I’m shocked of how they haven’t…

I’m shocked of how they haven’t refunded my money yet it’s been over 4 weeks, when flights were cancelled in Middle East I apply for full refund as flights were giving full refunds. They must have got my money but I have not been given.all airlines emirates Qatar refund was issued in 3/4 days. What’s going on with travel up

SCAM

I am still waiting for a response to my refund request nearly a month ago! I was unable to fly due to the middle east conflict. The link sent by Travel up to request a cash refund does not work. I have tried emailing and calling with no luck. I am disgusted by the service and the fact they are capitalising on the war to exploit people for money. Never booking with this company again and I am seeking legal advice.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. Four weeks since Emirates allowed me to cancel my flight as a result of conflict in the Middle East, I have still not received my refund. In addition, unlike other online agents - I have had to cancel a number of flights - they are keeping their fees. Take my advice - AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Further to my ongoing experience

Further to my ongoing experience, I guess travel up would consider its better to continue to upset the same customer as opposed to upsetting a new one.
14th April actually got through to Travel up by using a different sequence of numbers selected.
After speaking to an advisor of my problem I was asked to hold, 7 minutes later I was told that the scheduling team would email me in 24-48 hours, the advisor promised this when I questioned if this would really happened he said he works with the scheduling team and would ensure it would happen.
48 hours was up at 13.07 today, another anxiety inducing false promise meanwhile the flight I want increases daily in price, shameful, shameful behaviour
You have time and personnel to write a reply to my complaint but no one to deal with the complaint, appalling.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with TravelUp.

Iondon Gatwick to Colombo, and the outbound flight on 1 June 2026 was cancelled by the airline. Following this, I made multiple attempts to contact TravelUp via email and phone over several days, but received no response. On some occasions, calls were disconnected without any assistance.

When they finally responded, the only alternative offered included a layover of approximately 7 hours and 40 minutes, compared to my original 2-hour transit. This is clearly not a comparable or reasonable alternative, so I had to reject it.

I have now requested a full refund, but was initially encouraged to accept a voucher instead, which I declined. I have also had to escalate the matter through my credit card provider due to the lack of timely support.

Overall, very poor customer service and communication. I would not recommend booking through TravelUp based on this experience.

Be aware of poor customer service

Booking online was very easy. BUT if you need to contact them eg to cancel a flight to the Middle East it’s impossible. Phone wait times over an hour, and emails not replied to. In future I will book elsewhere.

I had the worst experience dealing with…

I had the worst experience dealing with this agent. Their response time is completely unacceptable — it takes 5–6 days just to get a reply to an email.

I needed to cancel my flight, so I contacted the airline directly, but they told me I had to go through the agent I booked with. I then called TravelUp and waited on hold for over an hour. When I finally got through to an agent, I explained my situation and provided all my details. Instead of helping, they put me on hold and then abruptly disconnected the call.

After that, I emailed them regarding my cancellation request. It took them 5 days to respond, only to say they don’t have access to my booking and that I should contact the airline — which made no sense. I called the airline again, and they told me to contact TravelUp and ask them to email the airline directly.

I followed their instructions and contacted TravelUp again, but it’s now been 8 days with no response.

This has been an extremely frustrating and stressful experience, with zero accountability and terrible customer service. I would strongly advise others to avoid using this agent.
