Traccia is an OpenTelemetry-native observability, governance, and policy enforcement platform for production AI agents. It gives engineering teams complete visibility into every LLM call, tool invocation, decision, token, and dollar spent across frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK, AutoGen, and LlamaIndex. Beyond tracing, Traccia helps organizations govern AI systems with runtime policies that can detect and block unsafe behavior, runaway costs, restricted model usage, and PII exposure before incidents reach production. Accurate cost attribution, agent health monitoring, a unified agent registry, and EU AI Act evidence generation make it suitable for enterprise deployments. With a lightweight open-source SDK and managed platform, Traccia enables teams to build, debug, monitor, and govern AI agents at scale without vendor lock-in, using standard OpenTelemetry instrumentation.

*Best AI Agent Observability & Governance Platform We've Used*

Traccia has become an essential part of our AI stack. The tracing is detailed, the dashboards are easy to navigate, and the governance capabilities give us confidence to deploy AI agents in production. Instead of guessing why an agent behaved a certain way, we can quickly understand, debug, and improve it. If you're building production-grade AI agents, Traccia is absolutely worth evaluating.

Building trust in AI through observability and governance

The widespread deployment of LLMs and AI agents has made observability a fundamental requirement for production AI. Moreover, beyond tracking various attributes of AI interactions, such as costs, latency, and agent behaviour, organisations must also address the growing challenges of AI governance and regulatory compliance. Yet there remains a lack of clarity about how these requirements translate into practical implementation. I have been using several AI observability platforms (e. g., Langfuse, LangSmith, Arize) for a long time, and after using Tarccia for the last month, it has become my favorite. Its easy implementation and capability for end-to-end observability, runtime governance, and policy enforcement for AI agents have made it easy for me to monitor costs, traces, and governance compliance from a single dashboard. Traccia also includes AI governance and audit-readiness features that can help organisations manage production AI systems more effectively. Traccia clearly stands out as a promising solution for building reliable, governance-compliant and production-ready AI applications.

Best solution for governance and observability of multi agent systems

I’ve been working with complex multi-agent systems for a while now, and for a long time, I relied on Langfuse. While Langfuse is a solid entry point, I eventually hit a wall. As my systems scaled from simple chains to complex, multi-tenant agentic workflows it was difficult to keep track of things at agent level. This is where Traccia really drives it home. The governance via policy is a big bonus for enterprise AI agents. I hear they have now native tracing for Claude code, can’t wait to try it out and share updated review.
