Nightmare IT provider
I hesitated to leave this review, especially after receiving legal threats from Homerun's lawyers when I initially posted it. However, I believe it’s important to share my experience.
I briefly worked with this company following an internal security incident that affected one of their customers. They brought me in to secure their environment, and what I found was alarming. There was no MFA enforcement, no compliance policies, no antivirus policy, and no web security on critical application servers. Even more concerning, there were no backups configured for essential customer-hosted servers.
Despite resolving these critical issues, Homerun failed to pay my invoices, causing a significant financial setback. Instead, they sent me fraudulent invoices, adding insult to injury.
Homerun positions itself as an enterprise IT provider, yet lacks the in-house expertise and basic security practices necessary to fulfill that claim. Think carefully before engaging with this vendor.
