First of all, I like German engineering, and this portable toilet is just that. It's a neat, tidy application, a little on the small side, but very functional. I recommend trying it out a couple of times before actually using it, in our case, both a camper van and a small sailboat, where we replaced the cassette toilet that came with it. All in all, a good piece of kit for whatever your adventure.

What a wonderful composting toilet. And I use mine full time. People need to think what we are doing to our environment. And I never have to call a plumber. I’m disabled and the toilet is so lightweight and easy to clean. NO SMELL. I use it full time and clean it about every three days. They thought of everything, separate compartments for one and two and that is even contained in case it gets close to overflow. I use the bathroom more than the average person because of my disability. We’re thinking of buying one for the pontoon boat. I’m a grandma and my family and I are getting a small lot in the NC mountains, where we will put the RV, with all the grands we may get one for that property, lol who hates waiting. I would suggest this for one bathroom houses. Another thing the material it is made out of has not changed at all, using full time close to a year. I used a potty chair for a month and it was ruined the plastic material. I looked at some bigger Composting toilets, and you had to turn the lever and they’re extremely heavy and you have to take them apart. I was so thankful to find this toilet you will not go wrong buying it.

I bought my Trelino in early 2024, and I absolutely love it. I am not a fulltime vanlifer, but my minivan camper is ready for adventure at all times. The small Trelino stows perfectly under my platform bed. When I set up camp, I fold out the bed platform's side tables and put the Trelino under the one by the van side door. It is super easy to access, including at 2 a.m. I travel with a medium-sized dog. I was leery of the bucket bathroom method touted by many YouTubers because I didn't want spills, smells or regular gross clean-ups. The amazing Trelino design solves all of those issues. Neither my pooch nor I are going to accidentally knock it over, and IT DOEN'T SMELL at all. I tell everyone about the Trelino. For women travelers, a Trelino gives a great amount of freedom on the road and in town. Even in major cities, there are too few safe, free, clean, accessible public toilets in the US. I believe every woman with a minivan should get one of these portable toilets. It's liberating.

I couldn’t be happier with my personal Trelino composting toilet in our sprinter. I modified an existing cabinet to fit it, added a small spray bottle of vinegar mixture and a container of pet litter, added drawer slides - and voila- I have a my own bathroom ! No more dirty gas station bathrooms, no more stinky pit toilets and no more leaving a contaminated campsite. We didn’t want a dedicated bathroom or black water tank when we built out our van - but I was missing a convenient toilet - problem solved when I found the Trelino at a van trade show in SoCal 2023 !

I replaced a recirculating toilet iny camper van . Boy or boy that was a great improvement. No lingering smell we love it. We have used through out the summer and are well pleased with how it takes care of business.

Trevino makes a well engineered & versatile product. I adapted mine for use in a cruising sailboat! It’s more compact and sanitary than a conventional marine toilet and eliminates hull openings, holding tanks and smell!

Good size and capacity not so oder free

I love that little composting toilet and have one in the van and one in the house. Our house has only one bathroom and when we have guests, more than one person often feels the urge at the same time...
I love the semi self-closing, quiet lid and the simple elegant design.
My only gripe is that the urine receptacle is not easy to completely empty out (not self-draining, when inverted), because of the shape of the top: a little liquid always remains, even when you turn it completely upside down. I empty it in the garden under a tree and immediately flush with water, so it's not a big issue, but there is room for improvement here.
I've owned a big Sun Mar composting toilet for 25 years (bought for Y2K...), which has come in handy on occasion, but is a pain to empty and clean and needs it's own room, basically, which is not practical for us. The little Trelino is exactly what I was looking for.

I have had my Trelino composting toilet for a little over a year and it's been a gamechanger. I am full time in my van and use it daily. It's easy to empty and easy to keep clean. I have never had an issue with odors and regularly empty everything.

Loving the Trelino product. I was a little worried at first about what I was getting for the cost. But I've used it for over a year now and appreciate the simplicity of design, ease of cleaning and disposal. Very discrete and streamlined look.

Great design, quality construction, and easy-to-use. We have the Evo-S in our Sprinter van, and the Evo-L in our Escape fiberglass travel trailer. The Evo-L replaced the traditional black-tank RV toilet. Been using ours since Oct and Dec 2023. The liquid-separating design is excellent, and the we notice only a woodsy smell from the combo coconut coir and compressed pine absorbant equine stall pellets. The urine container is easy to clean. Overall we cannot see us ever returning to a traditional RV toilet.

Great size, easy to use, looks good. We are a van builder and prefer the Trelino apposed to others due to its size, ease, and good looks.
