Safari experts & storytellers. Since 1991. We craft experiential African safaris just for you, with love. Our crew of passionate safari experts have lived and worked in Africa for most of their lives. Travel in Africa is about knowing what, when and where to go and with whom – for the ultimate safari experience. A few weeks too early/late or a few kilometres off course, and you could miss the Greatest Show on Earth. And wouldn’t that be a pity? We also publish inspirational, factual conservation articles. We believe storytelling plays a pivotal role in education and in creating a more responsible future of travel within the conservation landscape. We seek to minimise the negative environmental and social impacts of travel while maximising its positive impacts. These articles keep our readers informed and inspired to join us in celebrating Africa and doing good. Over sixteen million people in the last decade have read our stories that reflect the complexity and reality of life at ground level here in Africa. And, we generate significant donations for selected conservation projects that deliver impact at the ground level. We choose each project carefully based on our assessment of its contribution to biodiversity and rural people living amongst wildlife.

I made contact with Christian at Africa Geographic with specific places in mind. Laikipia and Amboseli hoping to have a sighting
of a tusker. Christian put a package together also visiting Meru National Park.
The organisation of meet and greet, flights and accommodation was seamless. I highly recommend AG for travel in Africa

Mashatu Tented Camp was exactly what my soul needed. Remote ,small, not too many people. Only canvas between me and nature, yet comfortable. Every night I heard hyenas, jackals and at times lions calling. I knew I was truly in the wild. I saw leopards, lions, cheetahs, loads of elephants and so much more. I could not have asked for more. The guides had amazing bush skills, the staff was very accomodating, other guests in camp great company for a solo traveller. My trip was unforgettable and a huge thank you goes to Christian Boix and the Africa Geographic team for a very well organized trip.

AG recently arranged a trip for my two adult kids and myself to the Kafue NP and Busanga Plains. We stayed in the Musekese and Ntemwa Busanga Camps, owned and run by Classic Zambia. Our trip was a delight in all aspects. The local charter flights were very good, and ground arrangements flawless. Both camps are beautifully sited, comfortable and very well run. All staff are so friendly and our two guides, JohnD and Lecson, excellent. A bonus was the quality of the food. Liuwa Plains next objective!

Benjamin Lederer in Cape Town was particularly attentive on email and helped sort a few of our issues quite quickly. Friendly and co-operative

Perfectly planned... from pick up at the airport, transfer, drop off, to an amazing stay in Mashatu... and back!
I can absolutely recommend to book your trip with Africa Geographic.

AG arranged the perfect trip to Botswana for my family. The consultant really listened to our brief and arranged an awesome itinerary within our budget. We had a good variety of accomodation, activities and locations. All transports were on time - we did not have a single hiccup or moment of stress. Organising the trip was also easy with good communication and support. I have travelled a lot and this would be one of my greatest travel experiences. Thanks Africa Geographic for organising it!

Our trip to Robins Camps in Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe with a family group of 11 people was perfect from start to finish. Our Africa Geographic consultant, Dave Hyslop, was wonderful to work with. He took the time to understand what we were looking for and found the perfect 2-day stay for us within our time constraints and budget. Communication with him was excellent and he answered any questions I had thoroughly and promptly.
Our family group of 11 loved our stay at Robins Camp! It was delightful to disconnect from our busy lives just to sit around the pool in the middle of nature watching animals. Meals at the camp are served in an open-air pavilion at set times with set menus, but they are able to accommodate special diets, like my gluten-free vegan diet, if you make a request in advance. The staff were courteous and helpful at all times, our rooms with ensuite bathrooms were lovely and our transfers to and from the camp went smoothly. The four game drives were, of course, the highlight of our stay. Our guides, Henry and Alfred, were extremely knowledgeable about wildlife and were patient in answering our questions and stopping for us to observe and take pictures. It was a special treat to watch bachelor impalas challenge the dominant male of a large herd, to see hippos in their natural habitat, and to see three female lions with their two cubs. The African sunset as we came back from our afternoon drive was gorgeous with its vivid shades of orange. We also enjoyed stopping at a village on our way to Robins Camp to learn more about village life and to buy some handcrafts there. Even though we only spent two nights there, it was an unforgettable experience. We are still savoring our memories.

Christian listens to what you want out of your trip and then plans accordingly . I like an input regarding accommodation and areas to visit and Christian communicates very well during the initial planning to insure we are happy and then makes suggestions based on his knowledge of the area and our budget . This is the 3 rd trip we have done with Christian and I don't think it'll be our last . Highly recommend .

