This card has nudged me towards better choices
Got this card a couple of months ago, the app is easy to use and tracking carbon footprint is a genius idea. I've already made better choices like using public transport more often than I used to, which has also been helpful in saving on those taxi rides I was tempted to take when feeling lazy.
Emails and customer support forum very helpful in informing you beforehand what functions are available or developing. I love that their blog is open and honest about their roadmap and what you can and can't at each stage of its development

Love my Tred account for tracking the carbon impact of my purchases - both from Tred and my other cards. With offsetting I can feel like I’m doing a bit for the environment.

The best!
The best. I’ve used other eco friendly banks in the past and this is by far the best one. Customer support has been unbelievably efficient; you wouldn’t think the app is still in beta status.
Had a couple issues like any bank, but all sorted the same day and explained fully.
Emails sent before the app goes into maintenance, giving you enough time to sort any money you’d need during this period (and always early hours of the morning where people wouldn’t really be using their card, so customers unaffected).
Will update my review in time, but so far, amazing and would definitely recommend.
(Also received wilder flower seeds from the company simply for using my card so much! Such a nice gesture!!)

Direct debit and tree plant card.
Only used card twice once online once in shop ,then found had been cloned. So cost me £5.99 new card. Lucky you can freeze and request pin code before any payments taken. Great service thanks for saving the planet.

Delayed launch, ropey app experience, mean customer support
Delayed launch, taking multiple payment for transactions, flakey app experience and passive aggressive customer support.
The issues with Tred seem deep routed in their culture and roadmap.
As I’ve kept using the app, the experience has further degraded, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

Lots of banks flag the sort code and details when other people try pay you money and then the sending bank sometimes won’t even let the payment sent

So far it's been a really good experience with tred.
There has been a few hiccups but that is to be expected with a new company.
All issues have been resolved quickly by the team and the app is user friendly and easy.
If you care about the environment and want to offset your carbon footprint then don't hesitate to sign up!

So far so good with using my card. I have been using it in all my usual places and it nice to know what carbin foot print i am leaving. The one time i did have an issue my email was responded to quickly and the situation was soon resolved.

Loving my TRED card so far
Loving my TRED card so far! Set up was super easy, the app works really well and gives an immediate indication of the carbon footprint of all my purchases. It's already making me think differently about my purchasing habits, and being able to offset any CO2, by planting trees, is a bonus (and not a gimmick, they are conscientious about this!). When I have needed to contact customer support, they have been excellent; friendly, attentive and taking time to give me personalised answers to my queries. I even got some travel tips when contacting them from my holiday in the Lakes - Grasmere Gingerbread was a great shout!!! Highly recommend this card & the team behind it !
