Terrible Istanbul airport transfer
I booked a return transfer from Istanbul airport using the transfelo.com website and it was very expensive at over 50 euro per transfer for a 15 minute drive. I was expecting at the very least that the driver would be on time or no more than ten minutes late for that price. Instead we had to wait FORTY minutes for the transfer from the airport at a time where we were exhausted as it was after midnight. The wait at the airport was also terrible at a chaotic spot outside the airport that reeked of cigarettes.
After this terrible transfer I told the guy I’d been messaging about the transfers on WhatsApp that we couldn’t afford for the return transfer to the airport to be late so please ensure a driver is assigned and comes at midday sharp. He confirmed a driver was assigned and would arrive at midday yet the driver was half an hour late. Nobody should book this scam rip off service. You’d be better off getting a taxi from the airport.
