Adapter for a 12N 7 pin socket on the vehicle to an ISO 13 pin Euro connector on the trailer. A 7 pin to 13 pin adaptor is used when you have a towbar fitted with 7 pin electrics but need to use a cycle carrier or a caravan that has a 13 pin power plug. Please note that this will provide road light functions only. It won't provide power to the reverse light, or any charging functions on a caravan as they are not included in the 7 pin socket on your car.

I ordered this along with the tow bar and vehicle-specific 7 pin wiring loom from Tow Bar Express. When fitment of the tow bar was complete, the plastic protrusion on this adapter fouled against the spring-loaded flap on the car socket and wouldn't fit. Fortunately, in his van, the helpful tow bar fitter had an apparently pre-used adapter with a different body profile, so he exchanged it for the one that didn't fit. Maybe the marketing description should include advice on which type of 7 pin socket is fitted to the car to ensure compatibility.

Great product that is easy to use so I can go from 13 pin to 7 pin and use my bike carrier.
Had 13 pin electrics fitted but needed the option to tow a 7 pin product. Adapter supplied at time of towbar fitting that simply twists into the 13 pin socket to make a 7 pin fitment. Everything works great. Thoroughly satisfied.
Some adapters can be loose fitting but this is great.
