Refund after Small Claims court threat

Like many other reviewers, I had to chase Travelpack for a refund on flights I couldn't take due to the COVID pandemic. I waited the 8-10 weeks I was told it would take to get the refund and then when I called was twice told I was in a 'refund queue'. I only got my refund after I threatened to take them to Small Claims Court (would recommend doing that).

Would give one star, but every time I called them I thought the customer advisers were doing their best in what must be a very rubbish job.

Stollen £1200 from me

Stollen £1200 from me. Flight cancelled in March 2020 due to covid. Its now jan 2021 and despite lots of emails and phone calls to there ca center in India I have not received any money. They tell me the did not receive from the airline. But I have spoken to the airline and they have refunded. So on top of steeling they have also lied to me and broken there own terms and conditions by not giving me a refund in under 9 months.

PLEASE avoid

I am at 6 months down the line waiting for a refund. They ignore emails, constantly promise that the refund is coming, and it never appears. They say they will call me back, they never do. The excuse is always COVID - but they have never given a proper reason as to why they will seemingly never refund me. At this point, I am moving forward with making a case with either my bank to dispute the payment, or going to the Financial Ombudsman to force them to give me the refund. Absolutely shocking service, avoid like your life depends on it.
Edit: I got my refund after about 6 months, after threatening legal action.

Cannot get our money back

We cancelled due to our flights being cancelled by British Airways through TravelPack. They still have our money and aren't replying to mail. We received a small amount of money back for extra legroom, we think they have withheld the rest. They still owe us £8,000

4 month struggle to get a refund

I booked my flight and due to covid-19 it was cancelled. The refund took 4 months and constant calls to their call center in India. They are very polite but it's always another 2 weeks, another week, etc. They took 12 weeks to give me my money back even though they were refunded by the airline a lot earlier. They told me there is only 1 person working in their Finance Dept. which considering the current situation is unacceptable, shift the people in reservations to processing refunds as that is where the demand is!! I will never use them again.

COVID rebooking SCAM

Originally booked business class flight MAN/ORD in March 2020. Due to travel restrictions four changes to travel date. I have now paid total of £3400 with various add on requested to cover fare changes. Today to make another change further £400 requested to cover fare difference on May 2021 flight giving total £3800 for one passenger. Looking at Travelpacks own website the same flights total £1850 for one passenger. Looks like this company are profiting for COVID crisis on rebookings. Suggest you avoid dealing with Travelpack

THE WORSE COMPANY TO GET YOUR REFUND FROM.

Never have I experienced this in my life!!! It took over 6 months to received my refund , it took back and forth emails to chasing via a phone call to be told a back log of refunds!!!
Yes it’s COVID yes everyone would prefer there money back but it should not take this long for a refund to come back to you!!!!!

I will never ever be booking with them again!!! Avoid if you can unless you want them to keep your money and build interest on your money before they give it back to you!!!

I have cancelled my flight with Travel…

I have cancelled my flight with Travel pack in September 2020. They told me that my refund process will take 8- 10 weeks. After 10 weeks I contacted them again and they said the airline has not started the refund process. I contacted the airline directly and they said they have started the refund process a long time ago. This means that Travelpack have been paid by the airline. I am now waiting for my refund from Travelpack.

Has been 7 months since I have requested a refund but u have received any money from them everytime I call they say it is processing or keep on cutting the phone. I have spoken to Turkish Airlines and they have returned the refund to Travelpack but they are holding the money

Travelpack Making more money out of your cancelled holiday Vouchers

We were forced into taking a voucher for a flight we booked with Travelpack, we went to rebook and the air fare is less than we paid but Travelpack are demanding we pay more on top. Total rip off. E-Ticket for booking V05071 £405.46 today on their website and we paid £425.25 now they want an extra £32 on top. TOTAL RIP OFF THIS IS HOW THIS COMPANY LIKES TO DEAL.
Dont Book here imagine something happened to you while you are away, they would prob do the same try make even more money out of your situation. There are many many companies struggling please support those honest businesses. IF YOU DONT BOOK HERE THEY WILL BE OUT OF BUSINESS

Stay away if you can

Unfortunately I am joining the pool. They have been keeping my money for 12 weeks now and said the same thing: the payment is pending. No one replied to my emails. God knows how long I will have to wait. My flights have been rescheduled and rebooked before I cancelled them. I doubt I will ever get the same amount of money back!! I'd suggest people not to book tickets through them.

Over a year to get a refund!!! AVOID!

My flight got cancelled due to the Covid-19 and I have requested for a refund on 24th Apr 19.

On 27th April 19, the customer service acknowledged my request and said the refund was being processed. Since then, I never heard anything back from them so constantly chasing, calling and emailing, all I've got is the answer that 'Your refund is being processed'...

Finally, I started to proceed a legal action against them and as soon as I did that, the refund finally came through on 30th Nov 20!!!

OVER A YEAR FOR A REFUND! This is not a joke and I would warn anyone to stay clear from this company.

Avoid at all cost!

Stay patient we got our refund!

These guys aren’t scammers in our experience they are also struggling. Stick with it, keep on their radar and I’m sure you’ll get your refunds .

Bad way to build customer loyalty.

Its not just the public they are dealing with poorly. I went via Co-op Travel and I still haven't been refunded. They've had £3000 + of my money in deposit and balance since March for an October trip that was cancelled in September.
Who will they look to for support to rebuild their business I wonder ?
This is one customer they've lost.

8 months since my flight got cancelled and just like everyone else here no refund from Travelpack. Stay away from using this company to book your flights!
After constant chasing, constant lies about refund dates I’ve started the process for legal action on them .
