I had an older car that had some cosmetic issues so did not want to go down the route of selling privately. Had heard good things about Tootle and was not disappointed. The ability to put photos and describe the condition accurately means that the offers should be realistic. Got three offers in the end all in the same ballpark. Went with the local dealer for my car model and they came next day to collect with the money in my bank before they drove off. I got roughly what I was expecting so happy with the process.

Quick sale and friendly helpful team.
Put my car up and received offers within a couple of hours. Was a really quick process. The dealer then came to view my car and I got what I wanted for it. Overall really impressed with the service and how friendly the team was.

Best price by far!
I tried most sites to get the best price and gave up, thinking I wouldn’t get enough to clear my finance. Then I tried tootle and was offered £2k most than we buy.
I accepted the offer, the dealer contacted me and when I dropped the car off, they didn’t try knocking the price down, they just paid the finance company directly and I was on my way.
I would highly recommend tootle to anyone looking to sell.

Very good service. I got £500 more for my car than the best trade in price I was offered elsewhere. The dealer that bought my car was great, excellent communication and couldn’t be any more helpful. 5 stars!

Good - would recommend
Good experience overall. Tootle obviously keen to get me to accept offer (I only had one offer in the end) but as it was better than WBAC and didn't want to sell privately, went ahead. Not too pushy though with me. I liked having a personal contact to deal with as well. Experience with buying dealer was excellent - friendly, courteous and no issues with offer made. Money transferred immediately as well.

Very easy, hassle free way of selling your car. I got offers instantly on my car and I sold it to the highest bidder after 3 days of it being advertised.
Very very considerable mark up from the price ‘we buy any car’ gave me as they don’t take into account the optional extras you may have on your car.
Highly recommend.

It is nice and easy to use. I think you need to do the research and see how much your car worth and stick to your gun. I've got the price that close to my price and the dealer was very respectful. Transaction was good.
I have been very honest about my listing but there are a few people try to offer you much less......research is a must.

Good company, awful customer service
Good company, awful customer service. Listed my car, got a few low priced offers same day - so far so good, let's wait for higher numbers i thought. But few hours later received a call from Tootle employee asking why i am not accepting any offers and what i am waiting for?! I explained that i am waiting for a better priced offers only to be told that my price was way too high and nobody will offer me that. I was able to reply that if i don't get close to my asking price i will remove my advert at which point "customer representative" asked why then i put my advert there in the first place? Overall good company and interesting business model (Tootle get fees once your car is SOLD to the dealer, hence slightly angry "tactics").

The dealers will offer based on the current trade market, so we will always advise if a seller's price is too high and look to align with the trade market. We look to work with sellers and ensure they receive a fair offer. We do not want to waste seller or dealer time, it is proven that overpriced cars are often ignored by dealers.
