Definitely not recommending to use…

Definitely not recommending to use their service if you are planning. I have booked a transfer to airport 10 days prior to the departure and I have been charged the full amount and the status of the booking was confirmed. I have received a call from their support service 24 hours before the departure and they began to claim that the address that my card is registered on is not the same as the address I have booked a taxi on. First of all, a very poor service regarding your customers as receiving a call one day before the departure is inappropriate, especially when the payment was made 10 day before. Secondly, the story with the card absolutely does not make sense what so ever. The conclusion is that they do not care about your wasted money and time. Now I have to make another booking which is not cheap but definitely not dealing with them again.

Attractive prices but really appalling service. To be avoided!!!

Attractive prices but really bad service. To be avoided!!!! I've used this company a number of times and though I gave them the benefits of the doubt on a number of occasions I will never use them again. Issues including a driver telling us he has arrived at the airport whilst he clearly wasn't. He stated that he got the number of the terminal wrong whilst it was clearly stated on the booking but also he confirmed the right terminal to us as we landed. Last time a driver called us to tell he would pick us up an hour before scheduled pick-up time as there was major accident on the road. We checked on Waze, Google Maps and other websites and it indicated nothing at all but we thought we wouldn't take the risk but we clearly had to rush to get ready on time with the children. As expected traffic was very smooth but it turned out that the driver had in fact someone else to pick up at the airport hence why he wanted to be there earlie rbut obivosuly we had to spend 3 hours and 30 minutes at the airport without the opportunity to check-in luggage as it was way too early. Last but not least the last issue we had was Totally Driven getting a pick up wrong at the airport on the booking confirmation which we cancelled straight away on the basis we got told we would be refunded minus a service fee (though we called a minute after receiving the confirmation to amend and they would still charge £8 for that). It took more than a month and 8 phone calls to eventually got the refund. Whilst we were initially told that the refund was initiated but then there were some technical delays, it turned out to be a lie as we then got told they were questioning that we were due a refund at all despite a manager clearly telling us so when we decided to cancel. We are really understanding people but here there has been a big serie of wrongdoings and we we would never be using Totally Driven again.I was almost forgetting but their rating reviews on their website is totally flawed! We obviously put a bad review in line with our several bad experiences but it never made it to their review page and they are showing this incredible 98% satisfaction rate which is another big lie!

Absolutely rubbish service

Absolutely rubbish service. Its luck of the draw here. This company's call centre isn't even based in the UK. It's abroad in India. If you get a driver who's tardy then they can arrive as much as 1 hour late. For any journey you want to make where timing is of the essence, do NOT use totallydriven. My husband was left waiting almost an hour - We complained to customer service and they said sorry it wont happen again. Meanwhile they charge you if the driver has to wait for you!

You're at the mercy of random drivers who the customer service call centre don't even know and can't track.

This is an amazing Service

This is an amazing Service. They monitor the flight if you are to be picked up from the airport. Therefore they were on time. The car was really nice. Driver, Marius, was amazing. Very polite and hospital. Very smooth ride.
On top of that their prices are unbeatable. I paid £60 from Gatwick to London Greenwich.

Terrible service. Very unpleasant experience. Beware!!

I used this service Luton to London. The driver was not there to pick me up I had to call the company and then wait for him. Not what you want at the end of a long day travelling . When he did arrive he really rushed me as he had parked in the drop off car park ( rather than the short stay, which he should have used) which you are only allowed in for 10 minutes. He complained about the parking charges £3 ?? It's included in the taxi fare. It's unpleasant to be stuck in a car with someone who has s negative attitude. So I kept quiet and just snoozed most so the drive.

But this is what really was shocking. I can't believe what happened when we arrived at my home. I asked him to help me with my bag, it's not heavy but I've had back surgery. All I needed was to get it up some stairs. Which I explained. It would have taken him one minute, if that. He huffed and puffed. And told me it was not heavy , I explained 3 times I had back surgery it would only take a minute. He kept making excuses but not only that he was really rude about it. He dumped me in the street with my bag and said he cold not leave the car in the road so I asked him to pull it over. He then did pull over but just sat in his car car staring at me. It was very very unpleasant. I had to walk over to the car and ask again explaining again that I had back surgery. He started to argue with me. At this point I was nearly crying, he just drove off.

He dumped me in the street at 11.20 at night, on my own with no way to get my bag into my flat!!! But the way he behaved was just shocking. This man bullied me. All I did was ask for help, which should be provided any away. This ride cost me over £57. He drive off and left me in the road with my bag.
£57 for a truly horrible experience . I rang to complain . There is no manger there. I was told to complain on the Internet.
I have never used this company before for airport and I will not again . There are much better airport services in London. That are cheaper too. Very very upsetting !!!

Update, They replied see below and promised to contact me. I have had no contact from them. nothing!!!

When I got in that nightI actually wanted to call the police, the driver was so unpleasant, it was harassment, but I felt too scared too as he knew where I lived.

Beware, Beware, beware. are their drivers even CRB checked ? I ran my own company for many years, I employed freelancers, but they had a code of conduct to abide to and I would have instantly dismissed anyone who behaved in such a way.

In the response below, they claim they responded to me, where is the response?? i received no phone call, email or letter.

As mentioned in our previous direct correspondence.

Drivers are licensed by the PCO (Public Carriage Office), it is on the basis of this license that they are recruited. They are self-employed and work according to the rules and procedures that we detail, unfortunately on occasions they fail.

