Ruined car panels

I bought a dog guard, divider and gate second hand but in excellent condition and was initially very impressed by the build quality. Unfortunately after some time on removing the guard for some work to the car, I noticed that the rubber balls at the end of the arms (that have to be tightened at each side for a snug fit) have left two significant indentations in the car plastic panels that will be impossible to eradicate. If I'd known it was going to do this I would have placed something rigid underneath to protect the panels.
Also the gate leaves a large space to the side which my smallish dog just slips round - good job she stays put while I open the tailgate!

Lexus NX 2022 onward

I have previously had dog guards from Travall. Unfortunately they don’t make one for the Lexus NX 22 onward I have just ordered . That’s very disappointing as it’s a popular car and has been on sale since 2022. So plenty of time to make one!

Absolutely unsatisfactory

Absolutely unsatisfactory. I have been communicating with an AI for five emails now. In my opinion, the partition grille that was delivered to me has a design flaw, as it cannot be secured upwards against the headliner because no corresponding screw is provided there. The partition grille slides back and forth even with slight contact. Completely unusable.

:-(( VERRY BAD !!! BIG BULLSHIT
I have paid extra 39SFR (about 44€) fees for the 2 Day delivery to Switzerland.
Rest of eEurope, shipping is free !
The product arrives to late after one week :-(
Then there were missing two screws for mounting:-(
When you install the product it is fixed. If you want to stransport bigger items, like winter tires, you have to deinstall everything with all srews.
The long screws for tension-fixing are to long and making noise when you are driving. You have to cut them.
Then the TOTAL KNOCK-OUT: I recieved two extra bills from the shipping company DPD who delivered one week to late of about 80,-SFR (about 90,-€) for Shipping, Handling, TAXES, etc.
Despite it the Extra-Swiss Handling Fee of 39SFR.
If you use the devider, for luggage or two dogs. It is not adjustable. You can only position it in the middle. We have a big dog and a medium dog. So you have to bild something by your own....Drill holes go to a locksmith.
Now i have paid next to 500,-€ so this should be a premium product....But far away !!
To all this I have opened a case at Customer Service at Trav-All.
The answer: "They are not responsible"

Poorer Quality

I have had various items from Travall over the years and found them excellent in quality and manufacture.
I have just bought a boot liner for my latest car and found it is of a lesser quality, it will not lay flat and is inferior to previous ones I have bought.
I contacted Travall with my concerns but from replies given they were not interested.

This was the seventh dog guard from…

This was the seventh dog guard from Travall. All the others fitted first time and allowed the parcel shelf to still be in place. Latest guard for a new model Karoq was fitted but would not let parcel shelf be fitted into place. Spoke to customer service who said same guard for 2017 model should fit new model. This was not the case. Asked if I would refit the guard and send photos to show what was going on. I said no and asked for a refund. To add insult to injury the return cost (£14.22) was, I was told, at my expense. Not a happy bunny!!

Bad experience

I put my car registration into the website and ordered a bumper protector that said it was a match. Turns out it not! And to return it I have to pay the return costs. Very disappointing!!

Guard great, divider and gate not fit for purpose

Dog guard and divider are great. But there is a gap sufficient for the dog to get from one side to another and the gate is a serious let down. It leaves a 10cm gap so that my dog can get out, and most concerning, when the boot is shut, which could lead to crippling accident on breaking. Also, the gate is not secure when up, wobbling and needing to balance on the car side at an angle, making things very difficult with a wriggly dog, in fact, care is needed not to drop on dogs head

Poor service

Product arrived in good time. Appearance was nice but Adhesive supplied was of poor quality and condition.Despite following all instruction product unattached on one side within 24 hours. Customer service refuse to accept this as an a product default despite their obligations as a retailer.

Pros and cons

Products prove to be good, but it is a recent purchase, so I can not vouch for standing the test of time.
Negative and very important: for a purchase of 391.48 Fr, I had to pay a total of 146.14 Fr in delivery taxes, out of which 39.99 Fr to Travall, the rest to DPD for delivering in Switzerland. I will not order again because of this and because on the Travall site they do not mention that additional costs might occur. They just mention their 39.99 for delivering to Switzerland, which I see as disinformation.

Wrong product sent

I ordered the Land Rover Range Rover Sport Dog Guard (2022 -). However, I received a boot divider instead... I asked for an exchange. After they arranged the collection of the boot divider, I got a refund, which meant I had to place an order again for the item I originally ordered.

Dog Guard for Subaru stops rear seatbelts from working.

The Dog Guard for my Subaru makes the rear seatbelts unsafe.
The feet that support the grate rest on the cover for the seatbelt as it retracts and the pressure stops the mechanism from retracting.
I purchased the model from travall for my make/year and version. After contacting them they were dismissive and said that the passengers where using the seatbelt incorrectly.

I had a bad experience with this…

I had a bad experience with this company where they shipped me two things and states that there were two orders, but I only ordered one

One of them was from an email address that I’ve never even heard of

My card got charged twice and when I asked for a return shipping label something very simple. They refused and are now refusing to give me a refund. I feel scammed and wanted others to know.

Not fit for purpose

Spent over £700 on boot guard,divider with doors to transport my dogs safely in boot of my hyundai. I rang travail first and was advised there would be enough room for both dogs in my make of vehicle.
Paid someone £80 to fit the complicated system in my car boot.
Total waste of money. System rattled while driving and the doors fell off!! Also not suitable for 2 big dogs. They were cramped and unable to lie down properly to get comfortable. Dogs hated the rattling. Not fit for purpose.
This expensive system is now gathering dust in a cupboard! Travail won't refund me. DO NOT BUY. Cheap expensive and waste of money
