Golda comes through again

Golda comes through again. I needed more funding and sent her a message she got right on it and I was approved again in 3 days, being my attorney was busy and just had to wait a day to get everything done.

Thank you Golda and Tribeca for making this a quick and simple process.

A lot of false hope and lost time

A lot of false hope and lost time. I walked into the situation leary because I know its hard to fund in Maryland. I applied and was working with Danielle whom was sweet but I feel gave me false hope. When i reached out for an update after 2 weeks I was told her investor wouldn't fund me and she passed my file to someone named John who was very rude and told me no one will fund me with me being in Maryland. Why waste my time and get my hopes up knowing I was in Maryland and I really think they need to remove Maryland from their website.

edit to reply:

I was funded once for $1000 I am not sure where this 2nd funding came from. And I was told I couldn't get funded from being in Maryland not due to the last $1000 loan. The first funding was using my Ohio address not Maryland.

It is terrible that you had an accident and you have been through so much. And I agree with you that John can be curt and rude and does not pick up on social clues as he is on the spectrum. I am a bit confused why you said a lot of false hope and lost time along with that we should remove our Maryland page from our website. We funded twice before, and this was the third attempt to provide you with a pre settlement loan. We provide funding to hundreds of residents of Maryland (including you). But we felt your case would not support a 3rd funding. Regardless, we want to wish you the best with your case and speedy recovery.

Don't use this firm if you are on probation or have a background!

They had me going for about a week saying it's for sure Monday well that was Juneteenth so that was a no go but they insured me it's for sure going to happen on Tuesday, she was just waiting on her underwriter. Wednesday comes along and it's all good then she asks where my state id is out of. I tell her Oklahoma and don't hear nothing back for untill I ask why at 6pm. Then she says she's sorry no investors will do it cause my background. I'm on a deferred sentence for a year for hitting an EMT coming out of a seizure. So she tells me it looks like I'm going away for a year or two. And sorry it's not Tribeca's fault. And it's not going to happen.

Brandon, you have my deepest sympathy and unwavering support. I really wish that we could provide lawsuit loans for all that apply but realistically we cannot. You were approved late Tuesday after the long holiday weekend. And part of the process in pre settlement lawsuit funding is to perform a background check for child support, bankruptcy, etc... Which we need to take into account. I realize you are facing hardships and have hard luck. And it was not Tribeca that caused you to be incarcerated. And if not for the fact that you were sentence to one year, you would already received your funds. I know you have a lot on your plate right now, but I hope the best for you.

Waste of time

This company claims that you can get a loan within 48 hours! "Tribeca Lawsuit Loans provides funding for employment lawsuits at every step of the case — including before you file!" I applied for funding on a Wednesday, my lawyer responded to the email with the requested information and documentation on Thursday, within 20 hours of the information being requested. At that point I assumed I would hear something before the end of the day Friday, I did not. I then reached out to Diana via email AND a couple of phone calls only to realize I would not get any sort of response until after the holiday weekend (memorial day). Which meant, the soonest i'd get a response regarding a STATUS update, not even a decision, would be Tuesday. I received NO updates of substance between Tuesday and Thursday (6 business days later) while waiting. Even more frustrating is that I had to relentlessly be the one following up on the process. When I did finally receive a decision I was informed of the following "I heard back from the underwriting team. At this time we are unable to provide funding, as it is still early in the process. I can calendar this case and revisit it in 30 days, to see if more information is available for review." At best, I thought maybe they would offer a smaller amount than was requested, or at least some sort of explanation as to what exactly that meant "too early in the process" considering they advertise that they offer funding "even before you file, including pre-filing, pre-trial, during trial, etc". Massive waste of time and extremely frustrating given current circumstances.

ETA - In response to the business' response:

I am honestly appalled at this response in general, even more appalled by the amount of spelling errors within the response. Not necessarily the best look in a professional sense, but since you all took it upon yourselves to disclose details of my personal legal matter, I will respond to clarify.

On April 14th when I initially submitted the application I received a phone call from Diana as well as a voicemail. Within 10 minutes of receiving the voicemail I received an email from Diana that indicated she was reaching out regarding my application. This was at 5:08pm EST. When I saw the email I attempted to give her a call and left a voicemail myself. I had not heard back right away but noticed that her hours indicated 10am - 6pm EST. So I responded to her email indicating that I attempted to call and it went to voicemail. This was now 5:41pm. Diana responded at 5:48pm indicating she had already left the office for the day and asked that I call Monday after 10am. I replied to that email asking about the number that is advertised as 24/7 on your website, if that was a different department or if I was able to call that number instead of waiting until Monday. I received NO response at all. So understandably, when matters became more urgent for me, I followed up on the application on May 11th.

This is the first I am hearing of any other type of funding being looked into, as it was not at all discussed with me. Diana attempted to call me ONE time after I had already reached out several times via email regarding the status. So I am missing how my phone being shut off made following up more difficult for her?

