I've been writing for this company for 3-4 years now, and I enjoy the work. The site is easy to navigate, and I can pick and choose any tasks I like. Makes it easy to earn extra cash when I have the time. The topics are really interesting as well, I often end up with new knowledge that I can use in my everyday life as well.

Now, the reason why I can give them a top score is the pay for one. Compared to competitors you get paid about half or a third, so you have to write a lot to make a decent salary. On the plus side there is bonus available, but only for writing a set amount of words. It would have been really nice if they also had a bonus for proofreading. The workload is also very spotty, ranging from several hundreds to none at all.

Another issue I have is with the constant new things, like account being frozen due to copy scape and now the whole deal with AI. I get why they have implemented it, because they offer original content, and using copy-paste and AI will not do that. It just sucks that those of us who do the work and provide original content gets "punished" because of other writes who take shortcuts and don't do the actual work.

But all in all a site I enjoy writing for, and hope will have more to offer in the future.

I accidentally signed up for this TopContent site. They say you can cancel but give NO WAY to cancel. There is no phone # or CS # or address. No way to even log onto the website. I will sic MasterCard on them if they charge my account............

I hope someone here can tell me how to cancel a membership with this company and avoid being charged. I signed up with them accidentally because I was directed to them while attempting to sign up for an online Learn2Type course. Now I cannot cancel because their phone number is bogus and there is no other way to contact them listed on their website. Please help!

I been writing for them for over a year and they just getting worst. I have top stars in all subjekts i work with and its content writer, translater and proofreader.And with all that i steal cant support my family on this job. Sometimes it takes several weeks before getting new tasks. I love the work so its s sad that they dont do better than that.

It's an easy site to get into as a writer, but hardly worth it. For people looking for an easy way to get into freelance writing there are better options.

First of all, the pay is very low. The only other "content mill" like this I have experience with doesn't pay a lot either, but even then TopContent pays about a half to a third of that one, and that's before taxes.

As if that wasn't enough, TopContent takes 8 euros as a fee when paying their writers, making the actual payment even lower. Even a small, symbolic fee would have annoyed me somewhat, but eight euros is absolutely ridiculous. You also need to make at least 48 euros (of which you get 40) before you get paid. So if you do start you'd better keep going until reaching that amount to get your peanuts for the work you've put in.

It's not necessarily the site's fault, but at least in my location the amount of available tasks is very inconsistent. Either there's a ton of them or none at all.

While it's good that you have 12 hours to complete a task, it's highly annoying that it'll drop on its own if you don't start writing in a set amount of time. I might have just missed it but I don't recall seeing any information about it until it happened. I guess the point is to keep people from taking jobs they don't intend to finish, but judging by the tasks that come up already "started" with nothing but random keysmashes it's not very effective because clearly people find their way around it.

For the good things: the page looks nice and is user friendly. The task board is easy to navigate with all available tasks collected and previews to see right away what they're about. There's also a lot of useful information available on the site, such as general writing tips, tips for writing different kinds of texts and so on.

Have used Top Content, since the name gave a false indication of them being "better" than other related content writers. In reality, they are worse. Top Content charge a way higher price than most competitors, their delivery time is close to 2 weeks for one article and their support is limited to answer between 9 AM and 5 PM. It takes them 5 days to proof read an article apparently. With such a long waiting time, the subjects are not so hot anymore and the high price is impossible to motivate.
