This company is a SCAM! Do you not book with them. They did not provide the service and would not answer their phones. Called 7 times and was disconnected each time.
Booked a hotel in Richmond - Traveluro never paid and I had to pay AGAIN. **Update - Refunded**
Booked a hotel in Richmond, VA for Christmas. Reservation made and paid for. Showed up at the Holiday Inn, and thier virtual token to pay for our stay was denied. Customer service number is useless. Just hangs up after you make a selection. No email to rectify the situation. To top it off they sent a text to ensure our satisfaction... I will be contacting my bank to report them as fraud and to get my money back.

I've upgraded my rating from 1 to 3 stars since they did finally connect with the hotel (which I confirmed) and my card that I had to use at the hotel has been refunded. Here is their final correspondence to me.

Traveluro is a scam
Traveluro is a scam. For your own good, do not purchase from them, otherwise you may find yourself in a busy, fully booked city and no place to sleep!!
I booked a hotel room via traveluro in October, arrived at the hotel weeks later only to find they did not have a room for me. The hotel had contacted Traveluro days earlier saying the reservation was canceled — in fact there never had been a room available, as they had been sold out since September. Nevertheless, the Traveluro website still listed my reservation as confirmed. When I tried calling Traveluro I was immediately sent to a waiting line with Musak and reports that “all agents are busy, stay on the line and you’ll be helped shortly” only to be disconnected after 20 seconds of waiting. This cycle happened multiple times. In the end I reported the transaction as fraudulent to my credit card and I was reimbursed by the bank.

I booked a hotel with this traveluro, my card debited and received email they received my payment and said 30min at most to receive confirmation voucher.. after more than 5hrs haven't receive anything. Try to contact thier help line but to none respond. Very bad experience as this my 1st time with this website.

Cheap rates but bad customer service
Initially I liked Traveluro as it has amongst the cheapest room rates available online. However I had a very bad experience last week when I used them to book a prepaid hotel stay. When I turned up at the hotel, they said they had the booking but I must pay on arrival. I had the receipt from Traveluro saying the reservation was fully paid but the hotel would not budge as they had not received payment from Traveluro. I could not get through to Traveluro on their helpline so after a lot of back and forth at the front desk I was forced to pay for the hotel room again directly with the hotel in order to check in. I have tried contacting Traveluro multiple times but can never get through as I get cut-off after a few seconds on hold. I am seeking a refund for booking number 7305557 as the hotel never received payment. Thanks
Update 5 Jan: Received an email from Nora at Traveluro on Dec 24th which I responded to with the receipt she asked for and have received no response or refund to date despite follow ups.

Purchased a week in Barbados for November 23, back in September 23. Competitive price.Paid by credit card. Confirmation through very quickly. No issues at all.

We booked through this company, got to our hotel and the hotel said they had cancelled us. NO EMAIL or Call NO notice. We called several times at the hotel and all we got was no answer and it hangs up on you. We ended up having to pay more money for another hotel. We STILL have not received our refund or anything. We finally got a hold of someone the next day and they said they would investigate and get back to us. That was 5 days ago. When you call still NO ANSWER AND HANGS UP ON YOU. DONT USE THIS COMPANY ALL THEY DO IS TAKE YOUR MONEY!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WE WILL NEVER USE THIS FAKE COMPANY AGAIN.

Customer service is nearly non-existent
I had to cancel a trip (request 3526407) due to medical reasons and was granted a credit for the next confirmed reservation after a multitude of phone calls and emails. Upon rebooking a new trip I have sent 5 follow up emails over the course of a month to get the credit applied to my new trip. No one has responded. The customer service line number is always busy and always automatically disconnects after a few seconds of waiting on hold. Would recommend avoiding at all costs.

Customer service reached out and fixed my issue the day after leaving this review. I am bumping to two stars. The fact that it requires a trustpilot negative review to get any sort of attention from customer service is still extremely poor service.

Successful Hotel Booking
Got a good deal on a hotel the day before I needed it. Everything worked smoothly at check-in. No issues at all.
July of this year
July of this year, I used Traveluro to make a booking in October from Friday to Sunday because they offered the best price. I got notifications from Traveluro a few days before checking in confirming my reservation. When I went to check in the hotel had difficulty finding my reservation. Apparently, the wrong dates were reserved. The hotel had my reservation as Thursday to Saturday. I had to pay for my Sunday reservation out of my own pocket. I was in touch with Traveluro and they told me they would refund me after sending them my hotel invoice. I was annoyed with the situation, but pleased with how Traveluro was handling it. I sent them what they needed and after a month of no refund and no update I called. After being on hold until they hung up on me, I finally got to speak with a person by selecting the booking option. They told me my refund was still being processed and someone would give me an update soon. The email they sent shortly told me the same thing. It has now been another month and so I reached out again by email with no response. I called again (same scenario as previously stated) and they told me I would get another update and they would bump up its priority. A few days have passed with still no refund and I didn't even get an email update this time. I am extremely displeased with Traveluro.

Worse experience ever, I will never book with Traveluro again
I booked three rooms with Hampton inn by Traveluro. I called Traveluro to cancel one of the three rooms and was told that everything is taken care of. They told me that a confirmation email will be sent. I didn’t worry about the email since they assured me that this has been taken care of already. I came to check in the hotel today and was informed that I have a reservation for three rooms. Call Traveluro and it took 3 hr to get in touch with them. I was hung up on several times after on hold for about a hour. I was told that I could not cancel a room. I would have to cancel the whole reservation. Now it's too late to make any changes.

Confirmation email was immediate, although I did have fingers crossed that the site was ligit and that I had not lost £91. Arrived at the hotel, room booking confirmed by reception staff. Best price offered and overall very happy with the service
Booked a hotel reservation with Traveluro
Booked a hotel reservation with Traveluro through finding a last minute hotel on Google search. Found a great room, however once booking was paid an email was sent looking very legit but stated there will be a confirmation emailed shortly. No confirmation email sent and contacted the property which stated that they had no record of a reservation until my name or provided trip ID. Have been calling the contact us number 646 provided and phone just provides a bunch of options to press, but no one answers any of the lines. Definitely is not a legit company, and will work to have their services removed from being placed on the internet for clickbait. It shows up as a first option when looking for hotels and it should not. Still working to get a refund as this just happened and sitting in traffic trying to deal with this.

SCAM! I tried to Change my dates before the cancellation period. Apparently the hotel was booked for those dates. Tried to change it to other dates and those dates according to the hotel were not booked. So instead of going back and forth with traveluro waiting for them to confirm the change I decided to just keep my original booking date. When I go to check in my hotel the hotel tells me I have to pay out of pocket and that the third party (traveluro) cancelled the reservation! I’m stuck now in a different city with nowhere to stay and no refund! FLAT OUT THIEVES

Traveluro is not an outright scam, but they're highly unethical and you'll be in for an uphill battle should any of your plans change and you need a refund.
I had booked a 4 night hotel stay through them, but agreed with the hotel that we'd be leaving after the first night. The hotel confirmed to us, by email, that they were approving the refund, as well as confirmed to Traveluro that the refund was approved (they also forwarded that approval to us). This was 3 months ago, and if I do get a response to my periodic demands for a refund that I've sent since, they are of the inane "Unfortunately it's not possible" variety, with no rationale or support for this refusal.
In sum, they're either completely incompetent or, more likely, a gaggle of charlatans.
Avoid them if you can. It looks like everyone else has the same complaint as I do - perhaps they're funding their slightly lower prices with the tear-soaked refunds we'll never receive.
