Not going to tell the full story but here is a review to help those get their money back. For those of you that have been scammed by this company like me. Here is some advice from someone who has just got all their money back that they paid to this scam of a company. I paid Travelley using a direct debit card and bank transfer so at first when I was initially concerned about this company in May, my bank would not deem it as a scam as I was not due to go on holiday until this month and it was classed as a civil dispute. I kept a hold of all my evidence and fast forward to this month and brought it to the attention of my bank again that it is clearly a scam because I am meant to be in Africa right now but yet I’m in freezing cold England and they agreed and I received all my money back today. For those that haven’t received their money back, please hold onto your evidence and when you are due to go on holiday, contact your bank again, it is worth it. I went through citizens advice, county court and even bailiffs to try and get my money back because the bank wasn’t originally going to do anything. The company has vacated their walk in business premises and are being shut down so please reach out to your banks.

We travelled in 2024 on a safari with this company and il be honest it was brilliant from start to finish. Jan 2025 we booked a multi trip to Thailand with them. £7596 later - I contacted them in August (due to travel Oct 2025) no message response, no email response, phone lines disconnected. I contacted airlines and hotels NO BOOKING for our party of x4. Numerous calls and hours/days/weeks contacting, the bank, trading standards, citizens advice, recorded letters to the two registered addresses, reported to companies house and the police! Along with the tears shed and anxiety of how they could scam people like this. It’s disgusting!
We have just received our money back from the bank. PLEASE DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY!
Directors should be written off!

I have used TRAVELLEY before (2024) on that occasion had a good experince.
This time booked again. Promised the world delievered absolutely nothing! At present lost £2700 (recovered £2500 from TRIP TO WORLD). Initial invoice paid everything booked in MAY. Final payment they asked the balance to be paid to another company " TRIP TO WORLD". after being assured Both Flights & Hotels had been booked. Arrived at Gatwick to find All flights with Qatar Airlines cancelled. Only one of the three Hotels had actually been booked. One had NEVER BEEN BOOKED! the other had been BOOKED AND cancelled three times. Not answering phone or replying to messages. Also using the ATOL certificate for another Company Have reported this to ATOL. travelley HAVE NOT tendered their accounts to HRMC. This is why they are saying to Customers they are " Having an audit". I have asked for a full refund but no reply.DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

UPDATE: Once I contacted PAYPAL and raised a dispute, within two hours TRIP TO WORLD the third party provider emailed me to say they would commence a refund. Within 48 hours My wife's Bank account was credited with £2500.

Do not trust this company. i have been scammed out of £3000 with no explanation and now they don’t even respond to my messages or emails

After being promised that we would be notified on the outcome of the "audit" Travelley apparently were undergoing, we have heard nothing.
Numerous emails, messages, texts been sent.
Myself and friends aren't receiving any replies.
I can only assume Travelley are no longer in business.

Scam scam scam, please dont not loose your money to these people. Not protected and under investigation

Engage with travelley at your own risk. We partnered for airport transfers in ZANZIBAR and after completing the rides on their behalf they disappeared. Never paid, never pick calls.
I honestly think some people should be arrested and just hanged.
Very very nasty conmen.

I wish I could give no stars cause one star is too many.
These are complete and utter con artists booked our dream holiday and paid in full to then recieve no confirmation and no contact or response to emails!! So I called the flight company to get told no flights booked.
I eventually recieved a response from the scammers and was told to wait 21 days as there going through an inspection & audit. That takes us to 9 days before we should go.. I don’t believe a word they are saying just buying them selves more time!! They claim to be atol protected which is a complete lie as the CAA have no information on them. They atol number I found on my paper work they originally sent is registered to a complete different company am sure that’s fraud in itself..
Luckily for me I have managed to get my money back through the bank but some may not be so lucky!! Do yourself a favour and stay away from the total low lives! Like I say 1 star is one too many.

Checked airline & hotels directly. Email response from the hotel & airline - nothing booked.

