DO NOT APPLY FOR FTMO

DO NOT APPLY FOR FTMO. After I passed both phases to a 200k account, I also received the graduation certificate, then the ftmo team responded very negatively, blocked my profile, blocked my account, for no reason, they also blocked my access to the previous phases so that I would not have proof that I successfully passed both phases. Ftmo started to get worse and worse and from a serious company it ended up committing fraud, what I want is to at least refund my money back

FTMO

FTMO – Stay Away, They Will Deny Your Payout!

I want to warn everyone about FTMO. My experience with them has been nothing short of exhausting, frustrating, and frankly, disrespectful. I went through their evaluation process, passed the challenge, and was about to get my live account – until they decided to change the rules after I succeeded. They called my genuine trading strategy "gambling", and told me that to proceed with a live account, I would need to start trading with 1% of my account per trade. They made it clear that any breach of this 1% rule would result in a breach of my account, which is absolutely NOT what I paid for.

If FTMO claims they have the best interest of traders at heart, then why treat successful traders like this? If other traders aren't receiving the same treatment, there's no reason for them to treat some traders unfairly. The truth is, these rules are not displayed on their website because they know if they were, no one would trade with them. FTMO used to be fair and reputable, but now they are just another company that hides rules, disrespects traders, and makes it impossible to succeed without arbitrary hurdles.

I've been going back and forth with Adnan Kingston from the Trading Department for over 7 days which any full time trader knows how devastating that is. I explicitly asked for a list of 10 distinct pairs I could trade, and Adnan refused to provide me with that list. The reason I asked for these pairs is because I needed to understand exactly which markets I could safely trade without breaching FTMO's ambiguous rules. But Adnan’s responses were vague and confusing, and it was clear he was trying to conceal as much as he could. They simply didn’t want to be transparent, and they called me trying to understand the rules to avoid breaching them an attempt to "bypass the rules". This is when the red flags really went up. Using fancy words like "Modus Operandi" just to sound knowledgeable and throw off a trader is exactly what you’d expect from someone with no intention of offering clarity. Telling a trader how to trade while hiding the actual rules is ridiculous.

Now, FTMO wants me to trade real money with a strategy they’ve practically forced me to come up with on the spot. No backtesting, no proof, no data – just a random strategy to get me by. Does that sound smart to you? They’re sending traders into unfamiliar territory and telling them to trade real money without providing any support, data, or a clear path. It's as though they want you to fail.

I have only failed one challenge with FTMO, and there were no concerns about my trading. Not a single issue was raised during my first attempt. But the moment I succeeded, suddenly they started creating all these new restrictions and hoops to jump through. The moment you pass, you’re no longer a valued client – you’re a target for the next problem they can throw your way.

FTMO's intention is clear: they make money through your failed challenges, and for those who pass, their vague and confusing rules will be the next hurdle. They’ll find some rule you didn’t know about, some fine print, to deny your payout. I’m lucky enough that I encountered this before getting to a payout, because if I had reached that point, I would have been even more upset. Frankly, I feel bad for those who got that far and were played by FTMO’s lack of transparency.

I’ve been completely disrespected as a trader, and I’ve received no help or justice from them. If you’re considering FTMO, stay away. They are not worth your time or money. I’ve learned the hard way, and now, I’m sharing my experience to warn others. FTMO is just out to take your money, and they’ll look for any reason to deny your payout or reject your live account once you pass their challenge.

They don't have your best interest at heart – only their own.

If you're looking for a good prop firm. Heres a list in heirarchichal order Best to... last best haven't had an issue with them. E8, FXIFY, My Funded FX which I believe is now SeaCrest Funded, and Blue Guardian.

I have verified withdraws from E8 and FXIFY and live certificates from the other two as proof of credentials.

Now on to my next complain. FundedNext. Stay away from them too. You'll see my review there as well. Going there as soon as I submit this.
