I ordered a sofa in late April, and was informed the sofa was scheduled for delivery mid-May. On the day of the delivery, they failed to contact me and I had to follow up on the whereabouts of the sofa. They later informed me that the sofa had been damaged in transit and would soon provide a revised delivery date. Many weeks later and after numerous chaser emails, still no response.

I have contacted my bank, reported this company as fraudulent, and initiated a chargeback.

Avoid at all costs!

Like many people I purchased a sofa from Trendy Mobili on the 1st May 2024. What caught my eye wasn’t just the prices, but the delivery time of 10 days, wow!!!!
I placed my order and made my payment all without a hitch, lovely.
Everything seemed fine at first, I received my invoice, I could track my order, everything seemed fine.
As it got closer to the 10 day mark I still had not had any communication from Trendy Mobili regarding my delivery date & time, as I work full time and would need to take the day off work to receive my sofa.
I sent a email asking them to confirm a delivery date & time, to which their response was,
Dear sir,

Thank you very much for the order, the delivery time for the model you choose is 15 working days.
Can you tell us in return if you prefer the delivery in the morning or evening ?

I then asked them via email to confirm a date, the response I got was as follows,

I confirmed the date of 24th May 2024 and left it as that. The day before it was due to be delivered I still had not received any communication from them regarding my delivery the next day, so I emailed them again, this is what I wrote to them on the 23rd May 2024,

Good morning,
Please can you confirm that you will be delivering my new sofa tomorrow as per your previous email.
I have not had any communication from you since our last email.

I did get a response that same day via email, here is what Trendy Mobili told me.

Hello

We acknowledge receipt of your email.
Unfortunately, we are 20 days late due to a manufacturing problem with our supplier. The manufacturing took a little longer than expected and we are sorry for that. We ask you to accept our apologies and compensation will be granted for this delay.

We will give you a 20% discount in the form of a refund.

I then replied to Trendy Mobili as follows.

Can u please confirm my delivery date please??
I have been waiting patiently since the 1st of May.
I had to take a day off work especially just so I could be home to receive my sofa.

On the 24th May 2024 their reply to me was.

Hello,

It will be delivered in the second week of June.

Good morning,
I appreciate the update on my order thank you.
I have to be honest your company was highly recommended to me, but so far I feel very disappointed so far.
Originally my order was going to be delivered in 10 days, now it’s going to be 6 weeks. I can understand that there has been manufacturing issues, but it should not be down to me to keep asking for an update on my order & purchase.
Your customer service department should be updating their customers on a regular basis regarding the progress of their orders. I hope you can understand the frustration from your customers point of view.
I will need to take a day off work to receive my delivery, so as soon as you have a confirmed delivery date can you please let me know ASAP.

Since then, I have sent several emails & messages using the chat service on their website in regards to my 20% refund and new delivery date.
Guess what??? Absolutely no response!!!
They are completely ghosting me!!!!
I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but after reading the experiences of other people on here I feel sick to my stomach!!!!
It’s disgusting, how many people are in the same boat as us? How far across Europe has this gone?
Some official body needs to investigate Trendy Mobili, honest people are being robbed of their money.
Whoever is behind this? Needs to be held accountable.
The police, fraud squad and trading standards need to take action immediately.
Like many I will be speaking to my bank about getting my money back.
I would love to hear from anyone on here if they have been successful in anyway?

I start to Believe that it is a scam, do not trust. I waited for sofa for 1month, they do not reply emails,messages non of it. They replied before that delivery should be 31st of May, guess what, it did not arrive. Invisible sofa!!! For 300£!!! Joke.. DO NOT TRUST. Before i purchased a sofa there was only good reviews non of them bad, or someone saying it is a scam, now full reviews are negative. Its pity.... will contact my bank and take this further, will go to police to report tommorow too

Awful! Happy to respond instantly when pre purchase but once transaction completed no response at all. Seems that a few people are lucky and receive their items but also seems quite a few don't!!! Have had to ask my bank to step in and charge back my funds paid. Stated 7-10 delivery which changed to 18-21 days.....42 days later, nothing!! I'd steer clear!

The website has an out of stock sign on every item now... and no-one is replying...
Should have known that the prices were just too good to be true.

