An excellent course which I think everyone should do! Helped my son who is dyslexic hugely and his speed and importantly accuracy is significantly improved. An accessible course in bite size pieces so perfect for short attention spans for my teenager

My 14 year old daughter really enjoyed the course. The regular feedback was helpful and also an incentive to practice regularly! Working the typing into her daily routine meant that she made good progress very quickly. Mahima her tutor was very positive with both her comments and guidance for the week ahead. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this course to others

Great course for a reluctant 15 year old. It was easy for him to access and work through and his teacher, Sharon, provided excellent support. He has improved hugely in his typing and even said he enjoyed it!

I think the teaching method of covering the keyboard is a great one. instinctively we look down to type and this helps to control finger placement and ensure a greater level off accuracy.
Good weekly feedback, comprehensive comments too.

It’s an easy to follow program. My 11 years old son was able to learn touch typing up to the speed of 43 over the 10 weeks course.

I have to say I have been very impressed, both by the course itself and by the support throughout the lessons. Wendy provided detailed and speedy feedback, and everything exceeded my expectations. Definitely the best way to learn touch typing.

Very encouraging tutor and well organised course. Weekly feedback was always timely and my daughter’s typing accuracy and speed improved over the 3months. Most importantly she can now ‘touch type’ ie:type without looking at her hands which will benefit her school work and be a valuable skill for the future.

We were looking for a skills activity for my daughter to do for her Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award and came across Touch Type IT after doing a web search. We found a course especially catered for this on their website, which consisted of a 12 week course providing weekly feedback. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We would recommend this course for anyone needing a skill for Duke of Edinburgh or for learning a life skill in general.

The Tutors weekly positivity and encouragement has really helped my child stick at it and get the results they wanted to achieve. The programme was adapted to his school schedule so we could pause for exam time and start up again a week later. When he came up against a tricky week they offered a video call to give him live feedback as he typed and that positive experience really helped him get back on track.

I have recommended this course to parents of his peer group. I also recommended it to the school as they are introducing laptops to older year groups and this would be a great start to their journey.

Excellent programme for my 12 year old, who has dyspraxia, dysgraphia and ADHD. He had tried 3 other well-know typing programmes before, and it just never gelled. Touch Type It was recommended to us by another parent, and he has gone from 7wpm to 36wpm! The key features include initial zoom sessions, weekly tailored feeback, and a very interactive and flexible programme. Wendy was great at helping us figure out which course to do, and provided lessons each week that were specifically tailored to his needs - all while maintaining a fun and friendly vibe! Highly recommended.

As a 61yr old semi retired midwife, the days of writing handwritten notes is going to be a thing of the past. Recently the trust I work for went digital. I had tried free courses in the past but didn’t learn very much. I saw the sign for ‘Type It’ while out walking one day and the rest is history. Sharon was my personal tutor who was amazing and was at the end of an email throughout. I got weekly lessons & feedback on what I was doing well & where I could improve. This was a big challenge for someone of my age, but the program is so well designed and the support is excellent, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

After seeing my 12 year old son hammering away at a keyboard I decided to find a touch typing course for him. I was taught Pitman typing many years ago and upon reviewing various options I decided that Type It! looked more age appropriate and fun. The course fitted easily into his weekly timetable.
The teacher and coordinator were both amazing. I had a couple of timing issues (my fault entirely) and they were very helpful and accommodating.
Would definitely recommend.
