Book at Your Own Risk - Paid in Full — Then Canceled

We booked an Ireland group tour through TourHub eight months in advance, specifically choosing it because the itinerary listed named downtown hotels. TourHub required a $700 non-refundable deposit immediately to “confirm” our seats. Months later, the hotels were changed without asking to properties outside the city centers with no explanation — even though the original hotels were still bookable. Communication was poor throughout.

Four months before departure, TourHub demanded full payment. Then, three months before the tour was scheduled to begin — after we had booked flights based on their confirmation — they canceled the tour entirely.

Requiring large upfront payments, making material changes to the product, then canceling months before departure demonstrates extremely poor business practices and a complete disregard for customers’ planning and financial commitments.

Travelers should be very cautious before booking through TourHub. Confirmed does not appear to mean confirmed.

We are incredibly sorry for the frustration and disappointment this cancellation caused. After eight months of planning, we know how upsetting it is to have your original plans fall through so close to your departure.

While we work closely with our partners like Costsaver to provide these tours, the experience you had with the late cancellation and hotel changes is not what we want for our travelers. We know that Costsaver did try to resolve this by offering alternative dates or moves to their other brands, but we completely understand that these options didn't fit your existing flights or budget.

When we reached out to see if we could help save your travel dates with a different itinerary, we understand you had already decided to organise your own trip and accommodation. We have now processed a full refund of all your payments, including your deposit, which has been forwarded to you.

The agents at TourHub were great! They responded to my questions quickly. If they didn't know the answer or I was looking to customize my trip they checked with the tour company and quickly responded. The agent I spoke with was friendly, wasn't rushed, and knowledgeable.

Nothing is left to chance!

All the possible help and information was provided regarding my forthcoming trip, via the online presence and follow up emails. Their customer service has been second to none.
Everything is laid out well on the website, and is extremely user friendly.
I normally travel solo, but after a lot of research I decided to try this kind of experience.
If the trip is as good as the booking process, then It will be really good, I'm sure.