DISGRACEFUL,,,ordered a garden set have messaged this customer and emailed them multiple times with no response, SCAM,have just read all bad experiences with them,at the time I put my order in on 8th May 2024,reviews were good but now clearly bad,thought I had a bargin buy,how stupid do I feel,obviously SCAMMED,like others,only glad it wasn't meggar amount but still upsetting I fell for it ,DO NOT RECOMMEND TO BUY FROM THIS COMPANY,

Ordered a sofa from this website 7/5 after reading the reviews that were good, unfortunately after numerous amount of emails to which I have had no reply I am still awaiting delivery which should have been 10 days ago! I have now been in contact with my bank to try and get my money back PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!

I placed an order on the 11/05/2024 and still no update regarding my sofa, I only ordered from this website because the trustpilot reviews were good back then but seems to me like the reviews were bought. However I’ve just read the recent reviews on here and I’m absolutely gobsmacked, I saved up for the sofa and was planning on doing up my apartment living room but it seems like they’ve scammed us all!

Looks like is to late for me to read the reviews.. ordered a sofa on the 07th of May.. was supposed to arrive tomorrow but no tracking for shipping or responses to the emails.. £300 thrown away..

If I could rate -5 I would do it. I was super excited to get a sofa for my new apartment and saw this website with good sofas and good prices and sadly fell for it. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST this website. Today I was meant to receive my sofa and have not even been contacted to update about my order, I paid 300£ and no one even reply to my emails. I truly can’t believe this has happened but I am reading recent reviews and see that a lot of people is experiencing the same. What can we do guys to make this scammers pay for what they’re doing?

No info on the status of the order. I lost my money and I am also loosing lot of money. I tried to contact them on Instagram and they blocked me.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received from Trendy Mobili. I ordered a corner sofa in April, but I canceled the order after the delivery personnel damaged the sofa while preparing it for delivery. I requested a cancellation and a full refund, which Trendy Mobili confirmed via email, stating that the refund would be processed within 7 working days. However, after waiting the specified 7 working days, I did not receive the refund. I contacted Trendy Mobili again via email, only to be told repeatedly to wait another day for the refund to be processed. It is now the end of May, and I have yet to receive my refund.
This experience has been highly unprofessional and frustrating. The company's repeated delays and unfulfilled promises have been a waste of time. I hope that my review will help others avoid similar issues with this company.

My delivery has not turned up and noone has been in touch. I am emailing constantly and using the instant message service with no reply. I just want an answer. Reporting to trustpilot now

I have ordered a sofa and never received it. I heve lost 310 eur. Scam website. If you have the same experience please report them to google safe or local police otherwise so many more people will lose their money.

I was told my sofa I brought is worth 20 days wait which stated on the site 10 days! I was emailing the company and they said they will deliver my sofa 17th may in the morning and waiting all day for my sofa! It took myself to email them to tell me it was damaged and have to wait another 20 days and have 20% discount back which I didn’t receive! Myself and my two kids have been sitting on the floor for a whole month which of one is a 1 year old! I emailed them today as didn’t go through and also been blocked on social media by them as well as I also contacted them once through their socials. My bank are investigating this and taking this further. So many people been in my shoes and I think it’s disgusting what they are doing and I will make sure this website gets put down and they get caught out!!

My single parent daughter saved for months to get herself a corner sofa. Paid in full and told 15 days not the 10 stated on there site, then a email saying the sofa was damaged and promised 20% refund and delivery in 20 days , now she’s blocked and unable to email.

Honestly the worst experience buying furniture. Well....paying for furniture that never arrived. 10 days waiting the website stated. Then i had to email to get a delivery date which was 20 days after ordering. I waited in for it. Nothing. I had to barrage with emails to get an answer to be told it was 20 days behind........ after seeing all the reviews (suspect that all the good ones only have ever reviewed once ever) I cancelled my order as this felt so much like a scam.
I have a newborn and a partner recovering from surgery. We have been left sitting on blankets on the floor in our new home for days because of this "company" do not use them!

A very professional SCAM. Built up beautifully, even made up reviews, I'd assume (reported to trustpilot). Very great costumer service - at least it seems so, they keep promising, and then nothing. No delivery and no update, and no promised return of 10%. (Waited for almost a month, instead of the 10 days listed on their website). Asking for refund - I doubt i'll get it but I will take it further.
