We love this sweet man: Salvatore Maurano!❤️❤️❤️On Monday September 18th, the Imperial Hotel Tramontano hired “Touring Italy” with Salvatore to drive three of us to Amalfi and Positano for a day along the Amalfi Coast. Not only did Salvatore safely drive us along those infamous hairpin turns and share his knowledge (in English) of the sights and historic towns, he showed his compassion when Laura became car sick. Salvatore immediately pulled over and raced around our Mercedes luxury minivan to help Laura out of the vehicle and to comfort her as she had the dry heaves. Salvatore did not drive further until Laura felt a little better. Salvatore also recommended a popular Positano restaurant (Chez Black) where we enjoyed a memorable lunch at the beach. We highly recommend Salvatore as he proved to be a driver who is careful, clearly skilled, knowledgeable, a very good communicator, and compassionate. Five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️for Salvatore!

Anna Maria is a very thorough and knowledgeable guide. She is very well spoken in English and has great insights to the areas we went to. Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Roberto and Touring Italy enough! He created a trip beyond our expectations. He took all of the stress out of planning and scheduling, but more importantly he connected us with the best guides in all of Italy. It was incredible to learn about the history, culture, and food though a local and an expert. Each perfectly personalized everything, and kept our girls well engaged.

In Florence, Elena was fantastic. She knew so much, so many people and would take us into little shops to meet a local artisan who was so special because of their craft. She immersed us into the Florentine culture, something we never would have been able to do without her. I think she’s a celebrity too, because everyone seemed to know her and love her 😊. She was beyond fantastic at guiding us through the Accademia, Pitti, Boboli gardens, Uffizi and the walk through the city to taste all of the amazing food. We even went back to the lunch restaurant for dinner because it was so good. Thanks to you, we were so fortunate to have her as our guide!

Our driver though Tuscany, Maximiliano, was also fantastic, he was very professional, guided us through the beautiful countryside and explained the history of the towns and buildings. He stopped for perfect photo opportunities and also made good recommendations for gelato and shops.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tenuta Torciano. Their wines were fantastic as well as the food. It’s a beautiful winery and Luca was the perfect host. Not only did we do the tasting, he brought additional wines to sample and spent time with us, we felt like special guests.

In Rome, we enjoyed our time with Elena, learning about the Forum, Palatine Hill and Colosseum. She was also knowledgeable and was able to connect the past with the current time by showing us ruins and then pictures of how it might have looked before.

And lastly, Christiaan was phenomenal as well. We learned about the history, art and architecture. It was so so crowded and he navigated us well, taking us to the most significant places and best views of everything including the Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basillica. Like Elena in Florence he was an expert in everything, explaining things through stories. Even my youngest who doesn’t love museums enjoyed his and her tours.

I cannot thank Roberto enough for creating this experience and new family memories. We will always cherish this trip - especially the time with Elena and Christiaan. I will absolutely recommend Touring Italy to anyone traveling to Italy. We are hoping to travel to Southern Italy in the future, and will absolutely us Roberto when time to plan!

Just returned from the trip if a lifetime which was perfect thanks to Roberto and Touring Italy! This was our first time in Europe and Roberto handled everything with the best results! We saw so much in a short time and every tour was with a very knowledgeable guide who were local to the area they brought us to. Not only did we see the main attractions but were able to learn and see many local places we would never have known about. Everyone was professional, courteous and timely. We cannot wait to plan our next trip to Italy and will only go if Roberto makes the arrangements. Thank you Touring Italy for a wonderful adventure!

Excellent service , day trip today for 4 of us with a private driver from sorrento to Monte cassino . Would definitely recommend using this company. We booked it in the Uk prior to travel and weren’t disappointed .

We recently used Roberto and Touring Italy on our trip to Rome and the Amalfi Coast. Roberto was recommended by friends and he did not disappoint. He coordinated our pick up in Rome, drive down and back from Positano and stops in both Pompeii and Naples. His communication both before and during our trip was top notch and extremely responsive. The stops we made along our drives were wonderful- we had one of the best meals ever with a wine tasting and sweeping views of the Napoli Bay on our way to Positano. Our driver Antonio was lovely. I highly recommend Roberto and a Touring Italy.

Roberto from Touring Italy took great care of me and my friends. The colosseum and Vatican tours were incredibly good. Our tour guide was phenomenal she knew Her history and did her job well. I will recommend this company to all my friends visiting Italy.

My young daughter and I wanted to go to the Amalfi Coast for a few days, round trip from Rome with a stopover at Pompei. Roberto and Andrea made our travels so seamless, comfortable and safe. We highly recommend Touring Italy! We first met Roberto in 2018 when we were in Italy on a cruise, he was our guide for a tour of Positano and Sorrento from the port of Naples. We saved his business card and when we were planning our return to Italy we knew we had to call on him. Roberto’s professionalism is only eclipsed by his warmth and kindness. We hired Touring Italy for a private transfer from Rome to Sorrento, but wanted to also make some stops along the way. The owner, Roberto, arranged for us to have a private tour of Pompeii, lunch and wine tasting at a winery in Mt. Vesuvius, and a drive along the Amalfi Coast with a stop in Positano all before bringing us to our hotel in Sorrento. Our driver, Andrea, was amazing! Not only was he prompt and courteous, he was also funny, helpful, and engaging during the entire trip. It has been almost a month since our drive with Andrea, and my family and I are still talking about how much more fun he made that day. The private tour and wine tasting were also highlights of our trip. Roberto did an excellent job of arranging everything for this day, and it was a stress free way to move from one hotel to another while also creating many memories along the way. I highly recommend Touring Italy!

Highly highly recommended! Roberto is wonderful, very responsive, and the two drivers we had, Andrea and Adriano, were both awesome. 5 Star service all around! Will definitely use Touring Italy again and again.

Wow wow wowwwww i honestly have no words
other than i will be using him again because Roberto D' Alessandro, touring Italy went above and beyond! My family and I including two small kids ages 5 & 8 were at "WOW" with how fantastic he plan our tour here. We told him what we were interested in doing/seeing and so much more he made it happen! From touring Roma , Pompeii, to Capri Island and back and forth to Napoli, and one unbelievable wine tasting/lunch time. Thank you to all the awesome private drivers Gianni,Andrea and tour guide Ms.Melania (kids loved her), Chris and Manuela(kids love them too ) they were nothing but FABULOUS,CARING, PATIENT AND OUTSTANDING, their knowledge of all the history is unbelievable! We booked a small group tour along the coast of Almalfi, Sorrento and Positano. There were six of us in a very comfortable van driven by Roberto D'Alessandro. It was nothing but fantastic. His English is very good and his knowledge of the area was exceptional. We have seen many wonderful places along the coast and Positano has become our favorite Italian village. We highly recommend booking a tour with Roberto, he is the BEST tour guide we had on the whole 21 day trip.

My husband and I were recently on the Cruise Ship Nautical and had a stop in Livorno. We booked a private Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Tour with Roberto .

We found Roberto to be very pleasant, knowledgeable and an excellent guide and we loved our private tour on the Amalfi Coast. The weather did not cooperate that day but Roberto made the best of the tour and we had such an enjoyable day with him. He was very enthusiastic despite bad driving conditions on the Amalfi Coast and we would look him up for a tour when we come back to this area.
We highly recommend this tour and this driver.
