I had an extremely frustrating experience with TravelUp and would strongly caution others before booking through them.
Over the past week, I have spent more than 6 hours on calls with multiple agents trying to resolve a simple issue regarding a flight change and cancellation. Despite clearly explaining that the revised flight timing significantly disrupts my plans, my concerns were repeatedly dismissed.
What made the situation worse is that I was provided with incorrect contact details for a supposed manager. After following up, I now believe the information given to me was inaccurate, which wasted even more of my time and added to the frustration.
I also contacted the airline directly, and they confirmed that any changes or refunds must be handled by TravelUp since the booking was made through them. However, TravelUp has failed to provide any meaningful support or resolution.
At this point, I am simply requesting:
Cancellation of my booking
A full refund (not just the tax portion)
The lack of accountability, poor customer service, and misinformation provided during multiple interactions is unacceptable. I expected a much higher level of professionalism.
I hope someone from TravelUp reviews this and takes immediate action to resolve my case.

Avoid booking with TravelUp.
We booked flights that were cancelled the very next day. TravelUp said they would issue a refund since there was no availability, but it’s now been 5 days and we still haven’t received our money back. When I finally managed to reach their customer service line, the representative answered but stayed silent for minutes before suddenly transferring me to another line without explanation. The whole experience has been frustrating and their customer service is extremely poor.

I had an appalling experience with Travel Up that caused immense stress, especially for my 71-year-old mother. They failed to notify me of a critical flight change that left me with just 40 minutes to get off a plane at Heathrow and catch my next flight — an impossible connection. Because of their negligence, I had no choice but to cancel and rebook directly with British Airways, incurring extra costs and hassle. I was on hold for over 60 mins numerous times to Travel Up and got no responses to my emails.
To make matters worse, Travel Up had the audacity to tell me that my refund would take up to six weeks to process, which is completely contradictory to their website which states 4-7 days. Six weeks — after their mistake. That’s not just inefficient, it’s insulting.
This agency showed a complete lack of care, communication, and accountability. I would strongly advise anyone considering them to look elsewhere. Travel is stressful enough without having to deal with incompetence like this.