Benjamin knocked it out of the park! We are the DIY type and never used a travel agent before, so we were kind of skeptical. Ben took the time to ask all the right questions and tweaked the plan based on our feedback until it was perfect (we didn't make it easy on him!). The trip was all we dreamed of and more! I can't recommend this company enough for a once in a lifetime trip.

Karen, our agent from Africa Geographic was truly exceptional. The itinerary she put together covering South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana, were at first class lodges, and the experiences at the safaris and river cruises were magical. The staff at the lodges and the drivers and trackers made us feel at home.
Our travel started with a 2 day delay thanks to the weather and the cancellation of our flight from New Jersey! Karen was immediately accessible and almost seamlessly made the changes (cancelations, rebooking, etc.) needed. She prepared detail documentation for our insurance claim and was available even on the weekend.
We would highly recommend Karen and Africa Geographic and will be using her services in a few years when we visit Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda!

I have just returned from my third trip organized by Christian . I have gone on safari in Kenya and South Africa and most recently visited Morocco. I wish that all was needed for the review was to say, “perfect “. Christian worked personally with my friend and me to try to understand what it is we hoped to get from our adventure. He had insights and suggestions and ideas. And he did not push in one direction or another. His vast experience is a guide and his enthusiasm were evident right at the beginning of the process. Throughout the trip, he checked in to see if the choices, met expectations and if any changes that are needed. The actual trip to Morocco was seamless. There were no organizational details that fell to us. The selected hotels and experiences were beyond what I could imagine ( and also within my budget). The trip took us to many cities (and the desert). Along the way, as we came to better understand this exquisite country, our requests of what we wanted to do changed. This was very easily facilitated and once again encouraged. Christian works to understand the balance between being guided and wanting to explore on one’s own. Perfect!

I have booked three times with Africa Geographic and once again, Christian put together a phenomenal itinerary. We spent 11 days touring from Marrakech to the desert exploring the country’s vast diverse landscape. Hotels and desert camps were exquisite with excellent food experiencing breathtaking Sahara sunsets as our camel gently tiptoed over the dunes. I thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent art & culture and mostly the kindness of the Moroccan people. I highly recommend this trip. We were 2 ladies traveling alone and Christian made sure we safe by checking in along the way. Thank you Africa Geographic.

Hard working staff who bent over backwards to make our trip (4 of us from UK) smooth running with flights, transfers, accommodation & tips for travelling in South Africa. Thank you so so much for everything we had an incredible trip.

This travel planner and guide experience was exceptional. They organized a compressed, spontaneous personal trip that I tagged onto a business trip at the last moment. They were highly accommodating and the guide/driver was fantastic with his attention to personal details in a very personable fashion. The trip was a wonderful experience and I will use them again in the future for sure.

As a solo female traveler from Canada who typically enjoys handling my own planning and bookings, I was initially nervous about letting someone else take the reins for such a significant trip. Adding to my concerns was the fact that I had limited knowledge of the countries I planned to visit (Uganda & Kenya) and the distance I’d be traveling. I had countless questions and different proposals about my trip, and Leonie was always there to answer everything and set my mind at ease.
In today’s world with so many online scams, trusting a company I wasn’t familiar with was daunting. However, it gave me immense comfort knowing that Leonie lived in Kenya and had firsthand experience with many of the destinations she suggested for me.
When it came to pricing, I quickly understood that a lot of behind-the-scenes work and effort goes into creating a seamless safari experience. The team made it all come together effortlessly. I am beyond grateful to Leonie, AG, and all of the incredible people I encountered—guides, rangers, managers, staff, drivers, pilots, and the wonderful locals.
Throughout my trip, I always felt safe, and I could reach out to any team member if I needed assistance. Pick-ups were always punctual, and I was greeted with smiles at every turn. The entire staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and special.
Lastly, being able to witness the stunning creatures in their natural habitat, so close and personal, was a life-changing experience. It’s something I’ll never forget. I truly had the safari of a lifetime!

Our tour cordinator, Christian prepared a very flexible one week tour in safari to fit our budget. Imagine the difficulty of traveling with four children now that the Japanese yen is so cheap (2/3 of what it was a couple of years ago!). He found such a cozy place (Aruba Camp) for us. Our safari driver and all the staffs at the camp were so nice and we will never forget their hospitality. We love you guys!!!

Christian from Africa Geographic Travel organised a 5 day bird hide session near Amboseli National Park specifically to photograph a number of waxbill species. The hide was basic (I was told this in advance) but the number and species that visited the hide was remarkable and all target species-and more - photographed. Nearby Sentrim Resort was fantastic and an excellent choice.
