustrated at first too. Then I started using Freeform Mode, and it completely changed my workflow.

Now, I create my character and scene images in ChatGPT and upload them to ToonBee. This gives me much more control and helps ensure I get exactly the results I want. Once the image is uploaded, all I need to do is provide the video-generation prompt.

One approach you may want to try is creating your scene images in ChatGPT first and then uploading them to ToonBee. That's what I do to keep my characters consistent across scenes and get more control over the final result.

Example Image Prompt for ChatGPT

For example, if you're creating Scene 3, you'll want to make sure the prompt references the same character used in previous scenes:

Vertical 9:16 portrait format. Realistic photographic style. Use the same woman from the reference image. She is sitting comfortably on a cream sofa, holding a printed guide on her lap and flipping through the pages with a warm smile. Soft natural daylight, cream and beige tones, cozy living room background, shallow depth of field. No text, no logos.

Example Video Prompt

After uploading the image to the Scene Image section, you could try a video prompt like this in the Scene Video section:

Subtle natural movement, realistic talking motion, gentle blinking, slight head movement, soft breathing, small hand movement, warm emotional expression, static camera. Character glances down at the guide while speaking.

Woman:
"Every name has an origin, a meaning, and more."
"I finally feel like I can make the right choice."

Of course, these are just examples to show my process. Feel free to modify the prompts to fit your own character, scene, style, and story. The main idea is to use ChatGPT to create a consistent scene image first, then let ToonBee animate it with a video prompt tailored to your needs.

Excellent AI Video Creation Platform with Great Potential for Even Better Lip Sync

I've created four videos with Toonbee so far, and my experience has been excellent. The platform is easy to learn, and I found myself becoming more comfortable with its features as I worked on each project. The video quality, character generation, scene consistency, and overall workflow have exceeded my expectations.

As someone who creates educational and training videos, particularly role-play scenarios, Toonbee has helped me bring ideas to life quickly and professionally.

One area where I believe there is an opportunity for further improvement is lip synchronization. While the results are generally very good, there are occasional moments when the mouth movements do not perfectly match the spoken dialogue, especially during longer conversations or more complex sentences. Enhancing lip-sync accuracy would make the characters appear even more natural and realistic.

Overall, I am very satisfied with Toonbee and look forward to seeing how the platform continues to evolve. The pace of improvement has been impressive, and I am excited to create more videos with it. Highly recommended.
