I can't necessarily say that I'd give travelinsurance.com 5 stars, because the system glitched and my purchase didn't go through. Then when I called, there was no ability to speak with anyone. This review isn't really for them, it's for Bettye.

I hung up frustrated, but I got a call from Bettye almost immediately. She took ownership of my problem and got me the policy I needed. She even called Generali to make sure everything was good on their end. She was fantastic!

I'd like to think that Travel Insurance knows the gem they have in her, but they probably don't. Companies never appreciate the line workers who keep customer loyalty strong.

I have not made a claim as I just purchased the insurance, but the customer experience was outstanding due to the salesperson, Bettye Ridley. Give her a raise. I would not have purchased this insurance if not for her excellent understanding and ability to explain the policy.

Bettye did a wonderful job getting us trip insurance policies to accommodate our unique circumstances. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her; she is a treasure!

Ms. Bettye was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. She pointed out to me a mistake that would have voided the policy. I will be using Ms. Bettye's services going forward. You are in great hands when you contact Ms. Bettye.

It was the personal interaction between Bettye and myself, in finding the right policy for me, that made it so very special.

Bettye not only was patient with all my questions and concerns, but educated me on how different policies would affect different scenarios if I had any accidents, disruptions, illnesses or the like.

So, when we were done and I had purchased my policy for my trip to the African Continent, I felt good and confident that I had made the perfect decisions. It was only possible with Bettye's professionalism and patience. She was the best thing to come along in quite a while. Bless you Bettye!

I had a wonderful encounter with Bettye R! She was well informed, efficient, responsive via e-mail, and, mostly, a delight to talk to! I could not have asked for a better encounter and customer service! One of the best ever!

Bought a policy through this website (and it was with IMGGlobal as the carrier) instead of purchasing through Expedia like we have in the past. Simple, straightforward, and they put their money where their mouth was when we had to file claims! Took about a month, but the money is in our checking account now. 10/10 recommend.

We purchased through AXA Silver plan.
Our trip was delayed due to weather causing hotel & meal expense & days lost at resort. This plan says they are only paying $200 per person. Still waiting to be paid. This is so unfair!!! I will never use this company or site again. Buyer beware!! They make it so confusing then they have the nerve to ask for so much documentation & receipts & bank statements statements for want reason? Horrible

Buyer beware. TravelInsurance.com does not vet the insurance companies they carry. If you decide to use TravelInsurance.com research the insurance company on how well it handles claims. That is the best measure of a good insurance company, not simply price.
We purchased Trawick travel insurance through TravelInsurance.com and were disappointed when we had to make a claim. Looking through sites on the internet like Trustpilot we have since learned that Trawick is a fine company until you have to make a claim. It seems that most claims take months to get reimbursed, if ever. Our claim was under $500 and it seems unlikely we will be paid even though we have provided them with the documentation they requested.
I am disappointed that TravelInsurance.com would offer policies through a insurance company to their customers that has such a poor record of handling customer claims.

Great customer service! Bettye made the purchase of insurance very easy and was a pleasure to talk with. When we ran into a hiccup with our coverage she did everything in here power to correct the issue. I would definitely request her next time we need travel insurance!

I was assisted by Liz and she was very helpful in allaying my fears regarding the policy about pre-existing conditions. She was clear and provided insight to the policy interpretation. I felt I had a better understanding of the insurance after "speaking" with her.

Bettye is a real asset to your group. She really knows her stuff and instills confidence and comfort with obtaining trip insurance. Bettye is miles ahead of other agents at other companies. Bettye Ridley made my experience with Travel-insurance outstanding! Her ability to connect with customers is unfounded in this day and age. She was so pleasant and so helpful. She personally helped me correct a couple of mistakes I had made.

This was the first time that my wife and I contacted Travel Insurance Services to obtain information about their vacation coverage plans.

We were pleasantly surprised and pleased to have such a nice agent assist us. Bettye was polite and knowledgeable. She provided us with many options that she felt would meet our needs.

Bettye H. Ridley was Great. She took the time to make sure we understood the coverages on the policy. It wasn't until that time that she asked us if we wanted to purchase the plan. No pressure!