Requested refund. Travelley finally responded to my multiple calls emails Facebook & what’s app to advise £1600 to cancel.
Even though there is nothing booked.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! My daughter and her friend have booked. After checking with ATOL this company is not registered so will be reporting to the CAA. After constantly asking for booking confirmations and atol certificate with no response, She has checked with the airline and hotels directly, after paying thousands none have been booked! She has repeatedly tried to contact this company with no response on facebook, whatsapp, email or phone call. After constantly trying she got an email to say they have been busy! This disgusting fraudulent company have stolen off two young ladies, who if they managed to get to africa were going to be left stranded with no accomodation booked. We are now in the process of reporting to relevant authorities and going to a small claims court. Reading the reviews i see we are not the only case. This company needs shutting down and a prison sentence serving. Theiving, disgusting and fraudulent scum bags!

We lost £5 k. We meant to go to safari in Kenya. We can not get money back because their bank is a revolut.
I hope this review can safe at least one person from them.
If not, definitely go to the police. More complaints will help to catch or stop this.

We are currently taking the matter further with legal representative and reported them to trading standards which they are investigating

We booked a holiday to Tanzania for a safari and then a few days in Zanzibar.

Things were fine for the 1st couple of days went on an amazing safari and arrived back to start the next leg of our trip.
The manager called us into the office and told us that the safari hadn’t been paid for.
After trying to contact Travelley and them not answering my calls had to pay £900 for the trip

Then we got a confirmation from to Travelley for our flight to Zanzibar.
Decided to call hotel in should have been staying and the reservation had been cancelled.
We then had to pay another £600 for a hotel in Zanzibar.
We are 2 64 old women left stranded by this firm, if it wasn’t the the management of Meru Slopes safari I don’t know what would have happened. They ensured the rest of our holiday went ahead.

Shocking company, lie about everything on your booking, they make flights up that don't exist. When I've contacted the hotels we are meant to be staying in they say our booking in not their. Take your money for a holiday that will not happen. SCAM avoid...

Wish I would of googled the company sooner as all I can see if that their a scam.

This is an updated review following on from the courts.

I booked a safari and beach holiday for July 2024. 8 days before travel, after countless ignored messages, countless unanswered phone calls and lies, I was finally told that due to conditions in Kenya, they were looking to change the destination. Gave me options of excepting the new destination, moving the holiday to the following year or cancel.

Decided to cancel, got told I would be refunded by monthly instalments!!

Received 3 instalments, the 4th was refused due to me putting a review here, they didn’t like that so demanded I remove the review or I wouldn’t get my refund!!

Filed a court case against them and the court ordered that they pay the full refund, within 21 days, not the 6 months they requested!!

Finally received my full refund plus court fees and interest on day 21! Winner 💪

They are untrustworthy, lack communication, advertise they can be contacted 24/7 yet don’t answer their phones or reply to messages.

I am so happy the holiday didn’t go ahead!

They thought they could threaten me and thought I would back down so they wouldn’t have to pay me but I fought on and WON!!

6k in my bank account not theirs!! 😃

Off to book a safari with a reputable company who id be more than happy to give my money to!! NOT TRAVELLEY!!!

I had to give 1 star bit didn't want give that .. so many bad things happened I am very well travelled and have been alot of places but going to Kenya on a safari was a different adventure and wanted it to be done by a specialist.. I can't even explain the hardship I have went through with dirty rooms and moving and even moving hotel last minute not been booked in hotels for enough nights or time was horrendous I have been waiting since September for a refund and have been put off for all types of reasons and ignored this company has treated me awful .. I appreciate some might have had a great experience but I haven't and I would strongly suggest that u go through a larger company as I have been told many times they are independant and don't just have the money to give me back like that , it's 800 pound surely this great company would have insurances for this I have all written prove of messages I have sent and been sent and voice notes it is the worse experience ever

This is the second time I've used Travelley. They made my booking process simple and straightforward, and it met all my requirements. Jake was exceptional, consistently providing me with updates and information throughout the entire process. I am looking forward to going on another trip with them.

Scam, scam, scam, do not use this company, your hotel won't be booked, and your flights will not have your correct date of births on them, contact action fraud if you have paid a deposit, then your bank might reimburse you

this company owes me money and is not able to return it to me and there is no chance to call the office and Mr. Wilson is not responding either, that is why I am writing so that no one loses their money again, do not book any holidays through this company
