Shop doesn't respond uses deceptive practices
This TropicalPlants UK.com shop doesn't reply to simple questions, you don't get a mug or cup despite such being in Olive tree photo. Customer service is atrocious to none existent. There's no declaration that the mug or cup is for illustrative or decorative purposes. This shop lies. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid at all costs Please don't shop here you'll be left disappointed.
Christmas Cactus
I had a query regarding colours and description of three Christmas cactus which arrived promptly and very well packaged.
I phoned and my questions were answered immediately and I am happy with their explanation. Good value for money.
Bad delivery and damaged plants
I ordered three plants in ceramic pots but when they arrived, there was no packing protection for the plants, which were strewn across the bottom of the box, along with the soil and empty pots. I managed to salvage the plants but if they live remains to be seen.
This is such a shame as I had waited until payday to treat myself. I feel cheated out of my money and out of the plants!
I won’t be ordering again!
This Company is absolutely terrible
This Company is absolutely terrible. After reading other reviews I then decided to write my own. They are incompetent beyond belief once they have your money they just do not care what crap that they deliver to customers. I ordered 9 flowering plants for £25.00 and got just 4 and 3 died and 2 were only evergreen. They asked for photos and i sent them photos. Their reply was because I had replanted then they would not be able to replace or refund me. This has been going on for a few weeks. They were then told by B&Q to replace them but go no reply back. Tonight I spoke with B&Q and got all my money back. Their silence was golden in how they treat their customers. B&Q was who my contact was with so I had more luck with them than the company.
Shame on you to put profit before customers.
I will not be doing business with you again and feel sorry for all the customers who were ripped off.
AVOID AVOID AVOID
I ordered 5 plants from them. I received cuttings wrapped in wet soggy soil. They are definitely not plants. One of the plant I ordered was a £9.99 nanouk. For that amount you expect a decent plant. The other one was Callisia Elegans whose cuttings could not survive after 3 days as the cuttings (even though I ordered plants) were rotting when they arrived. I emailed them to say that I am very unhappy with the products (I wouldn’t call them plants) received. They asked me for pictures which I have sent. I did not receive any reply after that. I am delighted with my rockery plants
I am delighted with my rockery plants - carefully packed & healthy looking plants. I shall return for another order!
Do not use this seller under any circumstances.
I was misled into purchasing inferior plants that did not match the advertising. When I received my order, I discovered that the Monstera was no larger than a cutting and did not align with the description provided. Additionally, another plant had been replaced with a completely different variety without my knowledge or consent. The company substituted it with a much cheaper plant without informing me.
I regret to say that while the company acknowledged this substitution, they only offered me a £2.50 refund for an order originally priced at £20.00. The plants I received were faulty and worth far less than those advertised on their seller page. As a result, I believe these items were misrepresented to me.
Now, the company is demanding that I return the plants—perishable goods—in the original box. I suspect they will find some issue with the items upon their return, even though they are non-returnable. I will never purchase plants from them again.

Avoid, avoid, avoid!
They sent me a Monstera Thai Constellation with dry rot and basically admitted that they let it dry out over the winter, causing the rot. They are refusing to accept a return. Additionally, they sent me a rare Alocasia with a leaf missing at the end of the stem. After some back and forth, they were completely unhelpful and only offered me £10 off my £100 order.
Late Delivery, Poor Packaging & No Response
I ordered plants from this seller via Amazon, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The plants arrived two days late, and the packaging was completely inadequate. The box was far too large, with the plants laid sideways instead of upright. There was nothing securing them in their pots, so by the time they arrived, the box was full of loose soil, and none of the plants remained in place.
I reached out to the seller to raise my concerns, but unfortunately, I received no response. However, I expect they will reply here, as public optics are important. I only wish they had shown the same level of care privately to resolve the issue.
This order was meant to arrive on March 24th, but it didn’t arrive until the 26th—too late for when I needed it. If this is their standard of packaging and delivery, I wouldn’t order again. I hope they improve their service and provide more accurate delivery estimates in the future.
Healthy plants packed well
I ordered 18 x Primula Acaulis (Primroses) mixed colours they arrived very quickly and so well packed every pot secure and plants looking so healthy.
Where do I begin?!
Where do I begin?!
Not only did they send me a diseased plant they also wouldn't give me a full refund.
Absolutely shocking a professional plant trader would send a plant dripping in thrips which could have contaminated my entire plant collection.
And to be offered not a full refund is diabolical.
In response to your reply . You took over 10 days to respond and that is not ok. As for sending the plant back that was dripping in bugs. I wouldn't ask my mum to spend her time boxing up a plant that needed to go in the bin. An why on earth would to want to have a diseased plant in your warehouse!
So yes I wasn't pleased with your extremely poor customer service! You sent a faulty unusable item, why should I have to return it when you had clear proof of the photos of all the thrips on it!. You are lucky I didn't go to the bank to do a charge back! This item wasn't fit for sale and you know it. Carry on ripping people off, you won't last long in business.
Id suggest you spend less time arguing about your poor service on trust pilot and more time looking after your diseased and infested plant stock!