I am confused about why the date of me hiring my attorney is relevant here. Especially considering the relevant date of the entire claim is 01/29/2023. There was no significant gap in my call to action. I actually did not indicate anything regarding the arbitration demand, my ATTORNEY responded to your email inquiry regarding the status of my case. He simply indicated that “The matter is currently pending in JAMS arbitration”

Aside from emergency situations, such as being unable to cover basic living expenses (including a phone bill, which if it is not paid, gets shut off) due to loss of employment and a pending legal matter - I guess I am missing the point of this type of funding. I am not disgruntled due to being denied, I am disgruntled that your company has advertised so heavily that it does not matter what stage of the legal process you are in, you could still be eligible for funding. Not to mention the immense lack of transparency regarding the entire process and turnaround time along the way.

As far as revisiting the option, I am missing that point as well considering my urgent situation is in fact urgent. Holding off for an additional 30 days would only make matters worse. So I will seek funding elsewhere.

My heart goes out to you. I understand that you are facing financial stress and need the lawsuit loan to give some breathing room. But to have a fighting chance to fund you, we need the minimum amount of case documents. On our website and instructed by staff to relay to application, it says clearly "Lawsuit Loans Approved as Fast as 48 Hours". You were informed each day of the status and were included in our communications with your law firm asking for the missing important information. To have a successful case and for us to provide a pre settlement cash advance, you need three things; Liability, Established Damages, and a Source of recovery. When you first applied, you were told then that your law firm has not had sufficient time to develop your case ("too early in the process").. Now as much as we would like to be able to fund all applicants, we are unable to, but that did not stop us from taking time, effort and staff resources from trying. I just wish you could understand this and regrettably, the legal system in this country is broken and works very slowly. That does not change the fact your law firm is in the early stages of the fight for you. I can see why you would be disappointed but as Diana mentioned we would be more than happy to revisit considering funding when there are new developments in your case. But please see that we are unable to fund all who apply but still give a lot of time and effort to those who we considered. We wish the best of luck in obtaining a lawsuit loan and winning your case.

The entire team at Tribeca was amazing

The entire team at Tribeca, starting with William md including Golda and Candace made this a simple, easy and comfortable process. I would only recommend Tribeca for these services. William was especially helpful as the intake person usually isn't so knowledgeable and friendly.

Highly Recommend

First off, Golda is an awesome person to work with, from the get go she was very helpful and stayed in contact with me throughout the whole process. These loans take time to process especially if your attorney is to busy to give them the info they need to make a decision, my time was exactly 4 days to get all the info and make a decision, I signed my contract on Friday afternoon and the cash is on its way today Monday. Golda is someone you can have confidence in and who goes to bat for you. I highly recommend Tribeca and Golda to help with your needs.

Thank you very much Golda

Highly recommend

Highly recommend If you need a Pre-settlement loan, Tribeca is the BEST! I called Tribeca and William (Will) picked up quick. Heard my case and got right to work. Communication with my Attorney and Tribeca was fast.He explained the process and kept me updated until the funding was completed.

Stress relieved !!

Golda and William really went to bat for me and made it happen in a very short amount of them. When I've been declined before at the very moment of funding, and other companies didn't even ask clarification on anything , Golda and William actually took the time to sort out all information , which ultimately helped me get funded. Would highly recommend these two. They really went to bat for me, and I was in such a hole. This helped me get back on my 2 feet until my settlement is complete. Thank you much !

Jake is very rude!

Only offered $1000 and when I wouldn’t except it with a $10 a day interest fee until the case settles, Jake hung up on me, he was very short and very rude to talk to definitely don’t do business with this company!

You are confusing Tribeca Lawsuit Loans with another funding company. We do not have a Jake here and we definately do not charge $10 a day for a $1000. Could it be that you also contacted another funding company, I do see you in the our system but marked a On Hold since you only had soft tissue inujries. We do not fund soft tissue.

These people DON’T CARE and LIE!!!

Rep William Flavin LIES about possible approval and wasted 5 days of my time. He essentially told me that they needed 1 peice of info from my Attorneys and the Yes or No would not disqualify from a loan. He proceeds to email the wrong department and doesn’t respond back to my messages for another day or so, to then finally email the right person by the 5th day. He then immediately disqualified me from a loan. Instantly, even tho he said that info would NOT disqualify me. He wasted so much of my time trying to hold me back from getting funding from another company. This behavior is just sickening when someone is looking for HELP!

I am at a loss, you were approved and funded within a few days of contacting our company. Your request was submitted Feb 21 in the afternoon. You digially signed the HIPAA relase the next day. The next day Feb 23 you were approved, but your attorney for some reason did not sign his portion of the lawsuit loan until the following Monday Feb 27th. And you then recieved the lawsuit loan funds. What am I missing?
