We’re really pleased to hear that the Level 3 Introduction to Train Driving course helped give you a clearer understanding of the daily requirements of the role and how your Armed Forces experience can be applied to train driver recruitment.

A lot of service leavers already have strong examples of discipline, communication, situational awareness, following procedures and working safely under pressure. The key is being able to recognise those examples and present them clearly against the Non-Technical Skills that Train Operating Companies look for in applications, CVs and criteria-based interviews.
