My husband and I go to tropical…

My husband and I go to tropical smoothie quite a lot. One day the drive through was particularly busy ( it was busy inside too) I was extremely pleased at how fast everything kept moving. The manager, Aaron, was working the drive through window. He was efficient and kind. Our orders are always right and served quickly. Very well run in Defiance Ohio !

I ordered one of the new Tropiboba

I ordered one of the new Tropiboba Bowls, the berry one specifically, and I don’t know how tropiboba sounds like very berry açaí, but after I waited for 5 minutes to get my order, I saw there was no bowl, I asked what happened and Sam P said that I ordered the drink and I must have miss spoken! Unbelievable 1/5 stars, server was annoying and cocky. Will not go back to the Oswego location again!

I would give negative 10 if they had

I would give negative 10 if they had , horrible experience every time i go there, they are short staffed, take 25 mins to deliver ur order , get everything wrong u ordered, they don’t pay attention to what u asked, no professional courtesy, this place i don’t even how they are still operating will never ever go to this place again all 3 times were horrible experience . This is my first review for any store r any online i shopped in my 15 years , that bad this place is.

Awful app that doesn’t work.

I used the app and earned rewards. I went to one store to redeem it and they couldn’t get it to work. They said there was nothing they could do.

I went to another store a few weeks later, and tried to redeem a different award, and again the same thing happened.

The different manager said there was nothing they could do

Why have an app when it doesn’t work? I for one won’t be back. And I was a happy customer. It’s sad.

Smoothie you come back for

Making a smoothie is fairly easy. Making a smoothie you come back for day after day is something the grapevine tx location does best. Offering personalized service with a great product. KUDOS to the the team!!!!!

I placed an order for a wrap and…

I placed an order for a wrap and smoothie combo Watchung NJ while I was told my order was on its way I received a message stating my order was canceled. I called the manager Jimmy who told me to call him in 1 hour as he was going to call Door Dash to resolve gave him 2 hours called and he did not even know what I was speaking about. I will never purchase from that store again and a regular customer I feel disrespected and customer service is poor. I am going to my bank for a charge back and Jimmy you lost a customer you suck..

Poor Customer Service

I stopped in today for a smoothie and stood waiting for almost 10 minutes while the staff focused exclusively on online orders. They clearly saw me standing there — eye contact was made — but not a single person said a word to me. No "we'll be right with you," no acknowledgment whatsoever.
Then two customers walked in after me and were immediately helped while I continued to stand there invisible. When I finally spoke up to let them know I'd been waiting, I was told I needed to go to the register to order. Interesting, because I've been to this location before and was never told that, and other Tropical Smoothie locations have taken my order right at the counter without issue.
What should have happened here is simple: tell the customers who came in after me that I was next, take my order, and apologize for the wait. Instead, I was ignored, skipped, and then made to feel like the inconvenience. Basic customer service shouldn't be this hard. I won't be back to this location.

Oh, the management! But I do love the Chia Banana Boost.

I ordered a PB/Banana Nut Crunch (substituted Nutella) and a Chia Banana Boost through the app. The app has issues if its own (you can't ask for things on the side or customize some easy things), but the biggest issue TODAY was that the bananas on the sandwich were obviously VERY green and they were cut into squares (you know how firm they were when you can dice a banana) with the consistency and taste of Banana peel. In other words, even Nutella could not redeem the taste.

I have been in that store before (Moore town Rd.) and politely told some of the young employees that green bananas are not ripe, as well as explained how to help them ripen more quickly in the future (for someone else's orders). Apparently, nobody listened.

Similarly to the last time there was an issue with receiving an order from this store via Door Dash, I was told that there was no manager on hand when I called. I was told to call back later.

Last time, I had to try on multiple days. This time the gentleman took my number and said he'd call me back today, which was an improvement from last time I had an issue (last time Door Dash delivered the order to the wrong location--it wasn't TSs problem, but a refund was needed and...no manager available).

Many employees there are very kind and friendly, but I am not pleased with the management or the product at least half of the time (the sandwiches are burnt at times, but I have a limited menu I can choose from when eating out, or in, for that matter).

How difficult is it to hang a sign by the Door Dash pick up spot that says "Don't forget straws and napkins... Thank you!!" or to be present at work sometimes (instead of the store being run by just two 20ish and unders)?

Anyhow, green bananas are not at all tasty. The smoothie was fine, but the sandwich, in spite of the Nutella, was a disaster, and unfortunately, the gentleman couldn't just say to mention his name next time I came in and they'd remake it... without managerial approval. If the manager is gone all of the time, there should be a plan for issues that arise.

It may be time to invest in a smoothie machine of my own.

Update: I was called back and offered a new sandwich, which I appreciate, but because this is not the first time green bananas have been an issue, I am going to leave the review, but change my rating to 3 stars.

Wait time sucks, and got orders wrong. Disaster

Placed a mobile order that was supposed to be ready around 12:01. Had to wait over 20 minutes PAST when my order was supposed be ready after I was sitting inside, turns out other guests who come in after me and order after me are more important. Also ordered an açaí bowl with no strawberries and blueberrys, but with banana and when I got it there was NO bananas in them at all. But the other thing I got with that was a yogurt with peanut butter and bananas in it with Nutella drizzle. Got the bananas in that though, but no Nutella drizzle? Come on. And on Valentine’s Day? Are we serious….it wasn’t even that busy. And people who ordered after me got their orders before me when I was waiting longer than them already….? The wait time on top of not getting my bananas on my bowl and Nutella drizzle on my yogurt bowl is really what takes the cake for me. So now I’m eating an açaí bowl with just grahams and peanut butter….do better

Great employees and great experiences!!

Went through the drive thru this morning after physical therapy for a refreshing smoothie and ended up getting a super yummy salad!! Thank you Jadyn and other staff members for your help and always being super helpful when im making my decisions!!! Always great food and smoothies with a smile!!!
