The moment we landed in Japan
From the moment we landed in Japan, the TripToGo team made the experience feel effortless. They were incredibly accommodating and patient, answering all of my mother’s lingering questions before the trip and throughout the journey. That level of care set the tone for everything that followed.
Japan itself was unforgettable. From inspiring temples to unbelievably delicious street food, from deer bowing politely for a treat to the endless creativity of Japanese fashion, every day felt like stepping into a living story.
Ray and his driver were simply the best in class. Professional, organized, and deeply knowledgeable about Japan, Ray brought each destination to life with stories and insights we never would have discovered on our own. His humor, patience with every traveler (including those of us who occasionally ran late to the bus, me), and even his tales about the black bears in the forest made the experience feel human, warm, and unforgettable.
One thing Ray shared that stayed with me was a beautiful piece of Japanese philosophy: “Do not make trouble for others.” Alongside the idea of “one tea, one meet,” it reminded us to appreciate each moment and interaction as something unique and meaningful.
On the back half of the trip, my mom unfortunately injured herself (pinched nerve from her hip down to her calf on her left leg). Ray and the team handled the situation with care and patience, which we truly appreciated. One small suggestion for future preparedness might be keeping a wheelchair or cane on the bus for emergencies because when life throws a curveball, it’s always nice to have a little extra support on standby. Consider it the travel equivalent of carrying an umbrella just in case.
All in all, this was an incredible experience. I’m already looking forward to coming back to Japan, next time with my girlfriend, and hopefully experiencing another tour with Ray or Mizki.

From Toyotomi to Tokugawa
I’m a bit of a history buff and Ray made the trip very interesting. From Toyotomi to Tokugawa he made us relive the era with the castles , temples and shrines we visited. He was after all a teacher. I could say that he took very good care of us and the food and hotel accommodations were superb making sure you taste Japan in its elegance! Delicately spaced in between the schedule is free time to just explore Osaka, Nara, Kyoto and Tokyo at your own pace. The whole group’s dynamic was that of a family..in fact that is what Ray called us. I would highly recommend Trips to Go and have Ray and driver Fujisawa san to guide you in this journey!

My experience is with the chat were very positive and very prompt. I am currently concerned about canceling a trip to Turkey. I understand the policies but wish there was an option to get a credit. The customer service reps through email chat and on the phone were extremely helpful.

We’ve bought a trip to Jordan and Egypt through your company starting March 31. About two weeks ago we asked your representative to provide us with the detailed itinerary, including the names of the hotels we’ll be staying in. Up till now we didn’t get any information.
