Tried for hours to put in a claim form…
Tried for hours to put in a claim form just went round and in circles , eventually I e mailed them directly to eventually get told my I pad wasn’t covered by the travel policy .wont use them again .

i spent 4 hours on a terrible website attempting to fill in a webform to raise a claim which kept timing out and would not let me complete my claim.

My girlfriend's trip on Eurostar was cancelled due to an unexploded bomb but their insurance wouldn't pay out using the excuse don't cover war related claims. Absolute scum. Don't know how they sleep at night.
Avoid at all costs
Terrible experience, my UK internal flight was cancelled meaning I missed my international flight, they attempted to reject this and offered me £150 instead of the £1400 I was owed.
After 4 months of fighting them, and threatening to take them to the Financial Ombudsman Service twice, they have finally refunded.
Terrible business practices, rude on the phone and harass you to take the original lower offer using bullying tactics.
Avoid this travel insurance at all costs, but if you are struggling to get them to accept the pay out threaten them with the FOS it worked wonders.
Swift refund
Without going into the ins and outs of why I cancelled the travel insurance the same day I purchased it, to their credit, they sent the refund within the promised 3 to 5 working days.
Credit where credit's due
DO NOT USE PO/COLLINSON TRAVEL…
DO NOT USE PO/COLLINSON TRAVEL INSURANCE
Loyal Customer for years Annual Worldwide Multi trip.
1st time needed to claim - told on 2 occasions by different operatives which category my claim would lie. Then later told I would not receive any pay out at all as it doesn't fit their criteria.
My circumstances were not the usual claim type. I take out insurance to cover all eventualities, so why am bothering to use this company PO, who then use Collinson Insurance?
Then to cap it all I receive an email stating "as a valued customer would you like to renew".
NO I WOULD NOT
Don't Use
0 stars. Thought we were taking out good single trip travel insurance -how wrong we were. Whilst on holiday, had to make a small claim, submitted all documents in November, 2024 by recorded delivery. No acknowledgement received, emailed in January 2025 and told looking at it, then the amount approved and that the money would be transferred within five days. Chased again on 12th February and told by a person in Cape Town that they would send an urgent request and to allow another five days. Checked today and my small amount has been paid at long last. Feel as though if it hadn't been chased again, it would not have been paid. DO NOT USE.
WORSE NEVER AGAIN
This is by far the worst insurance company I've ever dealt with. I submitted my claim in October along with all the required documents, but the claim center is based in South Africa, making it incredibly difficult to reach my claim handler. Whenever I do manage to contact someone, they can't help, and I’m repeatedly told that documents are missing—documents I've already submitted. It's been nearly six months with no action taken and no updates. We’re the ones who have to chase them down. I seriously question whether they are even legitimate. I would NEVER use them again. It’s worth paying a bit more for a reputable company instead of dealing with this hassle
Backed by Collinson Insurance
By far the worst travel insurance company I have ever used. Communication is absolutely awful.
O appalling customer service
Appalling customer service. Received renewal notice dated 31/01/25, for £414.37. Phoned yesterday to confirm price included Covid-19 and Trip disruption cover, which were now listed as additional cover options. Were informed that yes, this cover was included in the price , but did we wish to add mobile phone and iPad cover for £21.69? Yes , okay , please add it and we will pay the renewal today. Thank you, that will be a total of £469.00 . Um , no I think you will find the total should be £436.05 .
No there was an error, you have to pay£469.00. - But there is no error on our part , you have all our medical history, you quoted us less than two weeks ago, you should honour your quote. “Sorry, you have to pay £469.00”. Actually, no we don’t, we are not going to renew with you.
What an absolute joke, not a clue how to deal with customers.
GO ELSEWHERE FOR DECENT SERVICE
I’ve been with PO insurance for just under two years. The only thing about it is they are cheap. But I have made 9 journeys in that time and EVERY TIME without exception I have had to call their customer support because THEIR system doesn’t remember my login. Not only does it not remember my login it then fails to let me reset and goes round in circles. They also provide delay assistance which requires a second login which also dies not remember me. The delay assistance provides a a small amount of compensation or lounge access if your flight is delayed. Fine if you can login and register your flight but as I said login fails EVERY TIME. I often fly out on a Monday morning and guess what… customer service doesn’t open on the weekends only weekdays 9-5 so I’ve missed registering my flight because of this twice and guess what … yup delays!
I’ve managed to book flights a little earlier this time, sat with customer service for over an hour and they manually logged me in.. fine. BUT they were supposed to send me confirmation of both logins and have their tech department call… you guessed it …NOTHING.
The next problem is that there is no obvious emergency contact information given… So I’m going to be stranded somewhere and not be able to call for assistance. They take your money and forget about you. Similar to the postmaster scandal, nothing changes. Will pay more elsewhere for decent service. YOU SHOULD TOO.
Best travel insurance policy out there…
Best travel insurance policy out there in my opinion. Never used this company previously. But seen a brochure in the local post office and read the benefits and purchased an annual family plan. Best decision I’ve made in a while.
Booked an eight night holiday for my wife and granddaughter to New York and registered the flights 24 hours before travel. The initial British Airways flight was delayed by more than an hour and they were sent a text message to go to the Aspire airport lounge in NCL, booked and paid for by the flight delay insurance included with the policy…..absolutely fantastic and a bonus.
Then the connecting flight with BA via LHR to JFK was missed as a result of this and later the travel policy paid out the costs incurred by our party.
I highly recommended this travel insurance policy to anyone that wants to deal with UK based customer service insurance representatives at all times on a local call telephone number.
Wish I had seen these reviews before I…
Wish I had seen these reviews before I purchased my insurance. Have to pre register flights for any delay compensation but this must be done 24 hours before flight. Not a good start.
EVRI Complaint
I took two parcels to the post office in Otley W Yorks on 21/11/2024 which was a drop-off point for Evri the parcels both had Vinted download labels on them with two different delivery addresses one parcel reached its destination the second parcel is missing so I contacted the post office and they contacted Everi, and two tracing numbers were emailed to me from the post office with confirmation that both parcels had been delivered so I contacted Evri directly and told them one parcel had not reached its destination so the adviser asked me for the postcode on the Vinted label of the missing parcel when he checked it he told me they had no record of that postcode I have forwarded screenshots and a full explanation of the conversation I have had with Evri, but after several Email sent to Evri, I am no further forward to date, further to this I have sent an email to the CEO of Evri giving him a brief explanation of the missing psrcel and some screenshots but again I have had no reply its time there was more regulations to make these online companies more accountable, the only way you can contact them is through AI which is a waste of time or Email and that that doesn't have any affect as far as Evri is concerned , I'm very angry with them their customer service is appalling.

