The process for ordering was fantastic and David was an amazing help! An asset to the Trading Doors team. We were able to select the best dates for delivery and it came when it said it would.

The doors themselves are fantastic, really good quality and look amazing in my house - just need to do the second coat of paint but even without it they look honestly great! We also bought a handle package which was amazing! Streamlined the process instead of having to buy hinges, latches, locks etc. all separately!

Overall I was really impressed with my order and I would highly recommend trading doors to friends and family!

I would like to tell you about my adventure with Trading Doors company.
I placed an order for a bespoke door on November 7, 2022 with delivery in 10-12 weeks with measurements 1890mmx800x35 for a cost of 274.50£ compared to the 58£ for a non bespoke door.
The door arrived after 16 weeks thanks to constant reminders and the request to cancel the order due to the accumulated delays.
The door arrived with a crack in one corner and a number of scratches and dents.
I wrote an email and Trading Doors offered me a 30% refund for the damage: I accepted the refund because I didn't intend to wait another 16 weeks for a door.
While repairing the door, the carpenter points out to me that the core of the door is wood (perhaps pine) while the external part is pressed cardboard or MDF 5mm: imagine what happens if a little water gets on the door, the cardboard swells and the door is throw away.
Also, the division between the upper and lower panels is wrong. The lock must be positioned 78cm from the ground to prevent the door from being out of sync: generally, it is positioned between 87-90cm.
Imagine if I ordered a 1700mm high door I would have had to install the lock almost on the ground and open with my feet.
I sent all these demonstrations to Trading Doors, but they are convinced that the door is well made and they won't listen to any reason.
In addition, they told me (reported from their mail “The lock block side of the door will be indicated by a lock stamp on top of the door, the lock block is 880mm from the top of the door to the top of the lock block then the lock block is 360mm going down the door”. This means that there is one side dedicated to the lock and I must install it only in these position.
In any case the customer service is poor, after 2 or 3 mails they never answer me.
If I had known the result I would have turned to real professionals: Trading Doors provides very poor-quality items.
Now I have to put the door in the rubbish and buy a new one from a real door professional.
