Serious Warning for Travelers and Operators Alike

Be very cautious when dealing with Cheryl Slater and her new brand "Travel With A Soul". Our company provided a sailing holiday for her client last 16 August 2025 but she failed to forward the client payment to Med Sailing Holidays, despite the client paying in full. This is very serious misconduct / misappropriation of funds.
Cheryl repeatedly claimed that payment had been remitted and even provided what appeared to be a falsified remittance document, stating that the funds had already been transferred. Despite follow-ups and formal demand letters, we received no resolution or response.
Since this theft of funds Cheryl has attempted to liquidate Soul Seed Media and Travel to rebranded as Travel With A Soul. This company's director have committed serious criminal offences under the Insolvency Act 1986 — deliberately trying to close the business to evade debts, breaching their fiduciary duties under the Companies Act 2006, and fraudulently rebranding as a 'Phoenix Company' — conduct that carries personal liability for all company debts, director disqualification, and up to two years imprisonment.
We strongly advise other operators to avoid partnerships and encourage travelers to work with reputable and financially transparent agencies when planning their trips.