Awful customer service
Took out insurance
Fell ill while on holiday, rang them, they said they would send the hospital details and they would handle the bill - they didn’t ! We paid ourselves
Home, raised a claim through the portal loaded all info, claim is now open
24th October they emailed asking for the same info, I queried and sent, they acknowledged they had received it
31st October the exact same email sent from some other claim assessor asking again for the same info
Tried to ring and talk to a person it’s impossible
If I’ve sent the wrong info or they need more then explain.
Frustrating beyond belief NEVER again outsourced and clueless
Awful customer service shouting at me and saying I have no common sense
Peterborough bridge st amazing how the member of staff said I have no common sense. They have had me running around for 2 weeks and then denied that I was owed the money I had paid for fo evri delivery they advised on. £700 pair of shoes went around in circles and came back to me and then the lady was the rudest member of staff behind a counter I have come across. Called me a liar and said I have no common sense. Now I’m out of pocket for nearly £50 and she had no clue of how to deal with it apart from shouting at me
Totally awful and well behind the…
Totally awful and well behind the times. Called to sort out a simple issue and was told I would have to wait for the information to be POSTED OUT which will take 5 working days? What planet do these people even live on? We have telephones and emails these days. We do not want letters in 5 working days. It is not the 1980s anymore. Where is your App?
