How can so many people who work with…

How can so many people who work with Easyjet get it so wrong? This is about 5 times I have written, and each time they ask for flight ref/booking ref, which I have already replied to and given. The details are within my complaintCustomer services absolutely a joke…
Customer services absolutely a joke phoned 3 times 3 times they put phone down on me can never get a straight answer always referred to another number. Great taking money off you but hard to get your money back for a cancellation flght. Booking ref: KC28X29. Holiday reference 8146026 flight EZY3482 received my flight reimbursement plus £24 which I don’t know wot for but haven’t received my wife’s reimbursement of £350 a break down would have been a great help but think that is asking to. Very disappointing experience with EasyJet.

For a 5-hour flight, I was shocked that there were no complimentary refreshments whatsoever not even a free bottle of water. Everything had to be purchased onboard.

The baggage allowance is poor, and the charges for excess luggage are excessive. Being charged such a high fee for just 9kg overweight felt unreasonable and left a bad impression before the journey had even begun.

The onboard experience felt more like a travelling marketplace, with constant sales of food, drinks, perfumes, gifts, and other items throughout the flight. While I understand airlines generate additional revenue, it became overwhelming and took away from the overall travel experience.

The seats were also extremely uncomfortable, especially for a 5-hour journey, making it difficult to relax.

Overall, I found the flight poor value for money. Between the baggage charges, uncomfortable seating, lack of complimentary refreshments, and constant onboard selling, the experience was disappointing. Unfortunately, I would think carefully before choosing EasyJet again. ✈️

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service. After spending considerable time on hold, the person I got through to said they can't help with getting any information about past flights and that there is no way to get information or boarding passes without requesting a vat invoice. After asking for a manager as the agent did not listen to multiple questions, requests for help, and kept calling me a different name, she said no and hung up on me! I am now left with no assistance for something simple that any other airline or booking service has provided me

September 2025 flight cancelled from…

September 2025 flight cancelled from Milan to Amsterdam, no initial reason given and nobody from airline to assist passengers. A story did eventually circulate stating that there was a cabin crew strike. Again nobody available from the airline staff to give clear correct information. We will personally never fly with this airline again. It is not easy but actually very difficult using this airline.

Apathy beyond belief!

4months on, despite EasyJet agreeing that all the locks on our new travel luggage had been tampered with and broken beyond repair whilst in their care. We have NOT been compensated. Their customer services is useless and apathy is rife beyond belief. We have decided, EasyJet have no intention of compensating us and would rather save the money of replacing our damaged luggage with their cheap offerings and loose customers of many years loyalty, with us making the conscious decision to cancell flights that was already booked for 2026.

Cannot get statutory refund for cancelling in cooling off period

Struggling to get refund for insurance cancelled in cooling off period, I accidentally booked the wrong date on the EasyJet app so immediately changed flights to the day earlier. Contacted insurance who said I couldn’t change the dates but would have to cancel and rebook. This was on 29/09 and despite 3 phone calls to them I still haven’t had the refund. The last call I was told that the refund hasn’t gone through but couldn’t explain what that meant so told to give it another week! Certainly won’t be taking out their insurance if I ever do get it refunded.

Flying back home to london gatwick from…

Flying back home to london gatwick from Lanzarote on flight EZY8134 was one of the best experiences I've had on easyjet. The manager Clay and his crew on the flight made us feel very welcome with their hospitality, always asking if there's anything we need with a smile and warm manner. I've been travelling with easyJet for a long while now and it makes me happy seeing such wonderful service from crew like those of Clay and crew! Keep up the good work!

I'm not even going to explain what happened because it would take me an EON and ultimately will just aggravate me more. Awful experience, flight delay, rude flight attendants, spoilt customers getting their way and relooking over easyjets policies they cover themselves handsomely with their compensation policy so that they don't have to take any responsibility. Just look at the countless 1-star reviews and heed their warnings, the 5-star reviews are clearly employees from Easyjet themselves so just disregard them because there's no way this Airline has 5-star quality service. STAY AWAY FROM EASYJET.

