Transunion are useless
Transunion are useless, any thing that changes in owing more is quickly added, anything which as been paid off or vastly reduced what you owe take these useless numb nuts months to sort out. Making peoples credit rating look far worse that it actually is.

I spoke to someone called Brian, who, clearly was reading back to me from a script that had little bearing on my issue He repeated the exact script over and over. It was so robotic, so out of touch, so unhelpful I hung up.

Unfortunately, we are not able to make a choice. TransUnion collects our data and sadly in my case incorrect data is presented in my report.
I have been trying to fix this for the last two months. I have been asked to provide my address history three times already and sent it three times. Apparently nothing can be done to fix the current situation.

Credit reference agencies have access to personal information for which it is hard to find explicit consent. Attempting to get incorrect or misleading information corrected is extremely difficult and time consuming. Access to a single point of human contact is frustrating and difficult to achieve. Any attempt to try and correct information is fraught with difficulty. Communication with a human person seems to be actively discouraged. As an individual these agencies are difficult with whom to deal, but may have a major impact on your mental and physical well being.
Ignoring electrical registration
I had been regustered on the Electoral Register since February and records have not been updated unfortunately this means I can not take out a loan or overdraft. My mortgage is also with them. I want to move and this is causing me problems. I forwarded a letter from my council as confirmation and I sent a photograph of my letter proving I am registered. I am on other credit reference agencies as being on the Electoral Register.

Beyond useless
Beyond useless.
I raised an issue re my address in June 2025, they could not comprehend the issue so closed the ticket. THEY have then contacted me in relation to this in April 2026, the email does not specify what they are referring to as ‘outstanding’. I have asked for clarity multiple times now and the useless customer service rep’s cannot comprehend the query.

I enquired about the reason my credit cards were not listed or shown in my credit score and within a couple of days I received the reply giving a clear and concise answer. I am very pleased with the outcome.
