Experienced delays with flight confirmations and customer service was hard to reach.

Customer support was poor and refund took nearly a month. Disappointed

had a tough tiime getting flight changes processed. Took days to hear back. Not ideal for emergencies.

I purchased my flights from Travelgenio on the 20th May 2022 via Sri Lankan Airlines and was due to travel on June 30th however my UK visa was delayed for 4 months due to the Ukraine issue (Please refer flight ticket attached)

I contacted Travelgenio and cancelled the ticket as I did not know when the visa will be issued, this was accepted by the agent (cancellation no: CA-149161) with deductions and i was told it will take 14 weeks as this is how long it takes for the airline (Sri Lankan) to return the refund

In the interim of my 14 weeks and thereafter and after repeatedly looking on MyTrips (as this is the only platform to enquire or view) and mailing Travelgenio with no response (now 21 weeks) I could suddenly not get into MyTrips. On further investigation ie Facebook etc I found out Travelgenio in detail I found that they have now liquidated.
The money was returned into the Travelgenio account as I did see the account no, however within a few minutes this info disappeared off the screen
I wrote to my bank and Sri Lankan airlines both cannot help me and told me the I need to contact the Travel agent ie Travelgenio

It is now 2023 and I have still not received my refund

Turkish airlines informed me that the time of the flights changed. Travelgenio needs to approuve the ticket if not i can not use my ticket. therefore, i would like to change the date of my trip but no one is answering from Travelgenio (calls, emails) . And There website doesnt work at all. PLEASE HELP

My flight from Maun in Botswana to Johannesburg has been cancelled and I've been trying to get in touch about my refund and i cannot find away to get through to you. I booked this on 27 June 2022.
When i put in my email address to find "My Trip" it comes back it cannot be found.
How can i get in touch to claim my refund.
This is my second attempt to try and get a refund for this flight.

Got a call from Melbourne number as requested for a flight cancelation for only BALAPUWADUGE THILAK NANDASIRI MENDIS. Travelgenio said they will confirm with an email. After a week, no response. I already booked another ticket and until they cancel, I have two tickets in one name. Need to confirm Travelgenio as soon as possible. Thanks

I booked malaysia to finland stopover doha. But both return doha - finland has been canceled. Im still waiting the feedback from travel genio as the date is coming soon!

Scam company.

We made a choice for a trip to Indonesia and filled in all the necessary information, then you are asked to pay. after entering the payment details and press pay, the aircraft in the screen goes back and forth and a little later you get the message Payment failed ??? repeated the payment several times but always the message payment failed.
Logged in to Travel genio and found and saw the message payment pending. then sent an email to Travelgenio that their payment system was not working and so I could not pay. Immediately called my bank to hear if there was a malfunction, but this was not the case.
The next morning received an email from customers services that the flight was canceled due to lack of payment ???.
Searched again for the same flight and yes it was increased from $1329 to $ 2800 this is pure scam first offering a cheap flight and then canceling because payment could not be made Paiment failed and payment pending ????
So no more flights via Travelgenio, a club based in Spain that has many other names and cannot be reached by phone except by email.

Hello i bought one way ticket from tbillisi to paris on 15 sep at 5.48pm with refarance no 21852943. flight was on 16 sep in morning 7.15am, but the flight was allready canclled by Georgina Airways, and travelgenio knew that the flight no A9627 is canclled and they sold me this ticket.and now i am waiting for refund.

Our flight on 19/09/2022with the number TK658 was cancelled .we need a solution as soon as possible ,we contacted travelgenio they recommend to choose another date for travelling and they gave us IC-193040 .we received an email that they will treat our problem in a few days , we didn’t receive nothing yet . Please we need to heair something about our case, we have a baby and one child .

I booked a round trip flight through Travelgenio. The booking says Economy class, which usually means 1 piece of luggage, but I found at at the moment of checking in that my tickets were Economy light, and that I had to pay extra for luggage. All this time it’s impossible to reach Travelgenio customer support. Worse, one of the legs of the return trip had been cancelled by the airline and I learned this by accident as I knew someone in the same flight. No email or text message from the airline or Travelgenio. I emailed Travelgenio directly and received no answer. Fortunately I could book another flight directly with the airline. Travelgenio has been basically useless. Save yourself some trouble and book directly with the airline or elsewhere.

I booked a flight on TravelGenio with Kuwait Airways for Paris-Bangkok with a connection in Kuwait. TravelGenio changed my flight schedule and I will miss my connection! They then told me that the company had no other solution to give me with 11 days to go! My boyfriend who also took the same flight as me via the same agency was able to be on another flight. I don't understand, we made the complaint at the same time and this proves that there are other solutions. I hope that they will find a solution for me because my departure is approaching and this will make me lose a lot of money...

Really this agency is scamming people the company canceled my trip and Travelgenio tells me that you don't have the right to a refund I lost my refund really are thieves !!!!

You wrote that it wasn't cancelled and that you will contact me before. I am still waiting.
On Mytrips it seems to be cancelled !!!
Please tell me asap, I try to contact your for 3 weeks now !

TravelGenio is a genuine scam company, no matter what they claim. It has several phantom country telephone numbers (most of which do not have either humans or voice mail at the other end). It operates 9-5, which is useless for an international firm that claims to provide global service through diverse time zones. You can not contact a staffer/employee, and if you are lucky enough to connect after many days or weeks (if you have the stamina), they pawn you off saying you will get an email from "the other Departmenbt", that never comes. Service provision and reimbursements are a rarity, and email responses are wishful thinking. The immense grief suffered by customers, and their policy of slight of hand and institutional avoidance speaks worlds about their greed and lack of canons of professionalism and integrity. Worst booking experience ever. Cannot change the ticket, no support although I have paid for travel insurance.

hello we are trying to get reimbursed by without results after several phone calls, emails, and letters to the airline company who told us to see with for the reimbursement I can not even reach them anymore I do not recommend this reservation site be careful because many problems site not serious and nobody to take the reclamtions in case of problems go to another site of reservation is better