It is clear from your comments that this is one of those unfortunate occasions as I would like to assure you that the vast majority of drivers do provide a superior service.

Whereas we are unable to demand that drivers assist passengers with their luggage away from the vehicle, it is clearly detailed in our drivers service advisory guidelines that they should do so when they are able to do so, in fact the vast majority of drivers do indeed provide a superior service, in this instance after being privy to the knowledge of your operation I would say that basic decency would have dictated that he should have indeed assisted you with your luggage.

The driver has received a warning concerning his actions and I would like to thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

I would also personally like to apologise for the way your complaint has been handled and I have passed on your comments to our dispatch manager who will be speaking to the agent who you had initial contact with.

Once again please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

With the greatest of respect I must disagree with your statement . I have had no contact from them. nothing!!!

As a matter of fact our customer service team responded back to you on the same day of your complaint.

I would also like to reiterate that drivers are licenced by Transport For London and as a matter of course, as is the current requirement DBS checked.

Terrible Service.

I booked a vehicle for an Arrival from Kuwait at 1700 with pick up at 1830 on the 11th Sep. I made an error on the flight Number KU102 instead of 103. They totally disregarded the other information I have given on the order sent for a flight arrival at 0911 in the morning from New York.when I was expecting a Pickup at 1830 from Kuwait When they see contradicting information they should have checked with us.When we arrive they conveniently say that they dont have any vehicles in the area.Spend almost 50 pounds taking a Taxi round & round Hyde Park.on the 15/9 a mail is received they are investigating & on the 16th it is successfull that they will crediting my account for refund of STG37/-. Instead they have debited my Account twice for STG 37/-,& the site says the matter is closed when I am yet to receive refund & a reverse to my Account.

Nice and cheap service!

I have been informed from a friend travelling very often to London about the totallydriven service.

I used totallydriven service at my last visit to London with my wife and son, with a lot of baggage. The very polite driver was waiting for me on time and drove me to Waterloo station area with only 48GBP (cheaper than using the train).
I departed on 28th of September at 04.00 (two persons with no baggage with 31GBP). The polite driver came on time and drove us to Heathrow.

Very nice and cheap service! I recommend it with no hesitation.

Excellent

Very good service - easy to book, car turned up absolutely on time, good and polite driver. I had no idea which website to choose to book my taxi to the airport, but am very glad I chose Totally Driven.

I have been using totallydriven since past 2 year for pick-up and drop from London airport. I am quite pleased with their service: easy to do web booking, very competitive price, always on time and courteous drivers. Very reliable! I will highly recommend!

Great Service

The driver turned up on time, got me to where I needed to be even though there was a lot of traffic as we were travelling on one of the tube strike days. I'd definitely use again and will be recommending to friends and colleagues. Quick, efficient and friendly service.

Very good service!

I book cabs with Totally Drivien within last 5 years. Reasonable price and good service. Recently cabs were BMW 7 with a nice drivers.

Totally Driven Irresponsibility

We contracted with Totally Driven for transport from our London hotel in Kensington to Harwich in order to board our cruise ship. The trip was horrible.
1. The driver was late – evidently he was parked up the street from the hotel and the hotel’s concierge noticed him sitting in his unmarked cab.
2. During our trip through London and on the A12, he was constantly on his mobile phone (it is illegal to be on a hand’s free phone while driving in England)
3. He put both my wife and me in danger by suddenly pulling off to the shoulder of the A12 highway, backing up for at least 200 yards and then taking the ramp to some side road. He said that he missed the turn.
4. Once off the A12 he was completely lost and we had to insist that he pull over for directions. This happened three times.
5. The only GPS he had was on his cell phone (which frequently had no signal) and because he had to look up directions on it made for an even more dangerous ride.

During our cruise, we responded to a Totally Driven questionnaire regarding our experience with their service. In a series of emails we advised them of the above experience and indicated that we felt Totally Driven was responsible, and we should receive some sort of compensation. Their response was:

Drivers and vehicles are licensed by Transport for London’s Public Carriage Office. It is on the basis of these licenses that they are recruited. They are self employed and work according to the rules and procedures that we detail, sometimes however they fail to follow those guidelines.

An investigation into this order has been initiated, and the driver has been summoned to the office to explain his actions.

In a sub subsequent email they offered us a £20.00 credit for future rides with their company (as if we would ever take a chance with them again!)

We believe that Totally Driven is responsible for the actions of their drivers and warn fellow travelers not to deal with this irresponsible and uncaring company.

Totally won over by Totallydriven

I used the services of Totallydriven for transfer from Gatwick Airport to Central London and the return journey a few days later. There was four of us with cases. Such a brilliant service. Driver was ahead of time on both occasions. They were polite yet not too chatty. The estimated journey time was spot on. The cars were clean and sufficiently spacious. The price was less than the train would have cosyt for four of us and the convenience was something else. Will certainly be using them again. Great service

First Class Service !!!

I have used Totally Driven a couple of times and cannot fault this superb service.
Courteous, Helpful, Prompt Drivers and a price that seems to good to be true.
I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This service is very comfortable for a fair price

I had two 23 kg suitcases as I was going back to Italy for all the summer and going to the airport by bus or train would have been a nightmare! the price was fair so I arrived to the airport very relaxed!
I often use totallydriven and the cars and the service is always impeccable
