Excellent, efficient company, responds instantly in the app and resolves any issues that arise, thanks to them my vacation was not ruined.

Good job. Bought expat coverage in September by reference of my friend. It is first claim for me. They arranged me dental appointment next day after request (in samui) in the clinic which I requested. I paid by myself and claimed reimbursement, was waiting 5 days and got a money. Brilliant service, it works like medical insurance coverage but cheaper:) strongly recommended for”nomads.

(First of all, the company is Russian, don’t be fooled by the office in Estonia)

I was insured with them for a year. The polite tone disappears as soon as you actually need to use the insurance.

Their scheme is simple: “we can’t find a partner”, tell you to find a hospital and pay yourself, then ask for reimbursement. And then they just don’t pay.

Brazil. For a whole day they couldn’t find any partner clinics for me. They told me I could go anywhere and request reimbursement later.

I went, got hospitalized. Before discharge I asked what documents they needed, collected everything and submitted the claim. That’s when it started.

“Wait 14 business days” - after 20 days they asked for more documents. After another 5 days they told me to wait another 14 business days.

In the end, after 35 days - denied. Minus $5000 for treatment, even though I had insurance. Up to you to decide.

Since i can’t reply to the comment directly, i will respond here: there isnt a single marker in the test results indicating that the illness was caused by alcohol consumption. I consider your refusal to compensate a personal insult.

Update:

In their public reply, the company claimed they are not related to any Russian entity. However, in the same response they referenced details of my personal case, including medical-related information, which could only have been obtained from their Russian operation.

I was never informed about any transfer or sharing of my personal or medical data.

Shortly after, the company edited their response and removed parts of it.

I bought health/travel insurance from Tripinsuranse for my mom . She is Russian citizen who was travelling to UK as tourist. She has asthma as precondition. After one week in UK she got bronchitis. I contacted Tripinsurance asking for referral to doctor by using phone number shared in the insurance contract. The response was quick confirming that they started working on our case. The appointment with the doctor was booked and we visited the clinic within four hours after my first message to Tripinsurance. Doctor fee was covered by direct debit from Tripinsurance I just had to pay for prescription.
The company contacted me after the appointment to check how it went. They also contacted me after two days to check if anything else is needed at that moment.

I am very happy with the price of insurance and level of services from Trpinsurance.

The best insurance for travellers. You don't have to pay for the treatment, they send you to the hospital and cover everything. Every time I am abroad ,I buy insurance from trip insurance and they never disappoint me. This time my tooth got broken in Thailand. That's such a great insurance company! I have been with them for two years already, have been traveling all over the world. Whenever I have a problem,they answer very quickly, choose the hospital where people can speak English, and they do not only cover your doctor's appointment and tests but also your medical prescription.
