Incredibly frustrated with customer service

Incredibly frustrated with their customer service team. There was an issue that occurred that will result in incorrect W-2s being issued in early 2020.

I reached out to them in October of this year detailing the issue. I then reached back out to check on the escalation three weeks later. The issue was still not resolved. A week or two after that, I receive an email reiterating my original issue that I had provided to their team as my "solution".

Honestly, maybe this company is simply too big to deal with individual tax issues. But, if that's the case, maybe they should get out of the business of trying to handle these matters for companies? Please think twice before starting a partnership with them. A C-level executive in my current organization is having similar frustrations due to an unrelated issue.

We have now switched to a competitor in the sphere. While competitor's will also not be perfect- they do seem to be a bit more attentive to critical issues that come up for employees.

Trinet folks are a pleasure to work…

Trinet folks are a pleasure to work with. I was working with a company who used Trinet a couple years ago and it seems like a lot has changed since then, for the better. Happy we made the switch and looking forward to using them for years to come.

This is very unusual for me to write a…

This is very unusual for me to write a bad review it takes a lot for me to get to this point. I recently enrolled in health insurance through TriNet. I signed up for enrollment at the end of the month and they charged me for the whole month even though I can’t use the services I just paid for. I requested to cancel my benefits and they denied me. I have talked to several customer service representatives from TriNet and they have all been very rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful. Unfortunately it looks like I’m not the only one who has had this experience with TriNet. They should probably reevaluate how they conduct their Business.

Poor customer service dept and…

Poor customer service dept and inefficient website platforms.
Overpriced compared to other companies that provide a much better service. You are better off with ADP or Paychex. Two companies that are far superior in every way and less expensive.

Worst Experience Ever

Worst Experience Ever. This PEO cost our company thousands of dollars through their mistakes. The reporting they provide via their website is incorrect and half the time you have to email them and they send you completely different reports. Their response time is days, even on important issues and they very rarely respond with anything more than a maco canned response. Save yourself a headache and the turmoil and find a different PEO.

Gets the job done

The platform is ok. I don't like the fact that employees can only view their paycheck on the actual day that they get paid. The site is pretty easy to navigate through.

Communication

The initial functions offered by Trinet are easy, but there are some issues with receiving the correct information when any issues come up, which can become rather time consuming.

Who is managing your team?

As long as the client manages the SOI team, service is fairly good. Follow up and knowledge by some team members is severely lacking. Incorrect information has been provided which would have caused major liability had it not been caught by the CLIENT. Also, your onboarding portal is clumsy and cumbersome. Not a good first impression to make with new employees. Finally, your benefits enrollment process needs to be reviewed. You cannot expect anyone to enroll online when you don't allow them time to receive and review plan materials.

Great partner

TriNet is an excellent partner for our business and they are always there when we need them. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who is looking to outsource HR and Payroll.

Trinet

Would not recommend to other companies who are thinking of using them. Very frustrating experience. Like pulling teeth to get timely or accurate responses. Client Services Associate seems overwhelmed and juggling too many things, which causes drops in service and back and forth on calls and emails regarding "was this taken care of? when? what was the result?". Principal Capital Consultant is responsive when she wants to be, but only responds to emails or phone calls at their convenience. Requires constant reminders to call or respond to an email. Director of Capital seems very far removed from it all. Technical system problems seem to continue to plaque the system. Given the number of clients Trinet has and the costs we incur to use these services, the system side of Trinet needs to be much improved to get to a level that would be considered "acceptable" for this type of business. I am surprised quite frankly that there are so many bugs in the system for a company of this size whom you would think has the staff and competencies to address these software issues. Steer away from them.

Excellent

TriNet has been awesome to work with. They really watch out for the smaller companies, assist in hiring new employees, payroll, HR issues, and communication is excellent. As a small business owner it's very reassuring knowing that TriNet is on our side and working to the benefit of employer and employee but following the laws and regulations in our area.

Love the Staff at TriNet!

We are a very small start-up spread out between across the US with our employees and TriNet is by far the best EPO I have found. They do it all which makes it easy for us to only need one person in our HR. The staff is what really makes you coming back for more. They are knowledgeable, professional, kind and courteous and go above and beyond the call of duty for any inquiry you may have. Is a pleasure to be working with TriNet indeed.

Trinet's client service is excellent!

We have done business with TriNet for over a year and we have had a great experience. It has been a great partnership. They have provided real HR/payroll solutions to our company. Although they are very automated, they are also accessible. We have a great human capital consultant and great client service representative.

Great Partners!

I have had a great experience with TriNet. They have been a true HR and Payroll partner for my company. Whenever we have any HR issue or question our Human Capital Consultant is there to answer quickly. The payroll process is simple and can be completed with little hassle.

Great Experience

Coming from a small, in-house HR department and back-office, the transition was smooth but with some cultural shock. You can never anticipate everything but no surprises. Great team, both the transition team and the regular team. Once we were settled in and our employees were use to the system and programs, we've had no issues. Makes our company so much more professional to new hires. Saves the back-office a lot of time.
