This was a wonderfully organised tour around Sri Lanka (June 2017). Everything went so smoothly and we were happy with all the hotel recommendations. Very impressed with the Cinnamon hotel chain where we spent most of our nights. My thanks to you and also a special thank you to our wonderful driver. He was excellent and really took care of us throughout the two weeks. He is such a knowledgeable and personable chap who is also a great driver on those busy winding roads!
All of the trips were worth doing and we saw so much including the Polonnawura temple, Kandy temple, Sigiriya rock, botanical gardens, train ride through the clouds, elephants, safari, turtles… I could go on! I think the way the trip is broken up is well done, and you arent doing too much travelling in one day (although the trip to the native villages was very long and could easily be skipped).
The booking process went OK and we were able to tweak the suggested itinerary over email / phone and end up with exactly what we required - lots of activities and sightseeing for the first ten days then a few days relaxing on the beach. I was a little unsure of the payment process at first sending so much overseas, and now you accept bank transfers to your company I think this will reassure future visitors. This means we are fully insured etc from the UK.
Your organisation on arrival was great. You gave us a selfie stick, food on arrival, flowers and the local mobile (with the phone numbers we needed pre entered) was great. The minivan was spacious and comfortable, and we appreciated the airconditioning at times. We also very much appreciate the picture gift as we left. It is now hanging on my wall!
One small suggestion is that you may want to suggest customers also bring USD on their trip to pay for the big attractions, as this could be easier for them? When we ran out of rupees we also used the ATMs very easily and got a great rate.
