You purchase the card and it takes away purchase price. You pay something and it ALSO takes away money. Never again and wouldn't recommend.
I signed up months ago. Told start up date would be in November. Here it is December and still NOTHING. They didn't waste any time deducting the $25 from my bank though. Lucky I only lost $25. Don't waste your money or your time on this company.
They always notified me of fraudulent activity on my account this time they allowed 20 different transactions to be approved before they said they couldn't help me until they were approved totally eleven hundred dollars without any notice from them
Transact by 711 is a reloadable debit card that you can purchase from their 711 store. You buy the card for $2. Then you can add money to the card.
To reload the card, it's $5. You can also call the hotline and order a card with your name on it.
However, every time you use the card, Transact will charge you up to $5 in fees.
By the time you're done shopping or buying something, all of your money is gone.
Swiped it to buy gas? $4 fee charge. Swiped it to buy a candy bar? $1 fee charge. Paid a bill? $3 fee charge. They will nickel and dime you all the way to the bank.