EasyJet is unreliable

EasyJet is unreliable.

They canceled our flight to Gran Canaria for no reason, They did not tell us why. We booked very early and had to fly on specific dates because of a cruise. Naturally, it was a lot of stress because we had to book new flights, but not with EasyJet, because they didn't have flights on the exact dates., which we booked before.

This is the mail we received:

1. Switch to another flight for free

You can switch to another flight to the same destination for free. If there are no direct flights available on your original route, you can also search for flights to or from nearby airports within the same country.

2. You can get a voucher for the full value of your booking

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and give you the flexibility to book travel anywhere on our network.

3. You can get a refund for the full value of your booking

Refunds will be paid to the account you made the booking with. We're processing refund requests within 7 days, and they may take a few extra days to come through to your bank account.

The easiest and quickest way to choose the option you'd like is by logging into your booking using our mobile app or through Manage Bookings on our website.

We did ask for compensation, but Easylet says:
After reviewing your file, I can confirm that you have opted for a refund following the cancellation. Our policy is that once a refund or voucher is chosen, customers are no longer traveling with easyJet and are therefore not eligible for reimbursement for accommodation, alternative transportation, or other related costs.

So you can see it’s very easy for easyjet to cancel flight and nobody gets compensation, of course we want our money in return and no vouchers. Easyjet didn’t offer us accommodation or whatever!
Easyjet has all the security and the customer is left empty-handed and with a lot of stress.
EASYJET ITS COST US €300 EXTRA AND YOU DON’T CARE.

EASYJET IS UNRELIABLE!!!!

DO NOT GIVE UP, THEY ARE AT IT

Subject: Urgent: Outstanding Compensation Claim for Flight EZY3226 – 26/07/2025, Case ID: 110430799

Claim for luggauge damage Claim Ref: EJ240998

My original Trustpilot review appears to have been removed, so I am posting again.

Since 27th July, I have been pursuing compensation for the cancellation of my flight EZY3226 from Athens to Edinburgh on 26th July. The experience has been appalling:

At 3:30 am, passengers were abandoned in Athens Airport with no EasyJet staff present and were told to use the app to find accommodation.

The app failed to secure a hotel. We finally got a room at 5:30 am, only thanks to another passenger who shared a phone number.

We were forced to stay two nights in Athens, then rebooked to Manchester instead of Edinburgh. From Manchester, we paid for a train to Edinburgh and then a taxi back to Edinburgh Airport to retrieve our car.

I have emailed EasyJet numerous times. Instead of resolution, I have received repeated, contradictory requests:

I was told the compensation claim listed “incorrect names” for my wife and daughter. I assure you, I know their names. I have now been asked to resubmit this information three separate times.

EasyJet claims my wife will be compensated, but not my daughter or me, again citing “incorrect names.” This is clearly a tactic to frustrate claimants into giving up.

Also, according to an email, my wife can not submit a claim for my daughter and I, however EasyJet state this on their web site ''If you booked for more than one passenger under the same booking reference, please provide the names of all the passengers you are claiming compensation for. You must have their permission to make a claim and receive any compensation payment on their behalf. Please note, if you make a claim for other passengers, those passengers will not be able to make a separate claim for the same booking''.
In addition:

Two of our three suitcases were damaged. I submitted photos and the required details, yet EasyJet repeatedly asked for the same information again.

Customer service via the online chat has been unhelpful, sarcastic, and at times barely literate.

To this day, over six weeks later, I am still waiting for a proper response and full compensation.

EasyJet’s handling of this situation is unacceptable, and their customer service is disgraceful. I urge other passengers not to give up when faced with these delay tactics.

I was asked to email EasyJet after posting my first review on Trustpilot, I waited nearly a week for a response. They said ''Good Moring David, this is not my name...... and then said, ''To proceed, each passenger listed on the booking must submit their own individual claim using their personal banking details. This is a requirement for verification and processing purposes, and it is the only way the claim can be accepted''

Not what the website states.

Complete incompetance.

