Thank you for your review. I would suggest you should be giving the person who told you that you can’t use it a 1* review! There is no rule currently as far as we are aware in the laws of the sport that prohibit the use of a metal measure. Many would say they are more accurate than the string ones as they don’t have the ability to pull or stretch on point of locking.
The item is made and supplied to us by a mainstream bowls equipment manufacturer.

Drakes Pride Astro Bowls…
I have just purchased the Drakes Pride Astro Bowls Shoes (white with a Grey heel). I am a regular foot size 8 but the reviews said to get a size bigger. I therefor ordered the size 9 which is the perfect fit all-round. They are very comfortable, light weighted, stylish, perfect for playing bowls. Definitely worthy of a 5 Star rating.