If you are experiencing similar issues can I suggest that If EasyJet continues to withhold compensation, to escalate this matter through the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and/or EasyJet’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme, as well as consider legal action if necessary.

Over EZY 26144 hr delay on easyjet from Egypt…

Over 4 hr delay on easyjet from Egypt flight EZY2614, what a shower of you know what's been sitting with over 300 others passengers on a plane that never left the run way no drinks or food given to us. Request for food denied by staff, on a bus back to terminal as i write this review compensation definitely needs to be given the staff on this flight are shocking thinking you're not untitled to ask for food or complain i will write a follow up but this is so bad i had to start moaning now. Fuming got my 3 kids and wife with me angry how we have beed treated so angry.

Criminals. Bring your own measuring tape

Criminals. Bring your own measuring tape to the airport since their box is way smaller than they advertise it should be. They would then force you to pay the ridiculous amount of 48 GBP then to carry your only luggage. With that money I can get a taxi to my house, bring a measuring tape and prove you that what you do is illegal.

Baggage problem

We were on a flight from Alicante to Gatwick. Our case was not on the carousel. Another passenger was in the same position. I went to the EasyJet check-in where I spoke to a representative called Adeola who told us that we should fill in an online form to get the case back. I explained to Adeola that we are on a cruise in two days time. My wife was very upset, so Adeola said that he would take me and the other passenger down to the baggage collection area. We found ours and the other passenger's cases beside a different carousel. Adeola is a credit to EasyJet and went above and beyond to help us out.

Terrible Experience

Terrible Experience – EasyJet Lied About Cause of Cancellation and Refused Compensation

Flight EZY2307 from Luton to Ibiza was cancelled due to easyJet’s failure to provide replacement crew — NOT air traffic control as they falsely claim in their official letters. Passengers were never told about any ATC issues; onboard, the captain himself confirmed the delay was caused by replacement staff not answering their phones. He was visibly frustrated at the airline’s mishandling.

After two hours of delays, we were taken onto the plane, only to be taken off again after further waiting. This added unnecessary stress and confusion for all passengers.

Despite this, easyJet has refused all compensation and expenses, blatantly ignoring passenger rights under UK261. Their official excuse is a clear attempt to avoid responsibility and cheat customers out of what they’re legally owed.

Passengers were left waiting for hours with no honest communication or support. This level of disrespect and dishonesty is unacceptable.

If you want an airline that respects its customers, avoid easyJet.

I booked a return flight aCharged £100 for One Bag – Misleading and Rude Servicend only…

I booked a return flight and only needed one 26kg hold bag for the outbound leg, but EasyJet charged me £100 for bags on both journeys. There was no clear option to select “one way only” during booking, and the interface is deliberately misleading.

When I called to fix it, the woman on the phone was condescending and unhelpful, refusing to reverse the charge or even explain why I couldn’t remove the bag from the return flight.

This is borderline scamming – I’ve flown with EasyJet before but never again. If you’re thinking of booking, triple-check your extras or risk being fleeced.

Our flight from Gatwick to Glasgow was…

Our flight from Gatwick to Glasgow was initially delayed 30 minutes, then 40 minutes. We finally were assigned a gate only to get there to find no plane. We were supposed to be on a plane coming from Paris. That changed to one from Geneva. By the time everyone boarded, a thunderstorn began. The plane was hit by lightning and we had to disembark for a 2-3 hour inspection. Our departure gate changed again. The pilot was able to locate another plane and secure a plane. The delay stretched to 2 and a half hours. NO COMPENSATION WAS GIVEN! Not even a complimentary cup of tea! Absolutely shocking! This was my first experience with Easyjet and it will be my last.

Easy Jet overbooked and has refused to refund my expenses

- Negave Star!!
I booked to fly London Lisbon only to be turned at the gate for overbooking. I was asked to fly via Faro which was about 3 hours drive to my destination. I got a taxi, lost my booked tickets in Lisbon, lost a whole day.
The worst thing, Easy Jet has refused to refund my money, claiming I didn't book, I have sent all my documents including a marriage certificate and have denied me more than 10 times
